WIUT’s Jessup Team is heading to International Rounds!

WIUT’s Commercial Law students participated in the National Rounds of the Jessup Competition held in Almaty from February 14th to 18th. WIUT Jessup Team has successfully qualified to represent Uzbekistan in the upcoming International Rounds in Washington, USA.

Jessup is the world's largest moot court competition. Teams from Law Schools around the world compete in a simulation of a fictional dispute between countries before the United Nations’ International Court of Justice.

WIUT’s team will be competing against 140 law school teams from across the globe.

Congratulations to our law students Islombek Ismatov, Niyozov Javokhirbek, Mariya Sattieva Aziza Akhmedova, Farangiz Olimova, and their coaches Meyirbek Abdikadirov, Dilshodbek Orifjonov, Yashwant Sanjenbam and Sarthak Raj! We wish them the best of luck as they represent Uzbekistan and WIUT on the international stage.
