Topic: MATRIMONIAL SECRETS OF BEDCHAMBER; A CASE STUDY OF THE ROOMS OF THE WIVES OF THE PROPHET ﷺ

The intended bed for this discussion is the place of comfort for the spouses they both share.
Allaah says in Soorah An-Nahl, 8;
Meaning: And Allāh has made for you from your homes a place of rest
In Soorah At-Talaaq,
Meaning: keep them [in an abode] where you dwell out of your means and do not harm them in order to oppress them.
The Prophet ﷺ did not have separate room but shared rooms with his wives.
The bed shared entails an ethical rulings to stick upon, having these;
1. It is a place of rest, so such room should have bed, pillows and other things that can make the spouses comfortable.
It shouldn't be a place to keep loads like a store room
On this, the Prophet ﷺ prepared for his daughter Faatimah pillow and other essentials needed to sleep
2. The room shouldn't be decorated with animate objects,musical instruments and its likes
Although same ruling goes to other rooms in the house, the spouses room should be prioritised and taken more seriously.
The Prophet ﷺ cleaned his shared rooms with his wives from prohibited things as it happened when a curtain was bought by our mother Aaishah having picture. On seeing the picture on it, the Prophet ﷺ instantly warned strictly against it and asked for it to be removed.
3. The bedchamber should to be cleaned and tidy.
4. Permission must be taken by other family members like children let alone strangers from the spouse before getting an access into the room.This is because the room is private
That's why Allaah says in Soorah An-Noor regarding three periods for the children to be taken permission;
Meaning:
O you who have believed, let those whom your right hands possess and those who have not [yet] reached puberty among you ask permission of you [before entering] at three times: before the dawn prayer and when you put aside your clothing [for rest] at noon and after the night prayer. [These are] three times of privacy for you. There is no blame upon you nor upon them beyond these [periods], for they continually circulate among you - some of you, among others. Thus does Allāh make clear to you the verses [i.e., His ordinances]; and Allāh is Knowing and Wise.
It is not right for both spouse to host and entertain their guest in their matrimonial room, especially women
Faatimah used to take permission before entering upon the Prophet ﷺ with the fact that she was not young and his daughter.
This is not excluded on other wives when having more than one wife. The first wife MUST take permission before entering upon husband while he is with second wife.
Zaynab would seek permission before entering upon the Prophet ﷺ while he is with Aaishah in an hadeeth reported by Imaam Al-Bukhaaree
5. No woman must allow anyone enter the room without informing and having her husband's permission
The Prophet ﷺ warned the men not to let their wives bring into their homes, the room in particular whom they dislike.
In another hadeeth, it is said that the wife can be punished for breaking this rule.
There are sittingroom, even waiting-room, but a woman would take her friends to the room.
No man will want someone else to see where he sleep with his wife, even if it is her father, brother or her child.
So, no woman should allow anyone entering this room without his approval.
OUR BEDCHAMBER IS SACRED.

This is not an "advent" but "encouragement" that you too can still learn while being at home, especially when there is no available sound teacher/madrasah around you.
Recently someone was telling me that she wanted to apply for the class when started but felt reluctant but now... (3months gone already out of 6months).
Their activities have helped in sending lessons. May Allaah bless everyone efforts - the men and women - in having beneficial knowledge together with righteous deeds.

