This message came from one of the subscribers of this channel.

When I asked why she left university in her first year, she gave a solid answer that made me think:

"Nowadays, we don’t even know what we’re doing.

We just waste our time watching movies, sleeping, playing video games, and hanging around with people who have no plans or ambitions, while others are trying their hardest to focus on self-growth and development."

To be honest, I’m really really impressed by this message from her, and it even made me feel ashamed.

I came from challenging and harsh specialized school environment. Everyone persistently tried to achieve the best, surpass each other nonstop. And this grit used to push us to the edge, make us better and stronger day by day.
Even though we were in our 16-17, there were no distracting lovey-dovey stuff. ((When I came to Tashkent, I couldn't find anyone who has no bf). Only studying, eating, sleeping and again studying.
My classmates were increadibly smart, goal-oriented. I would love to study with them again. Unfortunately, I couldn't meet those kind ofs at university. I would prefer to be a sheep among the bests, not the vice versa.

I'm an extra introverted, can't make myself happy from social life. I'm only happy when I'm developing. And I see the development in self-growth, knowledge - based achievements, learning new types of things. I also congratulate my achievements: I buy my lovely bananas, mandarins, chocolates, piece of cake, lavash&Cola and find a near cafe, eat them all alone, happy all alone☺️ I don't need smn to make me happy. I'm happy by myself.
That's my reward.

It seems quite boring. But it keeps me from suicide, pushes me to be alive, to strive and have hope into the future. And I'm a lil bit odd: when I'm stuck in one thing, no movements at all, no development, no result, failure, I always question myself: what I'm made for, what I'm living for, what's the meaning of living, if u can't better urself, why just don't die?

Oʻzingiz xohlamagan hayotda yashagandan koʻra, dream life uchun harakat qilgan yoki tinchgina oʻlib qoʻya qolgan yaxshiroq.

University fitted for everyone, but not for me.

And it's not anyone's fault.

It's the system's fault, otherwise, why do u work instead of sitting in the class?!

Overall exam was not too bad.

I think Section C was easier because there are 7 marks worth simple income tax computation in first question.

Then the whole 12 marks worth Sara's income tax computation with trading profit employment income property income and other income.

There was also 15 marks worth corporation tax with trading profit, capital allowances, property income and chargeable gains on takeover. Accounting period was 9 months.

But in Section A there were a lot matching box questions which I hate most

Also Section B questions were not so hard and I am kinda confident in this exam.

However I was late to my exam and successfully wasted 20 minutes of exam. FYI UWED entrance in the back side of the building

Keyboards and mouse barely worked and exam hall was very noisy which means distrubted many candidates.

Ok whatever comes is for goodness and I wish you strong sabr to wait 6 weeks for your results

Hello everyone!

I hope you study and prepare well to your exams.

Because only a week left for the beginning of December session exams and it may feel pretty stressed.

In general its natural to worry about your exams but it won't never help you.

Instead take this last week too seriously, take at least 1 mock exam, identify your weaknesses and improve them by revising what you forgot.

Now its time to purely focus on your studies, forget about sleeping, use every minute as efficient as possible and ace your exam.

And I also wanted to remind you something:

-For all debits, there must be credits.

Best of luck dear

Learning ACCA can be challenging due to several factors.

Here are some common difficulties students may feel most

1) Self-Discipline: Procrastination or inconsistent effort can negatively affect your preparation.

2) Language Barrier: If English isn’t your first language, understanding technical terms and exam requirements may be difficult.

3) Extensive Syllabus: ACCA covers a wide range of topics, from accounting standards to taxation, audit, and financial management. Keeping track of everything can feel overwhelming.

4) Complex Topics: Certain areas, like financial instruments (SBR) or performance management (PM), require a deep understanding of complex principles and calculations.

5) Time Management: Balancing studies with work or other responsibilities is tough, especially when exams demand consistent effort over months.

6) Retention of Information: Forgetting topics covered earlier due to the volume of material.

7) Exam Pressure: ACCA exams are rigorous and require not just knowledge but also exam techniques like time management and writing skills.

8) Financial Constraints: Exam fees, study materials, and tuition can be costly.

9) Staying Motivated: The long duration and high failure rates of ACCA exams can make students lose motivation.

10) Limited Practical Application: Students sometimes struggle to relate theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios.

The best overall solution to tackle all these challenges is to follow a structured study plan and practice consistently. This includes breaking down topics, revising regularly, using ACCA-approved resources, and practicing past papers under exam conditions. Pair this with discipline and a clear goal to stay motivated throughout your journey.

My name is Dilnoza Zaripova, ACCA|FCCA, and I am an experienced finance professional and passionate ACCA tutor. With over 12 years of hands-on experience in finance, including roles in reporting, accounting, internal and external audit (Big4), I bring a wealth of practical knowledge to my teaching.

I know firsthand the challenges and dedication required to succeed in ACCA. Having completed 13 out of 14 exams on my first attempt within just three years, I developed efficient strategies for mastering complex concepts while managing time effectively. These experiences inspire my approach to teaching—I focus on simplifying difficult topics and equipping students with the skills they need to excel.

After graduating from Riga Technical University in 2012, I began my career as an accountant at an international oil company in Uzbekistan. This role ignited my passion for finance, setting me on a path toward greater achievements. Between 2014 and 2017, I embarked on the challenging yet rewarding journey of ACCA studies. By passing 13 out of 14 exams, I earned my ACCA membership in January 2018.

In 2023, I reached a new milestone by becoming an ACCA Fellow (FCCA)—a testament to my ongoing dedication to the profession and commitment to continuous growth.

