Types of dreams in Islam

With regard to what you see in your sleep, it falls into three categories:

good dreams which come from Allah;
bad dreams which come from the devil;
and what a person is thinking about.

Interpretation of dreams in Islam falls into various categories:

1- Dreams may be interpreted in light of the Quran.

2- or in light of the Sunnah.

3- or by means of the proverbs.

4- or by names and metaphors.

5- or in terms of opposites.

Dreams are of three types : Rahmani (those that come from Allah), nafsani (psychological, they come from within a person) and shaytani (those that come from the Shaytan). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Dreams are of three types: a dream from Allah, a dream which causes distress and which comes from the Shaytan, and a dream which comes from what a person thinks about when he is awake, and he sees it when he is asleep.” (al-Bukhari, 6499; Muslim, 4200)

There's a lot of explanations on dream but the point here is that, eating food is a good dream because you are enjoying yourself. Especially in this economy when food is scarce, you should be thankful to Allah for eating in dream and not the belief of the Yoruba's especially when they say that it's poison. It is the wife’s duty to serve her husband within the bounds of what is reasonable and as other wives who are like her serve husbands who are like him.

A husband can contribute to household chores by taking on tasks like: taking out the trash, mowing the lawn, washing dishes, grocery shopping, doing laundry, cleaning the garage, fixing minor repairs around the house, making meals, wiping down countertops, vacuuming, sweeping floors, and taking care of yard work. But it's not inappropriate for your wife to take it as an opportunity to blackmail her husband and make it obligatory upon him.. a husband can only assist in the heavy duties depending on the kind of environment you live.

If that will be causing issues, you both need counseling on how to maintain your home so that small issues like this won't spread wide like fire. You can even both decide on looking for those that can be fetching the water and paid them off instead of worrying over what's not up to an issue.. it's just a matter of understanding.

A husband must always appreciate the goodwill of his wife. He should not treat it as a legal claim against her. Moreover, he should not leave all the housework to her alone. The husband should provide her with servants wherever possible, and should himself assist her in performing these function. But the servant shouldn't be a male, but a young female not fully mature to avoid stories that touches the heart.

A woman’s work in the home is important work in which she helps to spread love and mercy in her home, and she plays a major role in raising her children and helps her husband in his work, da’wah and pursuit of knowledge.

A woman will be rewarded for her work in the house if she seeks reward with Allah for that, and is sincere in her intention.

وَلَكِنْ يُكَفِّرُ اللَّهُ بِهِ الْخَطَايَا.

*Who is Shaykh Hassan bin Qaasim Ar-Raymi?*

He is Abu Abdis-Salaam Hassan bin Qaasim bin Muhammad Sagheer Al-Yemeni Ar-Raymi, graduated from the faculty of Hadeeth in 1412 of Islamic University of Madeenah. He is currently residing in Thailand giving dawah there.

*The Scholars he studied with:*

1.)He took from Al-Imaam Muhammad Naasirud-Deen Al-Albaani and accompanied him , rahimahullah for close to one month and a half

Shaykh Muhammad Amaan bin Ali Jaamee, rahimahullah, said:

"I have become acquainted with Shaykh Hassan Qaasim in a time period which is not short, as he used to adhere to (attending) the lessons (held at) the prophets Masjid, rather he would always be in contact with me even outside of the Haram, and it is for that reason that I mention him with good, with knowledge, with adherence and with severe diligence in Matters pertaining to the Aqeedah and adherence to the Sunnah, as he is also distinguished with having abundant mannerisms, humility, beautiful etiquettes and these attributes are befitting that they are present within every student of knowledge..."

Al-Imaam Muqbil bin Haadi Al-Waadi'ee, rahimahullah, said:

"He (Shaykh Hassan bin Qaasim) is from the major callers to Allah in Yemen" - 1420

Shaykh Rabee bin Haadee Al-Madkhali, said regarding him:

"Indeed Hasan Bin Qaasim is from the prominent people of my students."