A Moment With Allaah || Don't Be Ungrateful And Boastful
In two verses, Allaah briefly described human bad-manners towards Him at the time of pleasure and adversity except whom Allaah guide to the best manners.
In Soorah Hood, 8-9;
8: وَلَىِٕنۡ أَذَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ مِنَّا رَحۡمَةࣰ ثُمَّ نَزَعۡنَـٰهَا مِنۡهُ إِنَّهُۥ لَیَـُٔوسࣱ كَفُور
Meaning: And if We give man a taste of mercy from Us and then We withdraw it from him, indeed, he is despairing and ungrateful.
After Allaah's Mercy - wealth, children, health - has been withdrawn, person would be ungrateful as if he has never been blessed in the past, and he would lose hope in Allaah that He can not return the blessings to him nor give him what is better than that.
As for a true believer in Allaah, then you are expected to be patient and hopeful in Him. That is why the Prophet ﷺ taugh us to be hopeful and prayerful for the reward of any calamity;
"If any servant (of Allaah) who suffers a calamity says:
إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ اللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي وَأَخْلِفْ لِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا
"We belong to Allaah and to Him shall we return; O Allaah, reward me for my affliction and give me something better than it in exchange for it." [Saheeh Muslim]
Verse 9;
وَلَىِٕنۡ أَذَقۡنَـٰهُ نَعۡمَاۤءَ بَعۡدَ ضَرَّاۤءَ مَسَّتۡهُ لَیَقُولَنَّ ذَهَبَ ٱلسَّیِّـَٔاتُ عَنِّیۤۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَفَرِحࣱ فَخُورٌ
But if We give him a taste of favor after hardship has touched him, he will surely say, Bad times have left me. Indeed, he is exultant and boastful.
Whenever an individual is blessed and relieved after any hardness, he would be acting as if no misfortune to come again; forgetting to be calm and grateful to Allaah.
Al-Imaam As-Si'dee [rahimahuLlaah] made a power comment here;
فرح بما أوتي مما يوافق هوى نفسه، فخور بنعم الله على عباد الله، وذلك يحمله على الأشر والبطر والإعجاب بالنفس، والتكبر على الخلق، واحتقارهم وازدرائهم، وأي عيب أشد من هذا؟
"He is happy with what he has been given that agrees with his own desires, and he is proud of Allaah's blessings upon Allaah's servants, and that leads him to evil, arrogance, self-esteem, arrogance toward creation, and contempt and disdain for them. What defect is more severe than this?"
وهذه طبيعة الإنسان من حيث هو، إلا من وفقه الله وأخرجه من هذا الخلق الذميم إلى ضده، وهم الذين صبروا أنفسهم عند الضراء فلم ييأسوا، وعند السراء فلم يبطروا، وعملوا الصالحات من واجبات ومستحبات
This is the nature of man as he is, except for those whom Allaah has guided and brought out of this bad manner to its opposite, and they are those who were patient with themselves in times of hardship and did not despair, and in times of pleasure they did not misbehave, and they did good deeds that were obligatory and desirable.
May Allaah count us among His righteous servants

📖 Marital Talk_16 || Altruism In Marital Life
🎙 Dr. Luqmaan Idress Sekoni, hafidhahuLlaah
(ALTRUISM) الإيثار as defined by scholars (like Imaam Ibn Qayyim) that it is prioritizing other's desire and interest over oneself, even when one has right to the thing. Altruism is praiseworthy inasmuch is not affecting one's obligations like Salaah.
Altruism is sign of having complete eemaan, and Allaah mentioned it to be from what the Ansaar used to relate with the muhaajiroon in Madeenah;
"And [also for] those who were settled in the Home [i.e.,al-Madīnah] and [adopted] the faith before them. They love those who emigrated to them and find not any want in their breasts of what they [i.e., the emigrants] were given but give [them] preference over themselves, even though they are in privation. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful." [سُورَةُ الحَشۡرِ: ٩]
In marital life, the altruism pays major role in building love and harmony (even in polygamous families).
Our mother Aaishah said that "Never did I find any woman more loving to me than Sawda bint Zam'a. I wished I could be exactly like her who was passionate." She gained Aaishah's heart with for making for Aaishsh over her days (i.e., giving her days for Aaishah while Aaishah had two separate days).
• Overlooking one's right sometimes in marriage do make one have happy and last marital life.
• Every woman should study her husband's interests to have happy and last marriage.
Being kind and giving preference to one's spouse without for one's right do strengthen one's family. Not every right you have to claim as this can lead to dispute and enmity.
May Allaah protect and preserve our teacher upon goodness!

First of all, Markaz Aahli-l-Athar is a center for spreading the aseptic message of Islaam through the means of teaching the masses and students of knowledge, and that's why we have online madrasah - live and pre-recorded classes - and this telegram channel for the masses whereby general matters are discussed by our elderly teachers and respected students.
With this, it is hard to see something different from the above objectives stated up there, even if it is something halaal or sunnah. If we are to do something different, it is over to the admins.
But recently, some individuals are reported and caught, especially MEN, sending private messages with (strange) women showing interest in marriage; and this is the purpose of penning this down.
Everyone needs to fear Allaah!!!
Showing interest in marriage is not the problem we have but not making it in a decent and safe manner. Marriage is not a joke matter, and how an individual would just search for it anyhow anyway?! No!!!
There is nothing wrong in reaching out to the admins on this if there is any help to render, better than doing it on our own till we wrongly message married women unknowingly.
