Rapper A$AP Rocky was found not guilty of shooting at his former friend, A$AP Relli, during a 2021 incident in Hollywood. After about three hours of deliberation, Los Angeles jurors cleared him of two felony assault charges.
If convicted, he could have faced over 24 years in prison. He had previously rejected a plea deal that included jail time and probation. After the verdict, he thanked the jury for “saving my life.”
Relli, whose real name is Terell Ephron, claimed Rocky shot at him during an argument, with one bullet grazing his hand. However, Rocky’s defense argued that the gun was a prop used in a music video and could not fire real bullets.
