EXAMEN

1. Become aware of God’s presence.
Take your time to settle yourself. Close your eyes and breath in deeply and out. Allow yourself time and space to get into a posture to be in tune with the Holy Spirit.

2. Review the week with gratitude.
Ask the Holy Spirit to review the week that has passed. Recall some of the high and low points of the week.

3. Identify a few experiences from the past week and pray from it.
Pay attention to your emotions. Take a moment to give thanks for each of these experiences, be they β€œhighs” or β€œlows”. Ask God for forgiveness in areas where you have fallen short. Pray for grace, wisdom, and new opportunities to glorify Him.

4. Look toward the new week.
Pray and commit the coming days to the Lord. Be as specific as you can.

5. End with the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13)

Growing up in a non-Christian family, Lucas Puah encountered Christianity for the first time at ACS (Junior) through chapel sessions and devotions.

"Coming from a non-Christian family, I was only exposed to Christianity when I started attending ACS (Junior) and heard about Jesus through chapel and morning devotions. I remember Pastor Barnabas Chong preaching about Jesus every week, and we also used to have Fun Time where we would watch VeggieTales and sing and dance to Christian songs. I never grew up with these things at home, so I found it fun and exciting....

This Sunday, our children and youth take a break from Church School to join in our Holy Communion services. Let’s welcome them with love and grace as OneBRMC church family.

As children of God in His Kingdom, we look forward to this monthly gathering of both young and old at His table to celebrate Christ as the crucified and risen Lord, to remember God’s love for us through the sacrifice of His Son, and the promise of Christ’s coming again.

EXAMEN

1. Become aware of God’s presence.
Take your time to settle yourself. Close your eyes and breath in deeply and out. Allow yourself time and space to get into a posture to be in tune with the Holy Spirit.

2. Review the week with gratitude.
Ask the Holy Spirit to review the week that has passed. Recall some of the high and low points of the week.

3. Identify a few experiences from the past week and pray from it.
Pay attention to your emotions. Take a moment to give thanks for each of these experiences, be they β€œhighs” or β€œlows”. Ask God for forgiveness in areas where you have fallen short. Pray for grace, wisdom, and new opportunities to glorify Him.

4. Look toward the new week.
Pray and commit the coming days to the Lord. Be as specific as you can.

5. End with the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13)

It’s not always easy when things go wrong, especially when you're in a foreign country. Travel vlogger Ivan Musto was looking forward to watch the Singapore Grand Prix 2024 only to discover that the tickets he’d paid $350 for were fake.

This easy-to-learn sport combines tennis, ping pong, and badminton, and is perfect for all fitness levels.
