"Adventure Camp at the buffer areas of Similipal Biosphere Reserve" by the Intercollege NSS unit at Banabhumi Degree Mahavidyalaya, Rangamatia, Mayurbhanj. Happy to see students from each corner of this beautiful disctrict coming together for a week long adventure camp.

Glad to know they have scheduled a special session on 5th Feb in which I will be interacting with them & respond to their questions on career and life..

Nothing is more fulfilling than going among the youths and sowing the seeds of hopes and dreams in their fertile minds. Our youths are amazing bundles of possibilities..

How many of us can squarely face the mirror, look into their own eyes and declare themselves a happy soul ??

No amount of human intelligence will ever be able to help us. The real ingredients of a happy life are starkly different from our existing views..

Well guys, yesterday's session was quite therapeutic for me. After a long & tiring week, I enjoyed responding to all the questions you asked.

And I appreciate the aspirant who sought my views on changing geopolitics and the new US administration. I enjoyed talking in length about it.

The freedom you experience while asking a question is the ultimate asset about our conversations. The ease with which all are able to participate is a proof of our accepting and non judgemental spirit..

May we build the temple our dreams brick by brick..

Well, finally Hindenburg is going to close its Propaganda Dukan. Make no mistake, even on his death bed they may put a blazer on George Soros(Of course with diapers), add some make up on his rotten face and they may peddle another propaganda before his funeral.

Deep state is real, nice to see some uprooting before the Trump inauguration.

There is nothing to worry. You are on your way, on the path of your own becoming.. Don't worry if you feel like you are behind or far from the place of your dreams.

Ahead, behind, successful, failure - all these terms are very illusive. These terms may represent a shallow view of life. Sometimes they can be deceptive too.

Your journey is yours alone, your story is your very own, your circumstances are not what others presume it to be. And the meaning you will derive out of your journey is unique.

Don't worry and please don't go by superficial definitions our society has created. Don't receive the stamp they want to put on you. You are a bundle of possibilities. Don't accept any conclusion that they want to draw about you. You are in your making, and no one has any right to conclude anything about you.

A distorted, devalued & ill-intended society or group of people can't define what you are. You are your own making and you are perfectly on your way.

If you understood what you read, you must look up & take pride in what you are. Please never look down on yourself. And if you haven't been kind to yourself for a while, I would urge you to be kind to your own incredible self. Please be tender to your own precious soul.

Things will eventually fall into place for you, exactly how it meant to be and the best way forward will come out. So drop your worries, give your all & live the present moment with an unburdened mind.

I will write more on this later..

NEW YEAR 2022

In the year 2021 my results came.
Rank - 1, unexpected, out of the world yet completely real. Outpouring wishes and questions from aspirants. It was overwhelming. Soon new year dawned & on the first day of 2022, I promised myself that I will respond to each youth who is seeking an answer from me.

Making a promise is easy. But trust me, when it comes to live that promise its very very difficult.

New year promise demanded a huge amount of effort and time. The volumes of messages were huge & I made a choice to remain public and approachable through Telegram & Twitter (Now X). Everyday before sleep I would painstakingly type and respond to all the queries that I received during the day. Yet in all these I experienced a fulfilment that was far more enriching than achieving the top spot in civil services.

My District training had already started. I sincerely tried to keep up with my new year resolution. Things were far from difficult but I pushed myself on & on..

A time came around  2022 February, when I couldn't talk & reply back to aspirants for a week. It was due to full swing preparation towards Panchayat Elections. So I discovered a new way of communicating. Everyday I would club10-15 aspirants who asked me questions during the day. Created a meet link, shared it with them and answered them in a short session in the evening.

I did this to manage the volume of queries. But this didn't satisfy me. I wasn't convinced that such a short session would help the seeking aspirants in real sense. Nothing could replace one-to-one conversation.

Here is a funny thing. The next day another young man would ask the same question that I had answered the day before. This would made me think "Ufffff ! I wish he would have attended the last meet, I answered this question so clearly. Now again I would have to attend his call."

This arrangement went on for few weeks. But the good thing was that I never gave up on a single question I encountered. Never thought I won't answer him/her because I already responded a similar question yesterday. Never for a moment I stopped respecting the seeking spirit of that one youth, no matter how silly the question may seem. My purpose was pure & I wanted to create some value in my own small capacity..

In March 2022 on my birthday, I decided something. I made up my mind to create a space in which I can interact with all those who have pressing questions regarding life & studies.

