The pagans love this argument. They wield it like a sword against Christians, attacking both our character and our King. But here's what they miss β and what many Christians misunderstand:
Being aware that we break God's law daily is central to our faith. We strive to obey His commands fully, knowing it's an impossible task. Yet we fight this battle precisely because Christ saved us from our sin.
Yes, we try to follow God's law. And yes, sometimes we break the very commands we preach. But this isn't a flaw in our faith β it's the foundation of it.
Think about it: If we could perfectly keep God's law, why would we need a Savior? If we could achieve righteousness through our own efforts, Christ's sacrifice would be meaningless.
Our hypocrisy doesn't invalidate Christianity. It proves why we desperately need it.
