Mount Merapi has erupted again. The ash column was thick grey and heading north. The eruption, which occurred at about 07:10 a.m., sent volcanic ash 700 meters above the summit. The volcanic activity was recorded on the seismogram with a maximum amplitude of 30.3 millimeters and lasted 36 seconds.
According to data from the magma.bpptkg page, there has been an increase in the number of avalanche-type earthquakes on Mount Merapi.

Due to severe lightning and hail near Kharagpur district, there were problems with electricity in Kalaikunda, Nimpura, Hijli and Gokulpur districts. A tree fell on the pantograph of the Coromandel Express locomotive. Due to which the train could not pass temporarily. The wind tore down poles, trees, metal structures. No casualties were reported.

Tornado and flooding caused severe damage to Pretoria.
A devastating tornado hit the Montana area north of Pretoria on Tuesday evening, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. The incident was initially reported as flooding by the Emergency Communications Centre.
The storm caused significant damage to vehicles and buildings. Trees were knocked down, roofs were torn off, and sheets of corrugated iron were scattered around the area due to the strong wind.
Eyewitnesses to the incident were shocked by what happened.
The storm left dozens of homes severely damaged by strong winds and heavy rainfall, leaving many without power and facing collapsed roofs, broken fences and flooded streets.
At least 15 families were evacuated.

On the morning of February 15, an earthquake measuring 6.4 points (the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center later assigned the earthquake a magnitude of 5.7) occurred. It was recorded 1.3 kilometers southeast of the settlement of Beltir in the Kosh-Agach district. As a result of the earthquake, one of the region's schools sustained minor damage. The area affected by the earthquake extended over a radius of 50 kilometers. The earthquake was felt throughout the Altai Republic. A temporary power outage was recorded in part of the village of Kosh-Agach. A high alert regime was declared, all classes and mass events were cancelled. According to locals, the earthquake was felt on the third, 10th and higher floors. Tremors were felt in Chemal and Maima in the Altai Republic, Zarinsk in the Altai Territory, in Gorno-Altaisk there was "noticeable shaking", and furniture was shaking in Barnaul.

The fire near Mallin Ahogado in Rio Negro, Argentina, has been burning since January 30.
