๐Ÿ“Lyrics:

Oh so, your wounds they show
I know you have never felt so alone
But hold on, head up, be strong
Oh hold on, hold on until you hear them come
Here they come, oh

Take an angel by the wings
Beg her now for anything
Beg her now for one more day
Take an angel by the wings
Time to tell her everything
Ask her for the strength to stay

You can, you can do anything, anything
You can do anything
You can, you can do anything, anything
You can do anything
You can, you can do anything, anything
You can do anything
You can, you can do anything, anything
You can do anything

Look up, call to the sky
Oh, look up and don't ask why, oh

Just take an angel by the wings
Beg her now for anything
Beg her now for one more day
Take an angel by the wings
Time to tell her anything
Ask her for the strength to stay

You can, you can do anything, anything
You can do anything
You can, you can do anything, anything
You can do anything
You can, you can do anything, anything
You can do anything
You can, you can do anything, anything
You can do anything

You can, you can do anything, anything
You can do anything
You can, you can do anything, anything
You can do anything
You can, you can do anything, anything
You can do anything
You can, you can do anything, anything
You can do anything

โญ๏ธNelson Mandela: โญ๏ธ

Early Life:

Nelson Mandela was a civil rights leader, who fought against apartheid, or racial discrimination against blacks, in South Africa.
Mandela was born on July 18 in South Africa in 1918. His name was Rolihlahla which meant trouble maker. When Mandela was nine years old, he was adopted by his fatherโ€™s friend. A teacher gave him the name Nelson when he was a child. Mandela studied law and opened South Africaโ€™s first black law firm.

Political Career:
Mandela joined the African National Congress (ANC) to fight against apartheid. At first, he wanted the ANC to follow Mohandas Gandhiโ€™s non violent protest methods.

After the ANC was banned in 1960, he led a secret army called โ€˜Spear of the Nation.โ€™ He traveled to other countries to ask for help. Later, he began to doubt the effectiveness of Gandhiโ€™s methods. He wanted to bomb some buildings, but not hurt anyone. The government called him a terrorist and jailed him, in 1962. He spent 27 years in prison. There was an international campaign for his release. Other countries stopped trading and playing sports with South Africa.
Finally, Mandela was released from prison in 1990. His work paid off when all races were allowed to vote in the 1994 election for the first time. He won the election and became the first black President of South Africa. He retired in 1999. He died on 5 December 2013, after a lung illness.

Achievements:
He received the Peace Prize in 1993.

Mandela has received over 695 awards. This is the maximum number of awards anyone has ever got.

On his birthday, Nelson Mandela Day, people are asked to spend 67 minutes helping others. Why 67? He spent 67 years serving South Africa.

Nelson Mandela Quotes:
1. Education is the most powerful weapon that you can use to change the world.
2. Lead from the back- and let others believe they are in front.
3. It always seems impossible until itโ€™s done.
4. There can be no keener revelation of a societyโ€™s soul than the way in which it treats its children.
5. I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it.

๐Ÿ“Lyrics:

You prolly think that you are better now, better now
You only say that 'cause I'm not around, not around
You know I never meant to let you down, let you down
Woulda gave you anything
Woulda gave you everything
You know I say that I am better now, better now
I only say that 'cause you're not around, not around
You know I never meant to let you down, let you down
Woulda gave you anything
Woulda gave you everything, oh-oh

I did not believe that it would end, no
Everything came second to the Benzo
You're not even speakin' to my friends, no
You knew all my uncles and my aunts though
Twenty candles, blow 'em out and open your eyes
We were lookin' forward to the rest of our lives
Used to keep my picture posted by your bedside
Now it's in your dresser with the socks you don't like
And I'm rollin', rollin', rollin', rollin'
With my brothers like it's Jonas, Jonas
Drinkin' Henny and I'm tryna forget
But I can't get this shit outta my head

You prolly think that you are better now, better now
You only say that 'cause I'm not around, not around
You know I never meant to let you down, let you down
Woulda gave you anything
Woulda gave you everything
You know I say that I am better now, better now
I only say that 'cause you're not around, not around
You know I never meant to let you down, let you down
Woulda gave you anything
Woulda gave you everything, oh-oh

I seen you with your other dude
He seemed like he was pretty cool
I was so broken over you
Life, it goes on, what can you do?
I just wonder what it's gonna take
Another foreign or a bigger chain
Because no matter how my life has changed
I keep on looking back on better days

