3. Is it better to recite the Qurʾan at night or to sleep and then recite it during the day?
Shekh Ṣaliḥ ibn al-Fawzan (May Allaah preserve him) replied, "He should recite what he can by night or by day. But to recite it by night is better since that’s when Jibreel would teach the Qur’an to Prophet (Salla-Allaahu alayhi wa sallam).

5. You have to find the answers from the Qur'an on your own without any online assistance. This is to encourage your relationship with the Qur'an.

6. The quiz is for a total of 60 points. Those who score 42 and above are eligible for the endowment reward in sha Allah.

7. All the participants who score 42 and above are eligible for the reward irrespective of the number.

2. Should I start a new reading at the start of Ramadan or should I finish my current reading and then begin a new one?
Sheikh Salih al-Fawzan (May Allaah preserve him) responded, "No, finish the Qur’an. Then after you have finished it you can start a new one. And if you were to not complete it, instead leaving off the remainder and starting a new after each Ramadan, then no, that is not good. Finish the Qur’an, then begin a new reading after that."

Du'a upon sighting new moon

Warning

1. If the moon is seen in one land, then can the neighboring land begin the fast in accordance to the sighting of that land?
The Prophet (Salla-Allaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "Fast when you see the moon and break the fast when you see it... [Bukhari no. 1909 and Muslim no. 1081]

However, it is not obligatory to start or end the fast if one did not see the new moon or is in the same sighting zone (area) based on Allaah's statement in Surat al-Baqarah (2:185),
...So whoever witnesses [the crescent  moon on the first night of Ramadan] the month, then let him fast...

Therefore, if the land is not in the same sighting zone of the moon, it should not follow its neighboring land, rather every land should judge according to its own moon sighting.
