Paraphayngeal space is a potential space contains carotid sheath: ( IJV / Carotid artery "بأنواعه حسب الlevel "/ sympathatic chain / last 4 cranial nerves )
Boundaries of paraphaynegeal space laterally : superficial layer of deep cervical facia covering
1.pterygois muscle <so trismus happens in peritonsillar abcess too >
2.deep lobe of parotid < so DD of parapharyngeal space masses is deep lobe parotid tumor * Dumbel shaped mass* >
Facia covering superior constrictor muscle = buccopharyngeal facia
