2) CEX spot trading volume reached peak in December, $2.9T vs $1T in January 2024
3) With Binance’s dominance declining, other exchanges are competing to capitalise on the redistribution of market share in 2025
4) Top 3 CEX with the highest spot trading volume: Binance, OKX, Crypto.com
5) Other top 10 exchanges including Bitget are steadily growing in market shares. Bitget maintained consistent 5-6% spot market share in 2024
The competition between CEXs and DEXs will intensify in 2025.

They seem to ignore the reality that unlimited fiat printing impoverishes those who aren’t close to the money printer.

It is a fact that Bitcoin hasn't been battle-tested as gold.
If there is a large-scale war, cutting off your internet and electricity, such extreme scenarios will affect all systems equally.
Bitcoin would be the last thing you should be worried about.
Consider this:
1) Do you think your gold will be protected from being robbed or seized during extreme chaos like this?
2) Can you carry your gold and flee with your family members?
There is still a non-zero chance that Bitcoin might fail in the future.
But it is ignorant to not recognise its distinct advantages over gold in times of extreme crisis.
