STOCK MARKETS YEARLY (NIFTY & BANKNIFTY) OUTLOOK FOR 2025 🆕🆕🆕
Last year Nifty & banknifty both traded at my exact prediction level for the entire year. Nifty opened near 21700 made high of 26200 and closed at 23650 with a gain of 8.8%. Banknifty has given 5.3% returns. Especially Nifty midcap100 & Smallcap100 has given 24% returns. Briefly we can call 2024 as an another INVESTORS year.There were lot of events took place in the last year. US inflation and Interest rate cuts. Union elections in India. Disaster kind of budget for Stock markets. US, UK, Russia elections. Global war tension etc...
Going forward, we are going to face another Eventful year in 2025, especially lot of cold war ( Tarrif war or Trade war )may happen. All of these stunts are going to be performed by Our Jackie chan Donald trump. Lots and lots of Headwinds are going to face by the Global markets. Other than these some of the important events are lined up,
1. US Inflation & Interest rate decision.
2. Trade frictions or trade war.
3. Froth in Midcap & Smallcap stocks. (Valuations fear or Earnings slowdown ).
4. Economy of China.
5. Global war fear & US recession fear. etc...
During the Trump's previous period, there were lot of trade imposed against many countries. This time Trump openly warned BRICS countries about the separate currency formation of Brics countries. If Trump sanctions trade tariffs against Brics countries, that will create hell lot of problems for global markets Mainly for US.
If tariffs imposed, then
There will be Imbalance between Demand and supply, then
US import & export will slowdown,
Then Inflation will shoot up,
Then Rate cuts may not be there as expected. This is the biggest risk we are going to face this year.
Chinese economy is slowing down in last few months. India is the largest importer of chinese goods. therefore if china slows down other countries also will face some pressure like in 2015. global war fear is there since 2022, it is likely to increase further this year.
Nifty Midcap & Smallcap have rallied so big after Covid fall. In fact Midcap100 has rallied 470% Smallcap100 has rallied 530%. Valuations are much higher as of now. Rural demand also slowed down in the last quarter which has resulted a big fall in FMCG space. one more thing, In the last 15 years Nifty FMCG has ended in negative in 2008, 2020, 2024. So clearly market is facing some Supply vs Demand issue even in the essential segments. India's Valuations premium over other countries currently stands at 70%. If china performs better than india, this premium will come down drastically.
And one more big concern for our markets is "FII selling". last calendar year they sold about 3 lac crore worth of shares, and this January itself they sold for 70,000 crores. (1/4 th of the last year selling. Structurally there seems to be some big problem. Whether Fii's will start buying on FOMO or will continue to sell thats the billion dollar question. That will set the market trend this year.
But the biggest positivity for our markets are - DII's buying and SIP inflow. Whatever the fall comes DII's always will support our markets from collapsing. And this SIP inflow is likely to slowdown in the Q4 and Q1. Till then SIP slowsdown, our markets will not fall aggressively.
So all in all, 2025 is not going to be easier for the investors.
Technically speaking, Nifty is not in a good position to go higher. This year opened at 23600, now trading close to 23000. Upside there are lot of Resistances at 24000, 24800 25200. Supports are at 22600, 21300.
21200/300 below market will give some wild move towards 20,000, 18600 levels.
Banknifty opened at 50800 level, upside resistances are 51,000, 53,000, 55,000. Supports at 46,000, 42,000. Banknifty will enter into bear territory if breaches 42,000 mark.

STOCK MARKETS YEARLY (NIFTY & BANKNIFTY) OUTLOOK FOR 2025 🆕🆕🆕
Last year Nifty & banknifty both traded at my exact prediction level for the entire year. Nifty opened near 21700 made high of 26200 and closed at 23650 with a gain of 8.8%. Banknifty has given 5.3% returns. Especially Nifty midcap100 & Smallcap100 has given 24% returns. Briefly we can call 2024 as an another INVESTORS year.There were lot of events took place in the last year. US inflation and Interest rate cuts. Union elections in India. Disaster kind of budget for Stock markets. US, UK, Russia elections. Global war tension etc...
Going forward, we are going to face another Eventful year in 2025, especially lot of cold war ( Tarrif war or Trade war )may happen. All of these stunts are going to be performed by Our Jackie chan Donald trump. Lots and lots of Headwinds are going to face by the Global markets. Other than these some of the important events are lined up,
1. US Inflation & Interest rate decision.
2. Trade frictions or trade war.
3. Froth in Midcap & Smallcap stocks. (Valuations fear or Earnings slowdown ).
4. Economy of China.
5. Global war fear & US recession fear. etc...
During the Trump's previous period, there were lot of trade imposed against many countries. This time Trump openly warned BRICS countries about the separate currency formation of Brics countries. If Trump sanctions trade tariffs against Brics countries, that will create hell lot of problems for global markets Mainly for US.
If tariffs imposed, then
There will be Imbalance between Demand and supply, then
US import & export will slowdown,
Then Inflation will shoot up,
Then Rate cuts may not be there as expected. This is the biggest risk we are going to face this year.
Chinese economy is slowing down in last few months. India is the largest importer of chinese goods. therefore if china slows down other countries also will face some pressure like in 2015. global war fear is there since 2022, it is likely to increase further this year.
Nifty Midcap & Smallcap have rallied so big after Covid fall. In fact Midcap100 has rallied 470% Smallcap100 has rallied 530%. Valuations are much higher as of now. Rural demand also slowed down in the last quarter which has resulted a big fall in FMCG space. one more thing, In the last 15 years Nifty FMCG has ended in negative in 2008, 2020, 2024. So clearly market is facing some Supply vs Demand issue even in the essential segments. India's Valuations premium over other countries currently stands at 70%. If china performs better than india, this premium will come down drastically.
And one more big concern for our markets is "FII selling". last calendar year they sold about 3 lac crore worth of shares, and this January itself they sold for 70,000 crores. (1/4 th of the last year selling. Structurally there seems to be some big problem. Whether Fii's will start buying on FOMO or will continue to sell thats the billion dollar question. That will set the market trend this year.
But the biggest positivity for our markets are - DII's buying and SIP inflow. Whatever the fall comes DII's always will support our markets from collapsing. And this SIP inflow is likely to slowdown in the Q4 and Q1. Till then SIP slowsdown, our markets will not fall aggressively.
So all in all, 2025 is not going to be easier for the investors.
Technically speaking, Nifty is not in a good position to go higher. This year opened at 23600, now trading close to 23000. Upside there are lot of Resistances at 24000, 24800 25200. Supports are at 22600, 21300.
21200/300 below market will give some wild move towards 20,000, 18600 levels.
Banknifty opened at 50800 level, upside resistances are 51,000, 53,000, 55,000. Supports at 46,000, 42,000. Banknifty will enter into bear territory if breaches 42,000 mark.

MSEI has issued 119 crore shares at ₹1/- nominal value with a ₹1/- premium, aiming to raise ₹238 crore. Key investors include Billionbrains Garage Ventures (Groww), RainMatter Investments (backed by Zerodha), Share India Securities, and Securocrop Securities.
Speculation is rife about the return of SX40, MSEI’s primary index, and the launch of F&O contracts.
This could also mean three weekly expiry for traders since SEBI has restricted one weekly expiry per exchange.
Speculation On Have over the years sold Msei around 1-1.50 range now current price spiked to 4.50-5 range. Patience paying off finally.
