Nifty went down by 0.05% and Bank nifty went up by 0.98%

NIFTY ANALYSIS

Nifty again struggling to break the resistance of 23000

Support at 22800 and resistance at 23000 and above

PCR is 0.7 overall and 0.73 around ATM which is neutral to weak

OI of Nifty 50 Futures is up by 1.27% and there is Short Buildup in Nifty Futures

View is still same that is neutral to bearish and if nifty crosses resistance we can look into it

BANK NIFTY ANALYSIS

Bank nifty formed a bullish engulfing candle but bnf is still below its resistance of 49700 – 49800 range

OI of Nifty Bank Futures is down by -2.93% and there is Short Covering in Nifty bank Futures

View is neutral to bearish till it breaks its resistance zone

Nifty went down by 0.06% and Bank Nifty went down by 0.24%

NIFTY ANALYSIS

Nifty tried to go up but after 1PM there was selling pressure and all the gain of the day wiped out and nifty closed neutral

Early to say anything from the open interest, it will build up today and we have to check it between the market- PCR is 0.7 around ATM and overall, which is neutral

Support at 23000 and 22800

Resistance at 23200 and above

OI of Nifty 50 Futures is down by -1.98% and there is Long Unwinding in Nifty Futures

After yesterday price action looks there is more downside left and view is same as earlier that is neutral to bearish

BANK NIFTY ANALYSIS

Yesterday Kotak bank went up but other banks did not support BNF and nifty bank closed in red

OI of Nifty Bank Futures is up by 1.63% and there is Short Buildup in Nifty Bank Futures

View in BNF is neutral to bearish

What a volatile day in the market, Nifty went down by 0.12% and Bank Nifty went up by 0.15% yesterday

Nifty went down by more than 250 points then recovered and formed a long legged doji, there will be some pause in the nifty and after that there will be direction in the market

Some support at 23000 and 22800

Resistance at 23300 and above

PCR is 0.6 overall and 0.84 around ATM which is neutral to bearish

OI of Nifty 50 Futures is up by 0.87% and there is Short Buildup in Nifty Futures

No change in view, view is still bearish but there can be pause

BANK NIFTY ANALYSIS

Bank nifty also formed a long legged doji below its resistance which shows it can continue its downward trend

OI of Nifty Bank Futures is down by -2.72% and there is Short Covering in Nifty Bank futures

View is sideways in bank nifty until it takes a direction

What a fall in nifty, as we are tracking, it already shown that it can go down and yesterday it fell badly, on last Tuesday it shot up around 250 points and yesterday on Tuesday it went down around 300 points

PCR is 0.5 overall and 1.02 around ATM— around ATM there is some strength otherwise it is weak

Support at 23000 and 22800

Resistance at 23300 and 23500

OI of Nifty 50 Futures is up by 1.48% and there is Short Buildup in Nifty Futures

No change in view till a support or reversal emerges

BANK NIFTY ANALYSIS

Bank nifty also fell more than 1% and it can go further down

OI of Nifty Bank Futures is up by 14.96% and there is Short Buildup in Nifty Bank futures

Reliance is down more than 25% from recent all time High.
Results will be on Thursday, after market hours.
In order to squeeze the short sellers, reliance may make some positive announcement, like JIO IPO.
If you take some bullish view now, one can buy 1260CE and sell 1300CE, they are the strikes which are very active today.
Maximum loss is about Rs 5000, maximum profit is about Rs 15000.

Who wants to do long term investment. For those.

IOC:
(i) 30% down from its recent high,
(ii) More than 8% dividend yield,
(iii) Trading closer to its book value,
(iv) Return on Equity as well as Return on Capital Deployed is more than 20%.

In high valued markets like this, you rarely get this kind of value stocks.

But it is a PSU stock, downside may be limited but upside may also be limited. If Dividend is more than FD return, why should one worry about Capital appreciation?

ITC HOTELS ( DEMERGED ENTITY) IN FOCUS

EFFECTIVE DATE 1 JAN

Following the demerger, ITC shareholders will own a 60% stake in the hotel company, including BAT’s 15.27% share.

ITC will retain a 40% stake in the newly formed entity.

In Sept 2024 , British American Tobacco ( BAT )'s Marroco stated that BAT has no intention of remaining shareholders in ITC Hotels and plans to sell when the timing is right.

ITC shareholders get 1 ITC Hotels share for every 10 ITC Ltd shares.
