The pie charts compare water use for three purposes across six regions globally. Overall, while industry used the biggest amount of water in both North America and Europe, in other regions, water went to predominantly the field of agriculture. Notably, domestic water use figure was consistently smaller in all mentioned areas.

In both North America and Europe, industry was responsible for around half of all used water, accounting for 48% and 53% relatively. Behind this was agriculture, with relatively 39% in North America and 32% in Europe. However, domestic water use figure was the smallest in both regions, accounting for around 14%.

By contrast, other areas worldwide used water mainly for agriculture, and this figure was over 80% for Africa, Central and South East Asia, but it was around 10% smaller in South America, standing at 71%. While Africa and two regions of Asia spent tiny amounts of water at homes, it was bigger in South America, being the second main water consumer with 19%. As for industry, around 10% of water was used in all these areas apart from Central Asia, where this figure was even smaller, just 5%.

Due to global problems, it is becoming important for countries to have well-established relationships. I totally agree with this opinion as it would encourage further developments in global stability, sustainable environment and thriving economy.

Good relationships between nations would first ensure the global peace. Most conflicts among countries usually arise when they do not understand and respect their neighboring countryโ€™s internal decisions and policies. If any nation tries to interfere with the internal affairs of another country, this would certainly lead to cross-border conflicts. A good example would be the war between Russia and Ukraine, which could have been avoided if they had had better mutual understanding.

Another benefit would be sustainable solutions of environmental problems. Most climate problems such as global warming, deforestation and water scarcity are cross-border problems, requiring togetherness of the whole world. For example, if all countries agree to cut down producing greenhouse gas emissions by even 10%, this would slow down air pollution significantly worldwide.

Economical development is another advantage that all countries would benefit equally. Countries tend to be rich in different products and natural resources. Having a friendly relationship between two countries would let entrepreneurs from both sides to export and import goods, thus developing their business and creating more job opportunities for local people. In this way, any nation could develop and get stronger economically.

In conclusion, there are many problems on global scale that we have to deal with. However, having a good relationship with other countries would play an important role in tackling them.

The pie charts compare two towns in terms of how many people worked in three different sectors, focusing on two years: 1960 and 2010.

Overall, the percentage of people working in the field of service exhibited a rising tendency over this time in both towns. Notably, the figure of manufacturing represented only decline during this time.

Examining the figures of town A in 1960, manufacturing ranked first in employing people with 41%, which was closely followed by sales and service with respective figures of 30% and 29%. By 2010, while the share of service saw a sharp increase, reaching 64%, the figures of other two sectors declined to 20% for manufacturing and 16% for sales.

Turning to town B, a vast majority of people (a staggering 70%) were employed in manufacturing in 1960. Although this percentage fell to 53% in 2010, it remained as the highest among three. As for sales and service, they started at respective 20% and 10%. However, both saw a rise to 25% and 22% relatively by 2010.

As the nations worldwide are becoming more and more cooperative, there are different views about its benefits. I personally believe that this trend would be equally beneficial for both international trade and environmental protection.

On the one hand, it is undeniable that good relationship between countries usually promote a thriving business across the borders because of several reasons. One of them is that when two countries reach an agreement of business partnership, they are bound to offer various reduced taxing tolls for the products that business owners are trading from both sides. This would encourage more business companies to sign contracts with their international partners, ensuring their long-term existence in the market. A simplified export and import system would be another advantage for cross-border businesses. Good relationships between nations also mean that business owners no longer have to fill in a wide variety of documents before importing or exporting products. A good example of this would be the European Union countries, in all of which no legal documentations are carried out while products are crossing the border. Due to these two factors - smaller taxes and the absence of border bureaucracy - the economy would potentially flourish, which would benefit both the government and local population.

On the other hand, such cooperation would also benefit the environment at the same level. Most environmental issues, such as global warming and natural disasters, have not appeared because of just one nation, but they are the result of carelessness made by almost all countries worldwide. Because of this, combating them would be much easier and more effective if more nations are involved in by working together. For example, if all nations worldwide agree on just 10% reduction in the amount of greenhouse gas emissions being produced by them, this would certainly slow down global warming and reduce air pollution significantly. In addition, above-mentioned problems have developed so excessively that not a single country worldwide is capable of mitigating them alone. Looking at the example of world oceans, if a specific country is trying to protect marine animals while another one is poaching them actively, this could highly likely end up with a failure due to lacking mutual understanding. Considering all these, international understanding and working together are also important for a sustainable environment.

