Today, Hazara girls continue to pursue education despite numerous challenges. In Afghanistan, even with Taliban restrictions, many young girls attend secret classes to keep learning. In Pakistan, security threats and inequality make education difficult, but families strive to support their daughters. In Iran, Hazara refugees fight for their right to study. The obstacles are significant, but their determination is even stronger. With every book they open and every lesson they attend, they take one step closer to a brighter future.

The Kruszyniany Mosque in Kruszyniany, Poland, is the oldest Lipka Tatar mosque in the country. The town of Kruszyniany was granted to the Tatars who fought alongside the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth during their wars against the Ottoman Empire. After the Lipka Tatars settled in the area, they constructed this mosque, likely in the late 18th century, although some historical documents trace its mention back to 1717. Following World War II, the village became home to repatriates and Belarusian Muslims who further contributed to the areaโ€™s Muslim community.

๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ธ - Switzerland and Serbia both offer to host Putin-Trump meeting.

The offers from Bern and Belgrade come as US President-elec. Donald Trump seeks to convince Russian President Vladimir Putin to end his war in Ukraine.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vuฤiฤ‡ said that his country would be an โ€œextremely suitableโ€ venue for such a meeting between Trump and Putin because of both men's popularity there.

In ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ฟKazakh culture, jewelry and ornaments are not just accessories but symbols of identity, status, and spiritual protection; especially silver bracelets , large gemstone rings (juzik), dangling earrings (sirga), and hair ornaments (sholpa) are essential for women, while silver belt buckles (beldik) and embroidered headdresses (saukele, takiya) are key elements of traditional attire; today, Kazakh designers are reinterpreting these ethnic jewels with modern touches, preserving cultural heritage while bringing Kazakh aesthetics into contemporary fashion.

Is your soul made of fire, nor are your eyes made of flame?
I don't know, how this volcano has flamed up with the ember.
Can a lover hide from that flame?
Since you wanted, this heart has flamed up unwillingly.

Your moonlit face may make God jealous,
This beauty cannot be made up of the poem.
Both reaching you and being away from you is hard,
It is a game of the heart, nor can't the gorgeousness be seen...

โš ๏ธA few days ago, there were reports that hundreds of Turkish babies were killed in a Kurdish-run hospital in Turkey. The Kurds were torturing and k*lling Turkish babies.

They k*lled some babies and sterilized some babies.

Some k*rds mock m*rdered babies on social media.

It's unbelievable. The Turkish people are very angry.

Europe wanted Tรผrkiye to abolish the death penalty so that it could join the European Union. (Tรผrkiye is still not a member of the European Union.) Since Turkey is governed by democracy, criminals will not be executed.

๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ท On Alaykoskรผ Street in the Cagaloglu district of Istanbul, Turkey, thereโ€™s a building that reveals the cityโ€™s layered past. At the base are Byzantine columns from a cistern built around 550 AD, during the reign of Emperor Justinian.

Above that is a Roman arch, likely from the 4th century AD, representing the cityโ€™s earlier Roman history. Higher up, an Ottoman stone wall from the 1700s reflects the cityโ€™s imperial era.

Finally, the upper floors, made of baked brick from the 1920s, mark the early years of the Turkish Republic. This building serves as a 1,500-year timeline of Istanbulโ€™s rich history, showcasing the blend of cultures and empires that shaped the city into the crossroads of civilizations it remains today.

Sunday and four generations wear their Spreewald Festtagstracht. Sunday or festive costume, with embroidered and artistically folded "Hauben" as their bonnets.
Traditional Trachten from Spreewald in Brandenburg.
Each village has a different variation, and this family's Tracht belongs to Raddusch, (sorbisch Raduลก), a village of 670 people. It is 728 years old officially but the settlement history is much older, Slawenburg Raddusch, Slavic castle Raddusch, is over 1000.
Tracht is rarely "every day" wear now, but still worn on Sundays, and at all types of celebrations and festivals. Including weddings, when the bride has an especially elaborate version.
Photo credit: The photo is by Peter Becker, an expert on all things Spreewald who lives in Vetschau, Spreewald. Not only taking photos but also publishing books, and calendars, covering the region. Past and present.

Mฤฑhlama/Kuymak ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ท

Kuymak is a dish native to the Black Sea Region, from Samsun to Ardahan, namely Ordu, Giresun, GรผmรผลŸhane, Trabzon, Rize, Bayburt, Artvin, ร‡orum, Sivas, Tokat, Amasya, and the Oltu, ฤฐspir and Tortum districts of Erzurum. It is also very popular in Georgia, Dagestan, Azerbaijan and some parts of the Caucasus. It is the name of a corn porridge made with corn flour, butter, and salted curd (in some regions string cheese or water cheese) usually called minci.

Etymology ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ”Ž

It is cognate with the Old Turkish words โ€œkuymaโ€ for cast (iron) or cast bread, lavaลŸ. This word is cognate with the Mongolian words โ€œqoymagโ€ for katmer, gรถzleme. It is also used to describe barley and wheat porridges prepared without cheese in other regions of Anatolia. In the central parts of Trabzon, Erzurum, GรผmรผลŸhane, Bayburt, Ardahan-Posof and in the interior of Artvin, it is called kuymak; in Ordu, Tokat, Sivas, Giresun and west of Trabzon, it is called โ€œyaฤŸlaลŸโ€ (oily soup); in the east of Trabzon, on the coast of Rize and Artvin, it is called muhlama; in ร‡orum, it is called sรผndรผrme because it is made without corn flour, with butter and curd and sรผndรผrme. Apart from these names, which are all Turkish, it is also known as havits in the Greek-speaking villages of Trabzon and in the ร‡amlฤฑhemลŸin district of Rize. If it is prepared using kaymak instead of butter, it is called โ€œyayla kuymaฤŸฤฑโ€ in Trabzon and HoลŸmerim in Rize.

If stale cornbread is used by crumbling it instead of corn flour, it is called cumur, รงumur or zumur according to the local dialects.

The word โ€œร‡รผrรผkโ€ is also called kuymak; the stage of adding cheese to the dish is also called โ€œpeyniri รผrรผtmekโ€.

Great nations do great things.

Victory belongs to the one who can say, โ€™Victory is mine'. Success, on the other hand, belongs to the one who can start by saying โ€˜I will succeedโ€™ and eventually say โ€˜I have succeededโ€™.
