🔴 Draft ceasefire agreement in Gaza according to the various news outlets:

Phase 1 (42 days):

1. Temporary suspension of military operations and Israeli withdrawal from all populated areas.

2. Temporary suspension of air activity for ten hours daily.

3. Return of displaced persons to their residential areas.

• Day 7: Israeli withdrawal from Al-Rasheed Street to Salah Al-Din Street, dismantling of Israeli installations, and return of displaced persons.

• Day 28: Israeli withdrawal from central Gaza, allowing free movement for residents.

• Delivery of aid, fuel, and debris removal equipment, alongside the reopening of hospitals and bakeries across Gaza.

4. Hostage exchange:

Phase 1: Hamas will release 33 hostages, with Israel releasing 30 Palestinian women and children for each released hostage, in order of detention.

• Hamas will then release all living female Israeli soldiers, with Israel releasing 50 Palestinian prisoners for each.

5. Prisoner exchange schedule:

• Day 1: Hamas releases three civilian hostages.

• Day 7: Hamas releases four civilian hostages, followed by three Israeli hostages every week.

• Week 6: Hamas releases all remaining Israeli prisoners covered under this phase in exchange for Palestinian prisoners based on a list prepared by Hamas.

• Israel will release 47 prisoners detained after the Shalit deal and all civilians under the age of 19 arrested in Gaza after October 7.

• Palestinian prisoners will be released unconditionally, with no future re-arrests.

6. The first phase of the hostage exchange is separate from the second phase.

7. Negotiations for the second phase will begin no later than Day 16.

8. The United Nations will continue to provide aid.

9. Infrastructure
rehabilitation will commence.

10. At least 60,000 housing units and 200,000 tents will be provided for those who lost their homes.

11. Increase the number of injured individuals transported for treatment through the Rafah crossing and permit trade movement.

12. Reconstruction and compensation for civilians will begin under the supervision of organizations and countries, including Egypt and Qatar.

13. During this phase, withdrawal and the cessation of military operations will continue, alongside negotiations for the second phase.

14. A permanent ceasefire will be announced, with full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza.

Phase 2 (42 days):

15. Exchange of bodies after identifying the deceased.

16. Reconstruction of Gaza (3–5 years) under international and UN supervision, including Qatar and Egypt.

17. Opening of crossings for individuals and goods.

The guarantors of the agreement are Qatar, Egypt, and the United States.

This is the touching moment a Syrian father was reunited with his daughter 12 years after she was thought to be killed by Assad regime forces.

This girl was found next to her mother’s body, shot dead by Assad regime forces in Homs in 2012. She was two years old.

🔴 A new study published in the UK’s Lancet medical journal estimates that #Gaza's death toll during the first nine months of the war was about 40% higher than figures reported by the Palestinian Health Ministry.

The researchers sought to assess the death toll from Israel’s air and ground campaign in Gaza between October 2023 and the end of June 2024, estimating 64,260 deaths due to traumatic injury during this period.

The majority of the 64,260 deaths (59%) were women, children and elderly people.

The peer-reviewed statistical analysis published in The Lancet journal on Thursday was conducted by academics at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Yale University and other institutions.

🔴 Two Muslim-Owned Cafes Burned Down In #Russia

On 7th January, criminals set fire to two popular Muslim-owned cafes, "Halol" and "Samarkand", in the Ramenskoye district of the Moscow region. The attackers recorded their actions on video and posted it on the Internet.

The attackers wore masks, broke the windows of the cafes, threw Molotov cocktails inside and started a fire. The criminals fled after the incident.

The cafes are located at the entrance to the village of Kuntsevo and were popular with visitors.

Turkistan Islamic Party Statement on Uyghur Commanders in Syria’s Armed Forces

The Turkistan Islamic Party (TIP) in Afghanistan issued a statement celebrating the appointment of Uyghur leaders in Syria’s armed forces: Major General Zahid Qarim (Abdulaziz Dawud Hudaberdi) and Lieutenant Colonels Ustad Jalaluddin (Abdusalam Yasin Ahmed) and Ustad Khubayb (Mawlan Tursun Abdussamad).

The statement honors the sacrifices of East Turkistan mujahideen in Syria, including martyrs, orphans, and wounded fighters, and expresses gratitude to Allah for the progress made. It also highlights the training of skilled leaders as a vital achievement for the East Turkistan jihad.

TIP reaffirmed its goal of achieving Islamic independence for East Turkistan, condemning China’s oppression of Uyghurs, and called for unity and perseverance.

