Pre-orders are currently open on the G1 Heavyweight Hoodie until this Friday (11/22) at 5:00 PM.

Available colors are Black and New Navy. The AKP G1 insignia will be embroidered onto the left chest in white thread for both colorways. All sizes are available from Small to 4XL. These are on Carhartt heavyweight rain defender blanks; they’re a little pricey for us to get compared to other hoodies, but Carhartts are awesome.

Screw it, Carhartt hoodies it is. I’ll keep these pre-orders open until next 11/22 and should get them by 12/13, along with the shirts.

Somebody reached out to me about hoodies. Here’s the thing on that. We can do cheap hoodies, but I want something good. I know Carhartt makes great hoodies, but then that gets expensive since they’re not one of those common “blank” brands. And I want the insignia to be embroidered onto the hoodie, not screen printed. So here’s the question:

Would you pay $75 for a black or navy blue Carhartt hoodie with the G1 insignia embroidered in white on the left chest? That price is just a couple dollars higher than what we’d be paying for them but I don’t care about the margin as much as I want this to be a high quality hoodie that will last a long time.

I spend too much time focusing on the failures and shortcomings of others while justifying and ignoring my own. I’m tempted to think, “I know I’m a sinner, but I’m not bad as that guy.” In the moment, it can feel like scoffing at another’s sins somehow make mine a little better. But it’s just self-exaltation and self-deception. It’s just a distraction from my own conscience convicting me. It’s the sin of pride and I don’t have other people or the devil to blame for it; the charges fall solely on me.

What do I have to be prideful about? Because someone else’s sins are different or worse than mine? What commandment did he or she break that I haven’t already broken in my heart? Which sins do not warrant the eternal penalty? What sins will God not punish because someone else’s were worse? I’ve broken God’s law and I’m just as guilty of divine treason and just as deserving of the eternal penalty as that other person and every other human being. It’s only by God’s grace that we’re saved, not by anything we’ve done, but by God’s gifts of genuine repentance and faith in Christ.

Pray today that the Lord would lead us to love and humility, and cause us to hate our own sins more than the sins of others. Pray that we would not be self-deceived in our motivations when we go to remove the speck from our brothers’ eyes. And pray that the Lord would reveal to us the logs in our own eyes first.

“Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people. For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. The saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people. But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless. As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.”

(Titus 3:1-11)

As a Christian, you profess faith in Christ, but how do your actions reflect this conviction? You chant “Christ is Lord” but do you live as if Christ reigns over your life? Do you genuinely believe the Bible is God’s Word and profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness? How is this truth shaping your thoughts and deeds? Is the Spirit’s miraculous transformation of your heart evident in the way you live? What has changed in your spiritual walk since you first believed? Do you carry on in unrepentant sin? Do you commune with God in daily prayer? Do you pursue wisdom and truth by studying His Word? Have you joined a church and devoted yourself to the weekly assembling of the saints? Do you share the gospel message with unsaved friends and family? Reflect on these questions, and examine yourself honestly.

This is just as much a reminder for me as it is for anybody reading. What are you willing to sacrifice for your loyalty to Christ? What have you given up in your pursuit of truth and holiness? Are you willing to be forsaken by friends and family because of your faith? Are you prepared to lose your career because your employer is coercing you to violate your conscience? Are you ready to be imprisoned and executed because you’re a Christian? If you aren’t even willing to pause the YouTube videos or take a break from Instagram reels for 30 minutes of Scripture reading and prayer, why do you think you would be willing to die for Christ?

Do you not believe you need to take up your cross daily and follow Christ? Do you not believe this life is coming to an end and eternity is approaching? Do you not believe God’s promises are true? Do you not believe your unsaved friends and family are on the path to destruction? What do you believe? Why are you a Christian? Are you just a Christian because you were raised in a Christian household and it’s easy in America right now to tweet out “Christ is Lord” and feel good about yourself, or are you a Christian because you know this is the ultimate truth of reality?