You prolly think that you are better now, better now
You only say that 'cause I'm not around, not around
You know I never meant to let you down, let you down
Woulda gave you anything
Woulda gave you everything
You know I say that I am better now, better now
I only say that 'cause you're not around, not around
You know I never meant to let you down, let you down
Woulda gave you anything
Woulda gave you everything, oh-oh

I promise, I swear to you, I'll be okay
You're only the love of my life (the love of my life)

You prolly think that you are better now, better now
You only say that 'cause I'm not around, not around
You know I never meant to let you down, let you down
Woulda gave you anything
Woulda gave you everything
You know I say that I am better now, better now
I only say that 'cause you're not around, not around
You know I never meant to let you down, let you down
Woulda gave you anything
Woulda gave you everything, oh-oh

When Google Maps Wants You to Explore

Youโ€™re all dressed up and ready to visit your friendโ€™s new house. Google Maps confidently says, โ€œTurn right,โ€ so you follow its advice. A few minutes later, youโ€™re staring at an empty field with a cow chewing grass. You check your phone and blink. Apparently, this is your friendโ€™s โ€œhouse.โ€ Unless theyโ€™ve decided to live with cows, somethingโ€™s definitely off.

Google Maps has a talent for making life interesting. One moment, youโ€™re expecting a cozy cafรฉ; the next, youโ€™re parked in front of a dead-end street with no way to go. Even better, the voice calmly tells you, โ€œYouโ€™ve arrived,โ€ as if this empty, blocked street is your destination. Itโ€™s hard to stay mad when the app sounds so confidentโ€”yet so wrong.

The funniest part is how you always try to โ€œfixโ€ it by walking around in circles or refreshing the app, hoping it will magically figure things out. But it rarely does. In the end, asking a local or relying on your instincts usually saves the day. But yeah,  at least you get an unexpected adventure out of it!

๐Ÿ‘ด๐Ÿ‘ตMaking Relations Special

When I was a kid, my Mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had made dinner after a long, hard day at work. On that evening so long ago, my Mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage and extremely burned biscuits in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all dad did was reached for his biscuit, smile at my Mom and ask me how my day was at school. I donโ€™t remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that biscuit and eat every bite!

When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my Mom apologize to my dad for burning the biscuits. And Iโ€™ll never forget what he said: โ€œHoney, I love burned biscuits.โ€
Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his biscuits burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, โ€œYour Momma put in a hard day at work today and sheโ€™s real tired. And besides โ€“ a little burned biscuit never hurt anyone!โ€

Moral: Life is full of imperfect things and imperfect people. Iโ€™m not the best at hardly anything, and I forget birthdays and anniversaries just like everyone else. But what Iโ€™ve learned over the years is that learning to accept each others faults โ€“ and choosing to celebrate each others differences โ€“ is one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship.

๐Ÿ“Lyrics:

Can I call you baby?
Can you be my friend?
Can you be my lover up until the very end?
Let me show you love, oh, I don't pretend
Stick by my side even when the world is givin' in, yeah

Oh, oh, oh, don't
Don't you worry
I'll be there, whenever you want me

I need somebody who can love me at my worst
No, I'm not perfect, but I hope you see my worth
'Cause it's only you, nobody new, I put you first
And for you, girl, I swear I'll do the worst

If you stay forever, let me hold your hand
I can fill those places in your heart no else can
Let me show you love, oh, I don't pretend, yeah
I'll be right here, baby, you know I'll sink or swim

Oh, oh, oh, don't
Don't you worry
I'll be there, whenever you want me

I need somebody who can love me at my worst
No, I'm not perfect, but I hope you see my worth, yeah
'Cause it's only you, nobody new, I put you first (put you first)
And for you, girl, I swear I'll do the worst

I need somebody who can love me at my worst
No, I'm not perfect, but I hope you see my worth
'Cause it's only you, nobody new, I put you first

๐Ÿ“Lyrics:

For all the times that you rain on my parade
And all the clubs you get in using my name
You think you broke my heart, oh girl for goodness sake
You think I'm crying on my own, well I ain't

And I didn't wanna write a song
Cause I didn't want anyone thinking I still care
I don't but, you still hit my phone up
And baby I be movin' on
And I think you should be somethin'
I don't wanna hold back, maybe you should know that

My mama don't like you and she likes everyone
And I never like to admit that I was wrong
And I've been so caught up in my job, didn't see what's going on
But now I know, I'm better sleeping on my own

Cause if you like the way you look that much
Oh, baby, you should go and love yourself
And if you think that I'm still holdin' on to somethin'
You should go and love yourself

And when you told me that you hated my friends
The only problem was with you and not them
And every time you told me my opinion was wrong
And tried to make me forget where I came from

For all the times that you made me feel small
I fell in love, now I feel nothin' at all
Had never felt so low when I was vulnerable
Was I a fool to let you break down my walls?

