Between the pothole repairs and police presence in westgate st.james alone, helped ease the traffic congestion yesterday during rush hour in the city.
There were road repairs also carried out in Rose Hall, Freeport & sections of Howard Cooke Blvd. More repairs are needed but it is clear Road repairs are a Major Factor in causing Traffic in St.James.
Another factor causing traffic are unnecessary traffic lights especially the ones too close to each other.
The traffic light at westgate should remain off as well as the traffic lights between King St. And Glendevon. They actually cause more traffic and accidents that help@the situation.

Workers allege the treatment by the General Managers and Admin is unbearable and the payment arrangements make it even worst.
Seen here in the post are the opinions and accusations of current workers at multiple foreign owned hotels.

Be careful walking through the crowds of people on the sidewalk on the Hipstrip Montego Bay at night.
Groups of women and men surrounding unsuspecting people distracting victims and picking their pockets and bags every weekend.
This is not a new situation. Been happening for a while now every weekend.
When the victims try to confront the thieves they are threatened with knives like the one seen in the hand of one of the alleged culprits in the video & other weapons.
Victims mostly tourists, Single Men in particular with the occasional female victim like the one seen pleading for her phone in this video.
Hipstrip is no longer safe. Too many vendors on the sidewalks in front of the clubs as well. Makes situations harder to see.