"Indeed Hasan Bin Qaasim Bin Muhammad Sagheer Al Yemeni is from the best of the students of knowledge, due to (the state of his) Deen, his etiquettes, his love for knowledge and he is a graduate from the faculty of Hadeeth of the Islamic University (of Madeenah), he has requested from me this recommendation and I see him deserving of it…" - 14/1/1413

Shaykh Yahya bin Ali Al-Hajooree said:

💛Transliteration: 'A 'oothu billaahi minash-Shaytaanir-rajeem. Allaahu laa 'ilaaha 'illaa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyoom, laa ta'khuthuhu sinatun wa laa nawm, lahu maa fis-samaawaati wa maa fil-'ardh, man thai-lathee yashfa'u 'indahu 'illaa bi'ithnih, ya'lamu maa bayna 'aydeehim wa maa khalfahum, wa laa yuheetoona bishay'im-min 'ilmihi 'illaa bimaa shaa'a, wasi'a kursiyyuhus samaawaati wal'ardh, wa laa ya'ooduhu hifdhuhumaa, wa Huwal- 'Aliyyul- 'Adheem.

❤Transliteration:'Amsaynaa wa'amsal-mulku lillaahi walhamdu lillaahi, laa 'ilaaha 'illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa Huwa 'alaa kulli shay'in Qadeer. Rabbi 'as'aluka khayra maa fee hathee-layla wa khayra maa ba'dahaa wa 'a'oothu bika min sharri maa fee hathee-layla wa sharri maa ba'daha, Rabbi 'a'oothu bika minal-kasali, wa soo'il-kibari, Rabbi 'a'oothu bika min 'athaabin fin-naari wa 'athaabin fil-qabri.


❤اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَمْسَـينا ، وَبِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا ، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا، وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ المصیر

💚Transliteration: Allaahumma bika 'amsaynaa, wa bika 'asbahnaa, wa bika nahyaa, wa bika namootu wa 'ilaykal-maseer


❤اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِر لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

💚Transliteration: Allaahumma 'Anta Rabbee laa 'ilaaha 'illaa 'Anta, khalaqtanee wa 'anaa 'abduka, wa 'anaa 'alaa 'ahdika wa wa'dika mas-tata'tu, 'a'oothu bika min sharri maa sana'tu, 'aboo'u laka bini'matika 'alayya, wa 'aboo'u bithanbee faghfir lee fa'innahu laa yaghfiruth-thunooba 'illaa 'Anta.


❤اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اَمْسَيْتُ أُشْهِدُكَ وَأُشْهِدُ حَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ، وَمَلَائِكَتَكَ وَجَمِيعَ خَلْقِكَ، أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ 4x

💚Transliteration: Allaahumma 'innee 'amsaytu 'ush-hiduka wa 'ush-hidu hamalata 'arshika, wa malaa'ikataka wajamee'a khalqika, 'annaka 'Antallaahu laa 'ilaaha 'illaa 'Anta wahdaka laa shareeka laka, wa 'anna Muhammadan 'abduka wa Rasooluka. (4times)


❤اللَّهُمَّ مَا أََمْس بِي مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ أَوْ بِأَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ فَمِنْكَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيك َ لَكَ، فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ

💚Transliteration: Allaahumma maa amsaa bee min ni'matin 'aw bi'ahadin min khalqika faminka wahdaka laa shareeka laka, falakal-hamdu wa lakash-shukru.


❤اللَّهُمَّ عَافِـني فِي بَدَنِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِـنِي فِي سَمْعِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَصَرِي، لَا إِلَهَ إلاَّ أَنْتَ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُبِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْر، وَالفَقْرِ، وَأَعُوذُبِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ ، لَا إلَهَ إلاَّ أَنْتَ 3x

💚Transliteration: Allaahumma 'aafinee fee badanee, Allaahumma 'aafinee fee sam'ee, Allaahumma 'aafinee fee basaree, laa 'ilaaha 'illaa 'Anta (three times).Allaahumma 'innee 'a'oothu bika minal-kufri, walfaqri, wa 'a'oothu bika min 'athaabil-qabri, laa 'ilaaha 'illaa 'Anta. (3times)


❤حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَآ إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ 7x

💚Transliteration: Hasbiyallaahu laa 'ilaaha 'illaa Huwa 'alayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Rabbul-'Arshil-'Adheem.(7times)



❤اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِينِي، وَدُنْيَايَ، وَأَهْلِي، وَمَالِي، اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِي، وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِي، اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ، وَمِنْ خَلْفِي، وَعَنْ يَمِينِي، وَعَنْ شِمَالِي، وَمِنْ فَوْقِي، وَأَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِيَ

💚Transliteration: Allaahumma 'innee 'as'alukal-'afwa wal'aafiyata fid-dunyaa wal'aakhirati, Allaahumma 'innee 'as'alukal-'afwa wal'aafiyata fee deenee wa dunyaaya wa 'ahlee, wa maalee , Allaahum-mastur 'awraatee, wa 'aamin raw'aatee, Allaahum-mahfadhnee min bayni yadayi, wa min khalfee, wa 'an yameenee, wa 'an shimaalee, wa min fawqee, wa 'a'oothu bi'adhamatika 'an 'ughtaala min tahtee.