Cause if you like the way you look that much
Oh, baby, you should go and love yourself
And if you think that I'm still holdin' on to somethin'
You should go and love yourself
Cause if you like the way you look that much
Oh, baby, you should go and love yourself
And if you think that I'm still holdin' on to somethin'
You should go and love yourself

๐Ÿ”ฏ Nelson Mandela:

Why Java Stays Crowded

Java's large population is no accident, it has a lot to do with Indonesia's history during Dutch colonization. When the Dutch ruled the country, they saw Java as the most important island because of its rich, fertile land, perfect for growing valuable crops like sugar, coffee, and tobacco. To work these plantations, the Dutch brought in many people, and Java quickly became the place to go if you wanted a job.

But it wasn't just the plantations that made Java so special, the Dutch also built roads, railways, and ports, which made it easy for people and goods to move around. Batavia (now Jakarta) became the business and political center of the Dutch East Indies, attracting more people in search of opportunities.

Even after Indonesia gained independence, Java remained a key part of the country's growth. The infrastructure and development left behind by the Dutch helped make the island a central hub for jobs, education, and city life. Today, Java continues to offer many opportunities, which is why so many people from different parts of Indonesia move there in search of a better future. With its busy cities and diverse culture, Java remains the most populated island, where people come to build a life and find new possibilities.

๐Ÿ“Lyrics:

The world can be a nasty place
You know it, I know it, yeah
See, we don't have to fall from grace
Put down the weapons you fight with

And kill 'em with kindness
Kill 'em with kindness
Kill 'em, kill 'em, kill 'em with kindness

Kill 'em with kindness
Kill 'em with kindness
Go ahead, go ahead now

We're running out of time chasing our lives
Everyday a small piece of you dies
There's aways somebody you're willing to fight, to be right

Your lies are bullets, your mouth's a gun
No war and anger was ever won
Put out the fire before igniting
Next time you're fighting

Please, kill 'em with kindness
Kill 'em with kindness
Kill 'em, kill 'em, kill 'em with kindness

Kill 'em with kindness
Kill 'em with kindness
Go ahead, go ahead now

Your lies are bullets, your mouth's a gun
No war and anger was ever won
Put out the fire before igniting
Why can't we stop fighting?

And kill 'em with kindness
Kill 'em with kindness
Kill 'em, kill 'em, kill 'em with kindness

Kill 'em with kindness
Kill 'em with kindness
Go ahead, go ahead now

Embracing Polarity Within

โ€œWithin each of us are two competing sides, a polarity of character. Only one leads to greatness.โ€
-Lolly Daskal

This is the amazing and complex duality of human consciousness. The polarity exists on every level, in all themes, in our thinking processes and actions. Being the paradoxes we are, we love and hate, yearn for belonging yet choose separation in individualism. We feel it as the tension within us between rationality and passion, appetites and discipline, liberty and duty. Though they appear to be in contention, each of these forces is here to touch upon our humanity and help us evolve.

We possess the capacity to exhibit both generosity and greed, to assist and to cause harm, to empathize and to remain indifferent. All of these are influenced by the context, our experiences, and the choices we make. This duality does not make us good or evil; it makes us a rainbow casting light and dark shadows through open spaces.

๐Ÿ”˜ Whoa

What does whoa mean?

โ—ป๏ธExpression of surprise

Whoa is a common term people use to express surprise or shock at something. You will see or hear it in messages, in emails, online, and in real life (IRL).
For example, your sister may be talking on the phone and exclaim, "Whoa! Is he OK?" when discovering your neighbor was in a car accident. Or, your mom and dad may text you an awesome birthday surprise, and you respond with, "Whoa! Amazing!" While the pronunciation is the same, people may also spell whoa as "woah."

โ“Example
Whoa! I had no idea they got engaged!
Ya, they kept it a secret for a while

*๐Ÿ”˜Five words of love๐Ÿ”˜*

Roy wondered if he had some kind of problem. Maybe he loved his wife too much. His brother asked how he could love her too much. Roy said, "About six times a day, out of the blue, I say to myself, 'I love her so much!'" Frank said that did sound a bit much. "Do you ever do that?" Roy asked. Frank said he used to, just after his wedding. "But that wasn't six times a day. And I can't remember the last time those words just popped into my head," he said. "Do you ever say you love her?" Roy said that he told his wife he loved her at least twice a day. "How long have you two been married?" Frank asked. Roy said 16 years. "You've been thinking and saying that every day for 16 years?!" Frank asked. "I'll bet she doesn't think you have a problem!"

When You Are Sick but Must Keep Working

what a terrible day you have! You wake up feeling like a shadow of yourself. Your body aches, your head spins, and all you want is to stay in bed. But here you are, forced to get up and go to work, feeling like a heavy weight is on your shoulders! Itโ€™s as if the universe has conspired to make your day as difficult as possible, and you canโ€™t help but feel a bit sorry for yourself.

Walking into the office, everything seems too loud and bright. The chatter of your coworkers feels like a thunderstorm, and the bright lights above seem to intensify your headache. Your desk is covered in tasks that look like a mountain to climb, and each one feels impossible with your foggy mind. You canโ€™t help but wish to be at home, cozy under your blankets instead of battling through the day. Each email and phone call adds to your burden, making you long for the comfort of your bed even more.

Humans: The Mammals with Wi-Fi

Weโ€™re animals? Yep, itโ€™s trueโ€”you didnโ€™t misread that! This truth is hurtful, but no tears, pleaseโ€”just grab my hand and make this as dramatic as soap opera.

We might think weโ€™re on top of the world with our phones, fancy coffee, and social media trends, but at the end of the day, weโ€™re still part of the Animalia kingdom, weโ€™re still mammals. Weโ€™re in the same big family as lions, whales, and even those mischievous monkeys stealing snacks in the park. Just like every other creature, we need food, water, and a cozy spot to rest.

Of course, weโ€™re a bit different. Humans can think deeply, make art, and worry about things like โ€œthe meaning of life.โ€ But we also have instincts, just like our animal friends. Ever get hangry? Thatโ€™s your inner bear wanting food! We may not be out hunting, but weโ€™re still surviving and thriving in our own wayโ€”through culture, technology, and ordering that perfect snack on Gofood

So, letโ€™s admit it: weโ€™re part of Earthโ€™s quirky Animalia kingdom, whether weโ€™re ordering lattes or hunting down snacks. Sure, we might drive cars and have jobs, but deep down, weโ€™re not so different from the other animals. Weโ€™re just animals with Wi-Fi and a flair for self-importance, navigating this wild world with a bit more style. Embracing our animal nature and our unique human traits can help us connect with the world around us in a more meaningful way.

Why Do We Remember Our Dreams?

Ever notice how some dreams just refuse to vanish by morning, clinging to your mind like that item in your yellow shopping cart on the marketplace that you just havenโ€™t checked out yet? Well, itโ€™s not random! Come closer, let me whisper the reason to you.

Science tells me some information they threw on Google: weโ€™re more likely to remember our dreams if we wake up right in the middle of REM sleepโ€”the stage where our brains throw their wild โ€œdream parties.โ€ So, if you wake up during this time, congratulations! Your brain just hit the โ€œsaveโ€ button on a dream thatโ€™s sure to confuse you all day long.

Author Lauren Martin, in The Book of Moods, shares a clever insight: dreams that tap into our emotions tend to linger longer. If a dream stirs up some unresolved feelings, our brain thinks, โ€œOh, this is juicyโ€”letโ€™s keep it!โ€ Itโ€™s as if your mind decides to produce a mini-drama series, complete with plot twists you never asked for. So, next time you wake up from a wacky dream, remember that your brain is like a quirky director whoโ€™s more than happy to replay scenes it thinks you need to โ€œprocess.โ€ You might not be ready for a sequel, but here we are!

Stereotypes and Their Impact on Women

Stereotypes are simple and not always true views or beliefs about certain groups, such as women. For example, women are often seen as weak, emotional, or better suited for staying at home rather than working. These beliefs limit how we see women and ignore the fact that everyone has different abilities and potential.

The impact of these stereotypes can be very significant. Many people still think that women are not good at Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, which can make women feel less confident in pursuing careers in those fields. Additionally, women often feel pressure to meet certain expectations, like being perfect homemakers. This can lead to stress and dissatisfaction with themselves.

Therefore, we need to realize that stereotypes can be harmful. They not only affect how others see women but also how women see themselves. It is important to challenge these views and value the abilities of each individual. By creating a fairer environment, we can help everyone, regardless of gender, reach their best potential.
