consider yourself lucky that you have opportunity to fight for a seat in UPSC CSE ( if you have attempted/ will attempt)

For educational qualification for IFoS- upsc no doubt is using confusing statement ( in the form )
As per notification:

A candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree
with at least one of the subjects namely
Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science,
Botany,
Chemistry,
Geology,
Mathematics,
Physics,
Statistics and Zoology
or

a Bachelor's degree in
Agriculture,
Forestry
or in
Engineering

Graduate with atleast one of the following subjects jo mentioned hai

Bachelor degree in agriculture

Bachelor degree in forestry

Bachelor degree in engineering

Now in online form they are using it like-
bachelor degree with atleast ____ as one of the subject

Jiska meaning different nikal k arha h ...
Ask upsc for any doubt

But as per notification it should be a graduate degree in the subject as mentioned after "namely"..... The usage of atleast one of the subject is thr from all the subjects mentioned thr ..not from graduation subjects,,

But still if you have atleast any subject mentioned as one of the subject in your degree you can ask upsc or can fill it abhi jab tak unka reply na aaye

Yes group A posts are better thn Group B posts

but this statement is incomplete

for same cadre its better ,, most imp is job profile

no use of giving IPoS prefence over DANICS

especially if you are from north india or specifically from Delhi.
In my opinion it deserves to be in Top 10

DANICs is equivalent to state PCS SDM and even better as yiu will be recruited through civil service only
work profile woukd be of an IAS ie SDM
and locations would be Delhi , andeman nicobar...
just one drawback is initially grade pay would be 4800 and thn 5400 after fee year

but eventually IAS cadre mil jata h 15-18 years

for an IAS best service span is as SDM and DM,, DANICS mein max time yhi rhta h
choose wisely

As ESE mains dates have been revised and it's now after 30th june( second half of the calendar)

The age cut-off date of the advertisement should have been revised from 1st Jan to 1st August 2025...along with extension of application

Jo ineligible ho rha h wo representation bhej skta h as its a rule in UPSC
The cutoff dates of any exam ( age cut-off date) is decided by the dates of mains exam
If it falls before 30th june the cutoff date automatically 1st JAN bnti hai
And if it falls after 30th June cutoff date 1st August bnti hai for calculation of AGE

Due to same reason as CSE ka mains badme he ata h ( 2nd half) to 1st August hoti h
And jab advertisement aai thi ESE ki mains 25th June tha to 1st Jan thi...now it's not the case
