Woke up at the crack of dawn (=ни свет ни заря) today. On my day off, damn it! Just found myself lying in bed and spiraling (=крутить мысли) about my work and how I feel about it 🫠

🍊 Here’s what was running through my mind at 6 in the freaking morning⬇️

😶‍🌫️Why does it take me so long to create a course or launch a new group?
😶‍🌫️Why is it taking forever for my blog to take off?
😶‍🌫️What’s it like to live without ADHD and anxiety-to have ONE thought at a time and actually do ONE thing at a time?
😶‍🌫️Why do I feel so lonely in the teaching community yet make zero moves to change that? Is it just me being too shy and introverted? (Leaving a comment on someone’s post feels like a huge leap out of my comfort zone, let alone (=не говоря уже о) sliding into someone’s DMs (=написать в личку). Or am I just making excuses?)

📁 9 years of teaching (3 of them freelancing), 4 years of blogging, 2.5 years of therapy, and I still feel like a fraud sometimes. I still have moments of doubt and frustration when Instagram’s algorithms mess with me, and I still catch myself falling into the comparison trap, thinking I’m not doing enough.

🥰A few days ago, I had a Q&A on Insta, and someone asked how not to give up on blogging when you're getting little or no feedback. It’s funny how I can easily encourage others to keep going, but when it comes to my own life, I can’t seem to find that same support within myself when I need it most.


But heeey, at the end of the day, I guess we're all just figuring things out as we go. So I’m just trying to cut myself some slack (=быть снисходительнее к себе). I might not have all the answers, but at least I’ve got a pretty awesome playlist and a solid cup of coffee to get me through the chaos 🤢 And who knows, maybe tomorrow I'll wake up after the crack of dawn lol 💖
