The most recent data for December 2024 is out.

The US govt had total revenue (taxes, fees, tariffs) of $454 billion. The US govt paid $140 billion in interest on the national debt.

31% of all govt revenue was consumed by interest payments on the debt.

It is actually worse than that. The money revenue and payments for things like social security push up the revenue number, but it is all out the door to recipients right away.

If you ignore the social security and unemployment insurance money, the US govt had $317 billion in revenue and paid $140 billion in interest on the national debt. About 44% of all revenue went to interest.

The story goes that a husband and wife were invited to spend the weekend at the husband's employer's home. The wife was nervous about the weekend. The boss was very wealthy, with a fine home on the waterway, and cars costing more than her house.

"And if I trust in God, the name of God is holy, even on a coin. Whenever I find a coin I see that inscription. It is written on every single United States coin, but we never seem to notice it! God drops a message right in front of me telling me to trust Him? Who am I to pass it by? When I see a coin, I pray, I stop to see if my trust IS in God at that moment. I pick the coin up as a response to God; that I do trust in Him. For a short time, at least, I cherish it as if it were gold. I think it is God's way of starting a conversation with me. Lucky for me, God is patient and pennies are plentiful!

Tyler Perry Studios President Steve Mensch dead at 62 after plane crash

Mensch died in a plane crash, reps for Perry confirmed with Fox News Digital.

"We are incredibly saddened by the passing of our dear friend, Steve Mensch. Steve was a cherished member of our team for more than 8 years, and well beloved in the community of Atlanta," the statement read.

No other fatalities have been reported during the plane crash at this time. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.

By the looks of it, Putin whipped out a new Russian ICBM that NATO defense systems cannot intercept, but did NOT attach nuclear payloads to them.

Essentially, Putin just showed the West that he has the ability to destroy them if they keep provoking him.

It was a warning. Putin just exercised extreme restraint, while also showing Ukraine/NATO that they are outgunned.

This should be front page news on every outlet, but for some reason, it’s not. Perhaps it’s because this situation does not fit their narrative that Putin is this Hitler-esque loose-cannon who wants to conquer the world.

Putin is showing restraint. He wants diplomacy, not nuclear war. But the West continue to poke the bear.

We cannot wait until January 20th. We need Trump in office right now.

Two federal judges agreed Thursday to postpone criminal trials for defendants accused of breaching the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, agreeing that President-elect Donald Trump’s imminent inauguration could make the proceedings unnecessary. 😉

Over the objection of the Justice Department, U.S. District Judges Carl Nichols and Rudolph Contreras — Trump and Obama appointees, respectively — said they wanted to conserve court resources and avoid hauling in dozens of potential jurors for cases that might be called off in a few weeks. 💥😏

It’s the first time federal judges have acquiesced to the demands of Jan. 6 defendants for delays in anticipation of potential pardons from Trump, who has pledged to grant clemency to many people charged for their role in the attack on the Capitol.

“There’s a real possibility of that happening,” Contreras said after granting the delay motion offered by defendant William Pope.

A former linebacker with the Detroit Lions and DC Defenders was arrested Thursday for allegedly assaulting police at the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6 riot.

Leander Antwione Williams, 31, was arrested in Savannah, Georgia, on felony charges of civil disorder and assaulting, resisting or impeding police, along with multiple misdemeanor charges. The criminal complaint against him, filed in federal court in D.C. on Nov. 7, was the first new Capitol riot case to be filed since former President Donald Trump won reelection to the White House.

According to charging documents, Williams can be seen in open source video and police bodyworn camera pulling bike rack barricades away from police and striking an officer on the head with his arm. Investigators said other video shows Williams grabbing and struggling with a USCP and MPD officer.

After helping the mob take the West Plaza, investigators said Williams joined in chants of “U.S.A.!” and then made his way to the Lower West Terrace, where other rioters fought with police for hours in an effort to enter the building. According to charging documents, Williams remained on Capitol grounds until the evening.

On Thursday, the FBI in Houston revealed the apprehension of an individual accused of attempting to aid ISIS and confessing to plans for a terrorist attack within the United States.

The suspect, identified as 28-year-old Anas Said, was reportedly operating from his residence located in the far west part of Houston.

According to the FBI, Said confessed to studying methods for attacking local military recruitment offices, offered his apartment as a refuge for ISIS operatives, and boasted about potentially executing an attack on the scale of 9/11 if he had sufficient resources. He also engaged in efforts to create propaganda for ISIS.

Said faces charges for providing material support to the terrorist group.

During a press conference on Thursday, officials declared, "We have removed a suspected terrorist from Houston's streets."

🥴A House Democrat wants to introduce a resolution stating that Donald Trump cannot serve a third term as president.

The 22nd Amendment already states that presidents can only be elected twice, but that’s not enough for Rep. Dan Goldman, New York Democrat, who plans to file the resolution Thursday.

According to NBC News, which obtained a copy of the resolution Wednesday, it states that the 22nd Amendment “applies to two terms in the aggregate as President of the United States” and reaffirms that it “applies to President-elect Trump.”

The resolution also cites a number of times where Mr. Trump, widely known as a trolling jokester, said that he might serve another term or install himself as a dictator.

For example, coming out of the House Republican Conference on Wednesday, he joked “I suspect I won’t be running again unless you say, ’He’s so good, we’ve got to figure something else.’”