14 years - from 2007 to 2021- My life had been tossing between extremes. And I had gone through everything that one can or can't imagine.. I really had been through hell & back in all these years. Many questions bombarded at me by aspirants resembled situations that I had already faced.

This compelled me further. I gradually became convinced that I can be of use to somebody through my life experiences. The learning I have painstakingly acquired can be of help to somebody. This had further concretised my idea of creating a channel.

Life is not about only syllabus, grades or a rank. There is so much more. My purpose was to hold conversations on a broader range of topics. Topics like health, happiness, wellbeing, mental health, dealing with failures and so on... That birthday I gifted myself a beautiful choice - to open a channel and to further remain accessible to those who truly need me. That was my happy decision, because it was the only way I could keep my new year promise..

Finally on 4th April 2022, I opened this space and my first message was this...

Good afternoon dear friends. Hope you are doing well. I imagine you are in great health and in high spirits as you are reading this message.

We are already 4% into the new year & half of a month has already gone by. Many of you shared with me your new year resolutions & few are updating their weekly progress. Reading them is like a dose of inspiration & it pushes me to think what have I done to earn so much of your trust.

If I go back to the New Years I have shared with you it will reveal a beautiful pattern of growth and progress that we have undertaken together..

Oct 2021, results came & this guy who never liked social media, public appearances & limelight, suddenly had to appear before the media. Being screened on the TV was never ever in my remotest dreams. Let's keep those stories for some other day.

2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 - these are the years I have been among youths & aspirants. When I look back & imagine all these pages of the past, many untold stories knock the door of my mind wanting to flow out.

Thus I have decided to write a series of posts describing each new year we have shared and how that has shaped all of us in some way.

I want at least one person to know these stories that are hidden inside me.
😊 Many of you have asked me what I carried inside in all these years while I kept on taking sessions & typing the posts.. What has been my drive and why didn't I stop despite odds.. Well, you will have to read these posts to get the answer..😊

Right now I am traveling. Took a phone call from an aspirant which I usually do when I am enroute.. And here I started to type intending to share few stories of the past, which I am sure you will enjoy...

The moments are all there is !
Nothing more
& Nothing less.
This transient moment,
This time that you
Feel tiny,
Insignificant...
This snap in eternity
That looks like
A speck of dust...

This is all we have,
All we possess
And we own...

As one moment die
And the next is born
On the graveyard
Of the previous one...

Yesterday we played a friendly cricket match..  🏏 The local boys vs the Tahasil Team. Our team included myself, revenue supervisor, my RIs, Amin, Office staffs and peons. They were village boys of all age groups.

10 overs each. Heads was my call. We won the toss and batted first. Revenue supervisor (at my right in the photo) & I opened the bat. He got out in the 9th over scoring a half century. And at the end of first innings we were 122/3. I remained not out at 45.

They gave a very good fight but ended at 96/7. One of my office peon Bisu (third towards my right) bowled two good overs in which he took 4 wickets. That turned the game around..

It was the first game on the fields after many years.. The breeze, the open sky, the feeling of hitting the balls out of the boundary - everything was amazing.. The  sun was in a hurry to disappear in the western sky when we got back from the ground. The evening descended early than usual..

On our way back we halted at a tea stall. This tea point is a new one, owned by my driver Balram (at my right wearing a cap). Few months back I suggested him to open a tea stall that would cater quality tea to the tourists heading towards similipal. He went ahead with my suggestion. The tea stall is managed  by his family and my suggested version of quality is intact in the tea that is served. No water added, well prepared and beautifully served..

He has brought a special cup plate from Baripada. Whenever I go there I am served in that cup which he has kept only for me.

Balaram has also arranged a Carrom board for the village boys just beside his tea stall. They play carrom throughout the evening &  that keeps the area lively.

We all enjoyed the special tea together. Four of us played some carrom, I kept striking the dots while sipping the tea.. The evening became lighter with some laughter and good conversations..

We got back to office and I finished the remaining files for the day before returning home. On my way back looked up & took a picture of the waxing moon..

PV Narsimha Rao wanted an apolitical & independent expert as his FM. He was fully convinced that Dr Manmohan Singh was one such person. The first budget speech of Manmohan Singh was delivered on July 24 1991.

