𝗧𝗼 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

It has come to my attention that some students have engaged in unethical behavior during recent examinations.

Specifically, instances have been reported where students have:
1.Brought mobile phones into the examination hall.
2.Utilized these devices to access external information, including through unauthorized communication channels such as Telegram groups.
3.Participated in activities that compromised the integrity of the examination process, such as seeking external assistance (Using Chatgpt), and sharing answers on the telegram group.
These actions constitute a serious breach of academic integrity and are strictly prohibited by university regulations.

Given the severity of these incidents, this directive is being issued with immediate effect. It will be strictly enforced, including for any students previously found in violation of these rules during this year's examination period.

The consequences of academic misconduct include:
1.Immediate Disqualification: Any student found to have electronic devices during an examination will be immediately disqualified from that examination.
2.Grade Forfeiture: All grades for the exam will be forfeited, resulting in a failing grade for the course.
3.Two-Year Barring: Students found to have engaged in such activities will be barred from all examinations and the program for two academic years.
4.Disciplinary Action: Further disciplinary action, including but not limited to further suspension or expulsion, may be taken in accordance with university regulations.
Academic integrity is paramount at AASTU. We expect all students to adhere to the highest ethical standards and to uphold the integrity of the academic process.

#Important Announcement: Final Exam Schedule Update!

Dear Students,

We have some important news regarding the upcoming final exam schedule!

Previously, exams were set to take place from January 6 to January 17. However, recognizing that this period overlaps with the Christmas holiday, the Student Union advocated for a change, and we’re pleased to announce that the university has approved this request!

#Expected New Exam Dates:

• Exams previously scheduled for January 07 and 08 will now be held on January 02 Thursday and 03 Friday.

🔍 Important Notes:

• Students enrolled in 7 or 8 courses will have exams on consecutive days.

• For all others', there will be gaps between your exam dates.

የአዲስ አበባ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ፕሬዚዳንት ደረጀ እንግዳ (ዶ/ር) ለኢትዮጵያ ፕሬስ ድርጅት እንደገለጹት፤ ዩኒቨርሲቲው በዋናነት ከሚሠራው የመማር ማስተማር ሥራው በተጨማሪ ተማሪዎቹ ከዩኒቨርሲቲው ሲወጡ ያላቸው ተፈላጊነት እንዲጨምር የተለያዩ ሥራዎችን ይሠራል።

✨ቅዳሜ እና እሑድ Data Collection በሚል ርእስ ላይ ለ118 ተማሪዎች በAASTU ተገኝተን ሥልጠና የሰጠን ሲሆን ከብዙዎቻቹ በደረሰን ጥያቄ መሠረት ኅዳር 14 እና 15ም በተመሳሳይ በ AASTU ተገኝተን Data Collection ሥልጠና ለመስጠት ተዘጋጅተናል።

✨ ሥልጠናው የdata collection ክህሎቶችን የሚያስጨብጥ የ 2 ቀን ሥልጠና ሲሆን በየትኛውም የሙያ ዘርፍ ላይ ብትሆኑ ይህ ሥልጠና መረጃን እንዴት በተገቢው መልኩ መሰብሰብ እንዳለባቹ አስፈላጊውን ግብዓት የሚሰጣችሁ ይሆናል።

Dear Students,
As previously communicated in the letter from the Academic Program Directorate on October 7, 2024, it is mandatory for all students to complete the “Student Success Suite (SSS) courses” through the new university e-learning system at https://courses.aastu.edu.et/. Currently, our records indicate that only a few students have enrolled in and completed the courses, as illustrated in the above figure.

Action Required:
All students must activate their accounts and enroll in the mandatory courses this week. Please make an effort to complete the courses within the available timeframe.
For assistance with account activation and enrollment, we encourage every student to visit the Digital Library after class this week for support, if needed.
Once you have completed all seven short courses, please submit a screenshot of each course combined into a single PDF document. Use the following links to submit for further confirmation by the registrar and system administrators.

ደረጃ ከማስተር ካርድ ፋውንዴሽን ጋር በመተባበር ታላቅ ሀገር አቀፍ የሥራ አውደ ርዕይ በአዲስ አበባ ሚሌኒየም አዳራሽ ጥቅምት 27-28/2017 ዓ.ም አዘጋጅቷል።

በአውደ ርዕዩ ላይ ከ300 በላይ ቀጣሪ ድርጅቶች እንዲሁም ወደ 20,000 የሚጠጉ የ2015/2016 ዓ.ም ተመራቂ ተማሪዎች ይሳተፋሉ።

በዩኒቨርሲቲው አዲስ ለገቡ ተማሪዎች ማክሰኞ እና ረቡዕ ጠዋት ለሁለት ቀናት የትምህርት ክፍሎች እና የተማሪዎች አገልግሎት ሰጪ ቢሮዎች እና የክበባት አደረጃጀቶች ገለጻ ማድረጋቸው ይታወቃል ፡፡ ከዚህ ጋር ተያይዞ በትላንትናው ዕለት ደግሞ የማጠቃላያ ገለጻ እንዲያገኙ ተደርጓል፡፡

ገለጻውን ዶ/ር ከማል ኢብራሂም የአካዳሚክ ጉዳዮች ም/ፕሬዝዳንት ለአዲስ ገቢ ተማሪዎች የእንኳን ደህና መጣችሁ መልእክት በማስተላለፍ ያስጀመሩት ሲሆን በዚህ ዓመት የገቡ ተማሪዎች ሁለት ፈተናዎችን አልፈው ወደ ዩኒቨርሲቲያችን የተቀላቀሉ በመሆናቸው ልዩ እንደሚያደርጋቸው ገልጸዋል፡፡ በዩኒቨርሲው ቆይታቸው ከአካዳሚክ ትምህርታቸው በተጨማሪ ስብዕናቸው የተገነባ እና የክህሎት ባለቤት ሆነው እንዲወጡ መልእክት አስተላልፈዋል ።

የዩኒቨርሲቲው የሬጅስትራር እና አልሙናይ ዳይሬክቶሬት ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር ጸጋየ በለገ በአካዳሚክሱ ዘርፍ ያሉትን አጠቃላይ ሕጎችን እና መመሪያዎችን በማስመልከት ሰፋ ያለ ገለጻ ሰጥተዋል ።

የተማሪዎች አገልግሎት ዲን ዶ/ር ሰሎሞን ተስፋየ በዩኒቨርሲቲው ለተማሪዎች በተማሪዎች አገልግሎት ቢሮ ሥር የሚሰጡ አገልግሎቶችን እና መመሪያዎችን በሰፊው አብራርተዋል ።

የተማሪዎች ኅብረት ፕሬዝዳንት ተማሪ ሰሎሞን ታረቀኝ የዩኒቨርሲቲውን ተማሪዎች በመወከል የእንኳን ደህና መጣችሁ እና የእንኳን ደስ ያላችሁ መልእክት አስተላልፎ የኅብረቱን ኃላፊነት እና የሚሰጣቸውን አገልግሎቶች የተመለከተ ገለጻ አድርጓል ።

በፕሮግራሙ ላይ ተጋባዥ እንግዶች ለተማሪዎች የሕይወት ተሞክሮአቸውን አካፍለዋል ። ፕሮግራሙ በዓለም አቀፍ መድረክ ተወዳድረው አሸናፊ ለሆኑ የዩኒቨርሲቲያችን ተማሪዎች ሽልማት በመስጠት ተጠናቋል ።