❤اللَّهُمَّ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَاطِرَ السَّماوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَلِيكَهُ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي، وَمِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشِرْكِهِ، وَأَنْ أَقْتَرِفَ عَلَى نَفْسِي سُوءاً أَوْ أَجُرَّهُ إِلَى مُسْلِمٍ

💚Transliteration: Allaahumma 'Aalimal-ghaybi wash-shahaadati faatiras-samaawaati wal'ardhi, Rabba kulli shay'in wa maleekahu, 'ash-hadu 'an laa 'ilaaha 'illaa 'Anta, 'a'oothu bika min sharri nafsee, wa min sharrish-shaytaani wa shirkihi, wa 'an 'aqtarifa 'alaa nafsee soo'an, 'aw 'ajurrahu 'ilaa Muslimin.


❤بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الَْأرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ 3x

💚Transliteration: Bismillaahil-lathee laa yadhurru ma'as-mihi shay'un fil-'ardhi wa laa fis-samaa'i wa Huwas-Samee 'ul- 'Aleem. (3times)


❤رَضِيتُ باللَّهِ رَبًّا، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِيناً، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَى اللَّهُ عَلِيهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيَّاً 3x


💚Transliteration: Radheetu billaahi Rabban, wa bil-'Islaami deenan, wa bi-Muhammadin (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallama) Nabiyyan. (3times)


❤يَاحَيُّ، يَا قَيُّومُ، بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ، أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ، وَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ

💚Transliteration: Yaa Hayyu yaa Qayyoomu birahmatika 'astagheethu 'aslih lee sha'nee kullahu wa laa takilnee 'ilaa nafsee tarfata 'aynin.


❤أَمْسَيْنا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّـي أَسْأَلُكَ خَـيْرَ هَذه اللَّـيْلَة، فَتْحَها، وَنَصرها، وَنُورهاُ وَبَرَكَتَها، وهداها، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِيها وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَها

💚Transliteration: Amsaynaa wa 'amsal-mulku lillaahi Rabbil-'aalameen, Allaahumma 'innee 'as'aluka khayra hathee-laylati, Fathahaa wa nasrahaa wa noorahaa, wa barakatahaa, wa hudaahaa, wa'a'oothu bika min sharri maafeehaa wa sharri maa ba'dahaa.


❤(أَمْسَيْنَا عَلَى فِطْرَةِ الْإِسْلَامِ، وَعَلَى كَلِمَةِ الإِخْلَاصِ، وَعَلَى دِينِ نَبِـيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَاـَى مِلَّـةِ أَبِينَا إِبْـرَاهِيـمَ، حَنِيفاً مُسْلِماً وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ

💚Transliteration: 'Amsaynaa 'alaa fitratil-'Islaami wa 'alaa kalimatil-'ikhlaasi, wa 'alaa deeni Nabiyyinaa Muhammadin (solla ALLAHU alayhi wa sallam), wa 'alaa millati 'abeenaa 'Ibraaheema, haneefan Musliman wa maa kaana minal-mushrikeen.


❤سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ 100x

💚Transliteration: Subhaanallaahi wa bihamdihi.(100times)


❤لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ 10x

Marriage is sacred and should be honoured. The people around you aren’t helping matters with the manner of things they are telling you.

A man sleeping with his cleaner dishonours your marriage, himself and you. Beyond that, he puts you at risk of different dramas and infections. If upon getting caught you have been told to do the worst you can do, it is clear this person no longer cares about the marriage.

Yes, you may be stubborn and yes, you did hack his phone, an unfortunate approach but given what’s come up, that has become secondary.

When caught cheating, the first thing that comes to the mind of the culprit is to deny, and indeed, many do deny.

Where that cannot be done, they go ahead and downplay it, making it seem like it doesn't mean anything. It's a marriage, what do you mean it's 'just'......?

If care is not taken, many will make this about how you found out. If it's from their devices, then the 'privacy' clause is thrown up. "What were you checking my phone for?" And after an attempt has been made to hide, the attempt to gaslight, confuse and manipulate you will begin. In the end, you may even find yourself apologizing and even you will not understand how you went from being hurt to being the bad person who has done nothing but bring up the case.