In conclusion, good relationship between nations is more essential than ever before to promote better business partnership and protect the environment more efficiently.

People have different views about how to succeed in career. While some believe that getting a job right after school is more beneficial, it seems to me that higher education can guarantee a better career development.

Landing a job after school may look attractive for several reasons. One main reason is that being employed could certainly provide the person with a chance to gain practical experience. For example, a waiter might learn several soft skills, such as communication, team-working and problem-solving while working in a restaurant. However, many university graduates usually leave the higher education without these valuable skills. Another advantage would be earning the salary. When a school-leaver starts making money, they might invest in personal development by attending various courses. In this way, they will likely increase their chance of getting a better job later in life.

On the other hand, I firmly believe that university education provides students with better and more job opportunities. Firstly, universities offer specialized knowledge and qualifications, which are required in certain jobs. When a student wants to be a doctor or a lawyer, it is almost impossible for them to get a job in these fields without university qualification. In addition, by learning from the lectures and seminars, students would certainly feel confident and outperform others without university knowledge at work. Secondly, university diploma is likely to make any candidate more competitive than others in the job market. The reason is that employers usually require job candidates to have appropriate qualifications for the job.

In conclusion, despite possible benefits of working after finishing school, I would argue that studying at university or college helps us more improve our career.

One primary advantage of participating in unpaid work would be a more attractive resume, which may help young people get a better job. Active participation in voluntary work usually means the person has accumulated enough experience in working together with a team and solving a wide variety of challenges. This is usually required from any job applicant to have while HR manager is conducting a job interview.

Peopleโ€™s contribution to improve their local society would be another positive side. Voluntary work, such as taking care of elderly or disabled people without caretaker, or cleaning the city of rubbish, would greatly improve neighborhood, making it a better place to live in. Moreover, this act of kindness would possibly foster a feeling of belonging among residents, encouraging them to work, study and live in harmony.

Considering the minuses, possibly reduced quality of work is the main one among many. As mentioned above, most volunteers take part in unpaid work with the purpose of enriching and making their CV more attractive to the employer. Due to this, instead of working carefully and meeting the requirements, many unpaid workers may hurry up to finish the work quickly, reducing the quality in this way.

Moreover, I believe that voluntary activities are waste of valuable resources, such as time and energy, for young adults. The age at around 20 is the prime time to take part in training, extra courses and learn new skills like foreign languages and computer literacy. Unless they do so, moving up the career ladder might get too challenging later in life.

In conclusion, the act of working free would be beneficial for both the society and young people. However, the problems that will accompany are more significant than the benefits.

It has been suggested that all young adults should be required to undertake a period of unpaid work helping people in the community.
Would the drawbacks of such a requirement be greater than the benefits to the community and the individual young adults?

Learning a foreign language usually offers several benefits for the learner. Better job prospects would be the primary one. Currently most companies are doing business internationally, which means a high demand for the employees with two-language knowledge. Another advantage would be a wider horizon that usually comes with learning second language. During the process of learning new languages, learners would be exposed to that specific nationโ€™s culture, traditions and rituals. In this way, they would become a person with a broader cultural understanding and a more open-minded perspective. One more merit could be a stronger memory. Learning an additional language requires memorizing many new words and grammatical structures, which services as a constant exercise for the brain, sharpening and strengthening memory.

The bar chart compares the amount of spending on three categories across five age groups in the UK in 2004.

Overall, while people under 30 spent more money on restaurants/hotels, for those over 31, food/drink and entertainment cost more. Notably, as people aged, their total expenditure on these three categories also rose significantly.

People aging under 30 allocated the biggest amount of money to restaurants and hotels, almost 15% of the total spending. This share was almost two times as high as the percentages of food/drink and entertainment, around 6% and 7% relatively.

Examining middle age groups (31-45 and 46-60), food/drink was the main expenditure in both age demographics, costing roughly 14% of total spending for the people between 31 and 45 and about 17% for those aging 46-60. As for other two categories, while the share of restaurant/hotel was the same in both groups, standing at around 12%, entertainmentโ€™s percentage was about 8% for the former and almost 15% for the latter groups.

Turning to the oldest age groups, entertainment was the primary spending for the people aging 61-75, taking almost 25% of total spending, which was closely followed by food/drink with 20%. The reverse was true for the senior citizens over 76 , with almost 25% for food/drink and around 13% for entertainment. One similarity between is that both of them spent the least money on restaurants/hotels, standing under 10% each.

I would probably estimate this essay to be around 8.0 in real exam condition. I will later share another version scoring AT LEAST 9.0 score ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜Ž
