about the role
we are seeking an experienced regional business development lead to drive growth and strategic partnerships within the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry. this role is ideal for a proactive and results-driven individual with a strong network in the crypto ecosystem and fluency in both english and chinese.
key responsibilities:
business growth & strategy: develop and execute regional business development strategies to expand market share and user adoption.
partnership development: identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships with key industry players, including institutional clients, payment providers, and blockchain projects.
market expansion: lead the regional go-to-market strategy, identifying new opportunities for expansion and customer acquisition.
client relationship management: build and maintain strong relationships with vip clients, institutional traders, and key stakeholders.
revenue generation: drive revenue growth through innovative business models, partnership agreements, and trading volume increases.
regulatory awareness: stay updated on local regulations and compliance requirements to ensure smooth operations within the region.
cross-functional collaboration: work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align business development initiatives with company goals.
industry representation: represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
requirements:
experience: minimum 3–5 years in business development, sales, or partnerships within a crypto exchange, blockchain, fintech, or trading firm.
industry knowledge: strong understanding of cryptocurrency trading, defi, and blockchain technology.
language skills: fluency in english and chinese (mandarin) is mandatory for seamless communication with global and regional stakeholders.
negotiation & sales skills: proven track record of closing high-value deals and partnerships.
network: strong connections within the crypto and blockchain space, including institutional clients, traders, and payment partners.
analytical skills: ability to analyze market trends, user behavior, and business performance to drive decision-making.
adaptability: ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving industry with a startup mindset.
preferred qualifications
experience in launching crypto products or expanding exchanges into new markets.
familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the crypto space.
existing relationships with institutional investors and market makers.
