December Equity MF Inflows - Up by 14.5% 📈📊💰

Equity mutual fund inflows surged 14.5% over the last month to ₹41,155.91 crore in December. 📊💰

The monthly inflows through SIPs stood at ₹26,000 crore level for the first time in December. The SIP contribution during the month stood at ₹26,459 crore against ₹25,320 crore in November. 📈

Inflows into open-ended equity funds have remained positive for the last 46 consecutive months. ‼️

Inflows into Sectoral/Thematic Equity Funds witnessed a substantial MoM growth, reaching ₹15,331.54 crore in December and this notable increase was primarily driven by the successful launch of 12 new fund offerings (NFOs), which garnered investor subscriptions totalling ₹11,337 crore. 🧐👀

SRF, Navin Fluorine Surges 📈❄️💰

SRF is up over 13% as the US gas distributors announced a price hike for refrigerant gases. IGas USA said that the supply of R32 and R125 has been impacted and prices will be increased by up to 200%. 📊

Massive, massive hike in revenues!!! ‼️

It is to be noted that note said that every $1 per kilogram change in realisations of the R32 refrigerant could increase SRF's EBITDA by ₹260 crore. SRF has an overall capacity of 29,000 to 30,000 tonnes of the R32. The R32 refrigerant is used in air conditioning and low-temperature refrigeration systems. 💰🥶❄️

At the same time, Navin Fluorine is also up by 13%, and even they have close to 4,500 tonnes capacity of R32. The company also expects to add another 4,500 tonnes of capacity of the R32 by next month. For Navin Fluorine every $1 per kilogram change in realisations of the R32 gas can improve Navin Fluorine's EBITDA by ₹77 crore. 💰🌬️