As a tutor, my goal is to guide aspiring finance professionals toward success in ACCA and beyond, helping them build strong foundations for rewarding careers in accounting and finance. Whether you’re just beginning your ACCA journey or aiming to tackle the final stages, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Let’s achieve your ACCA goals together!

Why Overconfidence Can Be Both Good and Bad

One of the most interesting things about me is that I tend to overestimate my abilities. I often think I’m better than others, which gives me a lot of confidence and energy. This attitude helps me in many ways, but it also causes some problems at times.

For example, when I was preparing for the IELTS, my teacher said that older people usually get higher scores because they have a better understanding of the world. This made me angry because I thought I was the best, no matter what. I later realized I was wrong, but back then, I was so sure of myself.

Even now, I believe I can achieve anything I want, and I don’t see any limits to what I can do. This keeps me motivated and confident when I start something new. But sometimes, this overconfidence works against me. I’ve failed at certain tasks because I believed in myself too much and didn’t prepare properly. I’ve learned that while confidence is important, it’s also important to take things seriously and be ready for challenges.

In the end, my overconfidence is both a strength and a weakness. It helps me stay positive, but it also reminds me that being careful and realistic is just as important.

📚 Balancing ACCA Exams, Work, and University Lessons 🎓

Staying on top of ACCA exams, work, and university studies is challenging but manageable with the right approach. Here are some practical tips:

-Set Clear Goals and Prioritize 📝
Start by defining your priorities for the next few months. Identify deadlines for ACCA, university assignments, and work tasks. This way, you’ll know where to focus your energy each week.

-Create a Realistic Schedule
Allocate specific times for study, work, and personal life. Block out focused time slots for ACCA subjects, but be flexible – unexpected things come up! Aim to dedicate at least 1-2 hours daily to ACCA and 1 hour for university studies.

-Don’t Waste Time 🚫
With tight schedules, every minute counts. Limit time on social media and other distractions. If you’re waiting in line, traveling, or have 10-15 minutes to spare, review flashcards, listen to ACCA audio notes, or catch up on any pending assignments.

-Take Breaks to Avoid Burnout ☕️
It’s tempting to keep pushing, but a 5-10 minute break between study sessions can help you stay fresh and retain more. Short breaks keep your mind sharp and motivated.

-Evaluate Your Progress Regularly 🔄
Every week, check if you’re meeting your goals. If you’re falling behind, adjust your schedule or identify where you’re losing time.

Remember, the key to success in balancing ACCA, work, and university isn’t just hard work but smart time management. Stick to your plan, keep distractions in check, and make every minute count. You’ve got this! 💪

Good day everyone👋🏻

I'm often asked, "Can I find a job with just my ACCA qualifications?"

Let me clarify a few things!

📌ACCA is a powerful credential, but it's not yet universally recognized among employers. Many of them may not fully understand what "ACCA" stands for or how it translates to valuable skills. So, instead of saying, “I have X Y Z” it’s far more impactful to communicate the skills you bring to the table.

For example:

Instead of saying I have F3, F7, and SBR:

🔸I can accurately record and classify every transaction that occurs in your business process.

🔸I can prepare key financial statements like the Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, Statement of Changes in Equity, and all necessary disclosures and notes each month.

🔸This means you'll have a clear view of your company's financial health, including your creditors, debtors, and net worth.

🔸My expertise can make your company more attractive to potential foreign investors.

🔸You’ll be able to reinvest in your business, start new ventures, or share dividends consistently.

Instead of saying I have F2, F5, F9, APM, and AFM:

🔸I can analyze your company’s performance, helping you understand cost behaviors and how to improve profitability.

🔸I bring skills in budgeting and forecasting, which allows for effective financial planning to ensure sustainable growth.

🔸I can manage and assess investment opportunities, ensuring your company’s funds are used in the most profitable way.

🔸With advanced performance management knowledge, I can identify areas for cost savings and optimize operations to drive better results.

🔸I can advise on strategic financial decisions, including risk management and funding strategies, to maximize returns for shareholders.

Instead of saying I have F4, LW (Law):

🔸I understand the essential laws affecting businesses, such as contract and employment law, allowing me to safeguard the company from legal risks.

🔸My knowledge of corporate governance helps ensure that the business complies with regulatory requirements.

Instead of saying I have F8, AAA (Audit & Assurance):

🔸I can conduct thorough audits to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial statements.

🔸My audit skills support the credibility of your business’s financial information, building trust with stakeholders and investors.

🔸I can identify and mitigate potential risks in your internal controls, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing the likelihood of fraud or errors.

Instead of saying I have F6, ATX (Taxation):

🔸I can navigate the complexities of tax laws to ensure compliance while identifying potential tax-saving opportunities.

🔸My tax expertise ensures that your company’s tax affairs are managed efficiently, reducing risks and maximizing savings.

Instead of saying I have F1 P1, P3, SBL (Strategic Business Leader)

🔸I bring leadership and strategic insights that help align financial goals with overall business objectives.

🔸My expertise in corporate strategy allows me to make informed decisions that support long-term growth and sustainability.

---

By describing the skills and impact of your ACCA qualifications in this way, you highlight what you can do for the company—not just what certifications you hold. This shift in focus makes your value as an ACCA-qualified professional clearer and more compelling to employers.👨‍💻

You can also explain these skills to show how important they are in every business, emphasizing not only the value of ACCA certifications but also the knowledge gained through them.

I wish I were among this group of happy students.

However, today I faced my biggest failure ever.

(But still, exactly one year ago, I was more upset about someone else's failure than I am about mine now)

I don’t like blaming external factors or making excuses.

I failed because.....

I know I should have done better.

So, I cannot be mad about things that are passed.

And I promise, this will be my last failure,