The tall leader of BJP Atal Bihari Vajpayee naturally took a strong stand against the drastic measures elaborated by the new Finance Minister. The heavy criticism was unacceptable for Dr Manmohan Singh. He was not only soft spoken, he was also very sensitive and soft hearted. His intentions were pure and his sole purpose was to bring a budget that would fundamentally alter India's deadlocked economic trajectory. With deep pain & anguish Dr Singh reached out to the then PM PV Narsimha Rao and expressed his desire to resign from his post as FM.

PV Narsimha Rao called Atal Ji & intimated that Dr Singh has been hurt by his heavy criticism and contemplating resignation. Hearing this Vajpayee Ji immediately reached out to Dr Singh. He told him that all his comments are political and they are not personal attacks. He asked him to reconsider his decision to resign. He said “Dr Singh, one ought to have a thick skin. Even if we don’t support you, you must stay strong on your path”. In the later years, Dr Manmohan Singh fondly recalled this episode whenever he spoke about Vajpayee Ji.

This is how a very warm bond between two statesmen was born. They became very good friends and deeply respected each others work for the nation.

When Dr Manmohan Singh became the Prime Minister of India, he was one of those very few regular visitors who went to meet Atal Ji at his residence.

Both of them went on to assume the highest post of our country from different parties yet their bond was above their ideologies and political differences.

You don't  have to be in a good mood to open your book & start studying. Rather if you turn your pages and read for an hour,  you will gain control over your mind & your focus will eventually become unwavering.

Gradually you may realise that you are more powerful than the chaos inside your head &  you don't need a perfect situation to begin your work for the day...

Don't wait for a good mood or easy time. It may not  always come. The moment of your becoming begins now, from this moment onwards. Take a leap of faith. The outcomes of your journey won't depend on what you were going through, rather it would only depend wheather you kept kicking off irrespective of your present circumstances..

Yesterday after my visit to Puri I finished some important work, then in the evening I was at Synapse library to give Maha Prasad to students. There are few students who are close and whose situations feels like my own.

The roads of Nayapalli area are very familiar. They remind me of my days of struggle. Whenever I get time, I walk around ID Market and meet all those people, shopkeepers and known faces who touched my life in some or other ways. They feel extremely happy when I go back to them & we engage in a way as if nothing has changed in last few years.

It was raining all day & streets were empty. I took an auto from Shaheed Nagar to Synapse to savour the winter rains. Kanhu bhai and Mausa are my respected elders there. We had a conversation & I went upstairs around 8.30pm. It was very cold & there were only 3 students in the reading room.

After some formal conversations, we sat together & started discussing on various topics. I got to know that they are regular listeners of our evening sessions in telegram. Our discussion that lasted for almost an hour touched upon areas like output oriented study, psychology of focus, increasing time value, conditioning our minds for a specific purpose & the entirety of mains preparation.

Interactions are most beautiful when they are directed to one person & when it happens with a small group. I had read somewhere that dialogues are life to life exchanges and they hold the capacity to impact and uplift another life. Thus we must believe in the power of dialogues. Our capacity to hold positive, healthy & refreshing dialogues impacting the lives of the people engaged in it, is a true mark of our humanity.

One life is important. So one person is the best crowd to have & address. One is the mother of a million. And the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. While coming back I reaffirmed my resolve to value, treasure & cherish the very person in front of me & to always believe in the power that one single individual carries.

Santa was a giver, an unconditional giver. He derived immense joy in making people happy. He basked in delight when when jingles of happiness belled in the lives of people he touched. His kindness was contagious, his heart was magnetic & his pursuit was pure.

When we care for others our own strength to live exponentially increases. Perhaps Santa's spirit was soaked with care and concerns for others. Perhaps his way of living radiated that strength which is subtle and soft yet very powerful. The celebration of Christmas is also a celebration of our capacity to care for others irrespective of our personal circumstances. It is a celebration of our inherent & intrinsic capacity to create value.

There is an ounce of Santa's spirit in each one of us. May we further explore & expand this spirit of giving, kindness, unconditional love that resides in the depth of our own lives.

Merry Christmas Dear Friends

In the quest of finding a vocation and pursuing a career many youths experience low self esteem and question their existence. It's pathetic that no one talks about the impact of that journey on the body, mind & spirit of a youth. We are only focused on those who are approached by media outlets & who become stars behind the reporter's boom.

This morning I spoke to an aspirant scoring very low in preliminary examination after failing in last interview. He was almost breaking down while sharing things with me. The most painful thing is how closed ones left him one by one just because of his exam failure.

