The Dīwān of Imam Shāfiʽi is the compendium of spontaneous poems that he uttered during his teaching sessions, and some are responses to written questions in poetic meter. All of which were primarily transmitted and recorded by his students in different books not exclusive for the poems. Afterwards, some researchers emerged individually to gather all the poems in a collection of book. And due to the humongous benefits of what is contained in the book, such as various admonitions regarding all facet of life, life-improving teachings ranging from interpersonal relation, social relation, self-discipline, spiritual improvement, importance and benefit of education among others, the book is now translated into English.
