Congratulations to all those who qualified. And those who couldn’t make it, it is not the end of the journey. Your lives are much bigger than UPSC. It was just a exam that you couldn’t qualify.
Those who have qualified, I urge you not to be complacent. As WAR IS NOT OVER YET. Though you have proved your mettle that you are something, but it is yet to be acknowledged in the form of the final result. You can devote you next 2-3 days in celebration for the achievement, but then you must come back to win the final war which is the interview.  As, UPSC these days give much lesser time for interview preparation and practice. My suggestion to you is not to take it lightly. AS THE INTERVIEW CAN IMPROVE YOUR RANK, AND IT CAN ALSO TAKE YOU OUT OF THE RACE. Those, who have reached this stage, with a bad performance in mains as per their thinking, you must understand that UPSC has acknowledged your efforts. So, if you can do good in interview, you will make in the final list. So, friends don’t loose hope and fight the war with full force. DONT UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF A COMMON MAN (YOU) – CREDIT – SHARUKH KHAN (CHENNAI EXXPRESS) . WHO KNOWS, YOUR INTERVIEW MARKS WILL GET YOU IN THE FINAL LIST.
And those, who couldn’t make it. I urge you to take a PAUSE, RETHINK THE MISTAKES WHICH YOU DID LAST YEAR AND DON’T REPEAT THE SAME NEXT YEAR. For some, this journey is long even 5 or 6 or 7 years too. And for some, it takes 2 or 3 or 4 attempts. So, it is a part of journey. PEOPLE WILL GET SELECTED WHEN THEIR TIME ZONE WILL COME BUT IT WILL ONLY COME WHEN YOU WILL REMAIN FIRM LIKE A ROCK. I know, it is really heart breaking. For me too, whenever I failed, it was like a disastrous event for my last 1 year preparation but then, who have always won. FAILURE IS THE PART AND PARCEL OF LIFE. Moreover, you have already an edge, you already have qualified prelims atleast once (that is why you could wrote mains) and even you have the experience of handling the pressure of paper in real UPSC Examination conditions. So, who knows, this will enable you to get rank 1 next year. But, if you quit now, that time will never come. MANY OF MY BATCHMATES WERE A FAILURE IN THEIR EARLIER ATTEMPT, EVEN COULDN’T QUALIFY PRELIMS AND MADE IN THE FINAL LIST IN 2021. So, who knows, you can be next. So, REST YOU MAY, BUT DON’T YOU QUIT. And those who are really too much sensible, emotional, and under tremendous pressure of society, don’t take any such step, which might bring a lifelong regret to your parents. FOR YOUR FAMILY, YOU ARE EVERYTHING AND NOT THIS LITTLE UPSC THING. SAVE YOUR LIFE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE RAISED YOU THIS MUCH THAT YOU HAVE WRITTEN THE MAINS OF INDIA’S MOST PRESTIGIOUS EXAM. DON’T DO ANY STUPIDITY AS YOU ARE THE GEM OF YOUR PARENTS. The most important person. I also had lost one friend like that. But I don’t want to loose any of you. THIS IS YOUR FAMILY AND WE WILL FIGHT TOGETHER FOR THE NEXT EXAM. Brace yourself. Take rest, take a pause, don’t study for next 2 days and then come back and say. WE WILL WIN THIS WAR TOGETHER.

Thank You for all the wishes you gave while I was admitted.
I suffered from Dengue + Typhoid for which I was admitted during 4th October, 2024 and was in hospital for a week.
I came home during which I also caught Tonsilitis.
All these events made me very weak in the last two weeks with drained energy.
But today for the first time in all this time – I am feeling confident with full energy.
In the process, some work had been hampered – I will be doing that on priority now.