70-year-old Muezzin, Mohammed Sajjad Ali, was killed in a brutal attack while returning from prayer on Tuesday, December 24. The incident, which occurred in a Kauakol village in Nawada, Bihar,

Ali, who served as the Muezzin at a local mosque, was reportedly attacked with an iron rod during a violent altercation. The attack also left his companion severely injured, and he is currently undergoing treatment.

The violence is believed to have erupted following a dispute between two groups over the construction of a Panchayat Government Bhawan.

In response to the incident, the local police initiated an investigation, leading to the arrest of nine suspects, including individuals identified as Dilip Kumar and Rahul Kumar Paswan.

🔴 Five Palestinian Journalists Killed in Israeli Airstrike

Israeli military targeted a clearly marked press vehicle in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central #Gaza, killing five Palestinian journalists.

They were in a Quds Today van parked outside al-Awda hospital, where the wife of one of the journalists was about to give birth, in the central Nuseirat refugee camp.

All five journalists worked for the satellite channel Al-Quds Today. The deceased journalists have been named as Fadi Hassouna, Ibrahim al-Sheikh Ali, Mohammed al-Ladah, Faisal Abu al-Qumsan and Ayman al-Jadi.

201 Palestinian journalists have been killed in Israeli attacks since the start of the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said he instructed police to ban mosques from broadcasting the adhan.

Under the new policy, police are allowed to enter mosques and confiscate loudspeaker equipment if found to be in use. Mosques broadcasting the call to prayer would also be fined.

Ben-Gvir said the new policy will put an end to the “unreasonable noise from mosques, which have become a hazard for the residents of Israel.”

Many of us wish to move on from Gaza, many of us already did. Many of us stopped talking about Gaza because its "too negative" or stopped sharing and following up on the situation because we're "fed up" and don't want to irritate others with more unpopular news. I wish I can move on and I have been very guilty for not doing much but how are you and I going to face Allah on the day of judgement? Honestly, think about it.

This is an obligation upon each one of us to help and therefore we are sinful if we are not. There is no excuse to blame others (including those who are in power) when we are not doing our part ourselves, neither is it justified to say what is my "small efforts" going to do anyways? The same effort you are putting in your business, work and livelihoods can be put for Palestine and I am sure the results will be greater.

The Prophet (pbuh) said do not belittle any good action, neither are we accountable for the results of our actions but rather we are for the action itself. There are those who are saying we can't speak out out of fear of losing our jobs, if the people of Palestine are sacrificing their lives to defend Masjid Al Aqsa on behalf of the ummah, surely we can sacrifice what is much more insignificant.

Let us keep remembering Gaza and Masjid Al Aqsa, let us keep praying and working until Palestine is free.

Smotrich said that Donald Trump’s presidential election win means the “time has come” to annex the West Bank.

🔴 Switzerland’s #Niqab Ban To Take Effect in January 2025

#Switzerland’s Niqab ban in public, commonly known as the “burqa ban,” will officially take effect on January 1, 2025.

The Federal Council said in a statement it had fixed the start of the ban, and that anyone who unlawfully flouts it in a public place faces a fine of up to £888 (1,000 Swiss francs).

The ban does not apply to planes or in diplomatic and consular premises, and faces may also be covered in places of worship and other sacred sites, the government said.

The measure, narrowly passed in a 2021 nationwide referendum, has faced strong criticism from Muslim organisations. It was championed by the same political group, Swiss People's Party, that led the 2009 ban on constructing new minarets in Switzerland.

🔴 Muslim Schoolgirls Banned From Wearing Hijab!

The authorities of the Vladimir region in #Russia have forbidden school students from wearing religious clothes including Hijabs.

This is stated in the order of the regional Ministry of Education and Youth Policy, which came into force on October 22, 2024.

According to the document, students in educational institutions are not allowed to wear clothes that demonstrate the religious affiliation, in particular, Hijabs and Niqabs.

🔴 Israel warned Iran ahead of its retaliatory airstrikes earlier this morning not to hit back, in an attempt to prevent back-and-forth attacks from spiraling into a wider conflict, according to sources quoted by the Axios news site.

Three sources quoted in the report say the Israeli message was passed to Iran via several third parties, including the Dutch foreign minister.

“The Israelis made it clear to the Iranians in advance what they are going to attack in general and what they are not going to attack,” one source is quoted as saying in the report.