Marriage has good standards, however, many humans struggle to keep up. We just want to do what we wish as we wish it, without getting caught or when caught without being asked.

Welcome to the situation many are dealing with today!

Finding out that your spouse is having an extramarital affair will hit you and hurt but you have to remain composed enough else you will not even be able to make your case. Yes, it's emotional but you have to be able to express yourself clearly with whatever proof you have. Being a husband doesn’t excuse you on hygiene.

In a lot of homes, the wife is assigned laundry and cleaning duty and that seems to encourage an entitled mindset on being careless and dirty.

It’s your boxers but you throw it anywhere you like, sometimes after days of wearing it even when you have other clean ones.

We don’t even understand what this means for wives, many of whom intimacy is demanded. How do you kiss passionately, a man whose mouth hasn’t been properly brushed (if brushed at all)? How do you stay focused on caressing a man covered in stale sweat from a bushy armpit and pubic area?

You’d think the above is bad until we even talk about the conditions of said bushy armpits and even pubic hairs which have become browned with dirt. For those who use the toilet without washing up with water, a brown stain along the butt line (your guess is as good as mine on what the stain is)
I kid you not, this is what many have to deal with.

During intimacy, we demand activities that include using the mouth sometimes, but on what body part? The same smelly one not cleaned?

There’s nothing wrong with the concept of a clean man who takes care of his body, clothes and smell. Nobody is turned on by filth and dirt.

Get enough underwear, you can afford it.
Keep them clean, you are not too busy for that.
Change regularly, it’s not too much to ask.
Brush, wash up and have good baths regularly, it’s good for everyone.

Take responsibility of yourself, you’re an adult.

Marriage is a journey. As such, when you marry someone you join the person's journey and they join yours.

If you are going right and that side is promising, what you want is someone to complement it. If you marry a person who is going left, it will undo whatever good exists on your journey.

Many have gotten married only to become broke as a result of the decisions.

When you have a spouse that shares your dreams, visions and energy, you complement each other and become better. If you both have $10, suddenly you have a $20 household. If you both are trying to get spiritually stronger, suddenly you learn faster. If you have children, training them becomes half as tedious, chores become fun. You grow.....fast, strong.

Imagine being married to a spouse who doesn't pray, that will slow you down if you are one that is spiritual. But that may not be so bad if they bring other things but willing to grow.

But imagine being a praying spouse married to a spouse who is not interested in praying. It will be a strain.

Now that's just one aspect, imagine all the other areas of life; personal development, finance, parenting, intimacy etc.

Don't compare yourself to others negatively but if you get a spouse who aligns with you, life becomes less stressful and success, growth come twice as fast, twice as nice.

Pay attention to what values you desire
Pay attention to who you seek them in
Pay attention to details
Pay attention to your prayers too

A wrong spouse can scatter your life's journey....and that bit is real and scary.

While character is key, there's more to it because two good people can have a bad marriage too.

Look beyond religiousness, looks, character...add emotional intelligence, spirituality, temper, open mindedness, drive, energy, financial intelligence, shrewdness, and the capacity for growth.

I’m sorry you are having to go through this but I’m first concerned about your mental state. Go to a place where you can rest or be around people you can trust to be able to calm yourself down. Let them know you are in a bad mood and don’t want to talk about the issue, you just need to relax.

Stay until you are calm enough to go back.
Send her a message saying you’d like for this information to be controlled and what can make it worse is for people trying to call you or beg.

Send a message to the children and tell them a business trip just came up and you have to be away urgently, it may take a day or more.

In this period, allow yourself to rest and pace your emotions right. Avoid alcohol or any substance because at this point, you need your clarity.

Whether you like it or not, your mind will playback what you experienced. You need professional help immediately so speak with a therapist you trust.

When your mental state has been addressed, then we can talk about what actually happened or the marriage; whatever is left of it.

Unfortunately, this will affect you, your wife, your children. The idea is to make the most of it.

In Arabic, the concept of an orphan varies slightly depending on context:

1. *Al-Yateem (اليتيم)*: Refers to a child who has lost their father. This term is typically used for human beings.

2. *Al-‘Iji (العجي)*: Refers to a child who has lost their mother.

3. *Al-Lateem (اللطيم)*: Refers to a child who has lost both parents.

For animals, however, *al-Yateem* specifically describes a young animal that has lost its mother.