There is so much comparison now a days that adds salt to the injury. We aren't interested in what the person is going through, we don't want to understand the subjectivity of this exam, we care a little about luck factors, evaluation discrepancies, mental state of the youth or any other genuine obstacles that might have arisen on the way. This stems anger in me sometimes. How we suffocate our precious young flowers and how cruelly we leave them stranded to deal with the unspoken realities all alone ??? Shame on us...

Today again I renewed my resolve to be a listener to those who are navigating through this sea of tough times & uncertainties. And I truly hope those who are reading this message won't evaluate individuals according their present conditions rather in the yard stick of possibilities they inherently carry.

It's office time ! I will write more on this later.

Make it a great day.

Tough times force you to dive inward. Difficulties literally thrashes the individual to the depth of one's own life & make you realise what an amazing person you never had a chance meet before.

Then you see the problems, observe your patterns and your possibilities. Adversity turns you into the Vishwakarma of your own life.

Finally you come out, victorious !

Good morning dear friends 🌅 Make it a great day..

Just now I had a meaningful conversation with one of my respected elders. Sharing the summary in a nutshell..

1 - Dream big irrespective of your life situations ( it's a blunder if you connect the height of your dreams with your present circumstances. Don't be logical, dream it. Every dream is valid)
2 - Struggle your hardest
3 - Go for it whatever it takes
4 - Win big
5 - Stay grounded and humble after your victory. Remain unchanged.
6 - Never forget where you came from & the people who stood by you when you were struggling
7 - Share your story with gratitude. This is a must because u never know who might be in the same situation like urs when 'you had nothing & u decided to brave all your odds'.

He invites you to his place. He makes you plan a list of things to ask & pray for.. Then he allows you to meet him. But that very moment he leaves you blank, almost thoughtless. You forget everything that you came for, you are engulfed & stuck only in his divine radiance.

Years ago when I was working in private sector. My younger self was battling a series of problems during those days.

No matter what happened, I kept the flame of hope burning inside my heart.. When life was unfair, I continued to be kind to those around me.. Problems taught me that everyone is battling something in their own lives & in the process I learnt to develop genuine empathy..

Whenever I went through a tough day, I took a picture so that I can look back & celebrate how far I have come..

To smile & to become happy is a courageous choice. Happiness is not an effect of a cause, rather the choice to be happy is a cause that gives rise to ripples of similar effects. You may fail to be happy even if you have everything in the world. On the other hand you may be full of joy even when you have nothing. It's a choice, the choice to be in love with life itself...

In those years I created my own definitions of things & they purely came out of life experiences...

I am extremely proud of this young man whose shoulders carried so much but he didn't stop following his convictions.

So since the beginning of this decade we are 5 year closer to our departure from this planet. If we consider the beginning of 21st century, we are a quarter century closer to our expiry.

Aspirations were hopeless after last preliminary. But he told his students to keep studying for mains if they scored 50 (UR - M) in preliminary. And a year later opsc publishes it's cut off exactly as he predicted. Hundreds of those who could have done great in the mains lost hope and thought they can't clear pre. But there were few who came across him, believed in his prediction and have entered into the top cadre in their maiden attempt.

Preliminary is important but the first 30 days following the preliminary is even more important.

Got this message from a ranker. He asked me after the preliminary about the cut off, I had sent him this YT link. The rest you can read from what he says. Sharing this with his permission so that you won't waste a precious month after pre.

Encountering a genuine mentor/guide can be the defining moment of one's life.

Lastly to those who don't have any attempts left -

You have tried the very best you can. You have gone through the gruelling exam process for the last few years. And perhaps it's very very difficult to walk away from a dream that you so deeply desired to achieve..

Ranks are not always proportional to talent. They are neither true signs of our capabilities nor do they determine the outcome of our lives. Sometimes we are left with no reasons why something happened only to us despite having talent and putting all the hardwork in place. It could be anything.. May be fate or a bit of fault. May be it wasn't meant to be that way. May be you weren't destined to be in this field. Or may be you are made for something else, something better and something bigger. May be you have a different mission in life...

Whatever the case may be, it's time to move on. It's time to gather yourself and look beyond this path. And when we gather ourselves, it's important to carefully gather each and every piece that we have left here so that we won't need to ever look back and say 'a part of me still longing to be in that field'.

It's time to explore possibilities that life has to offer. I strongly believe, some of you will make huge differences in the future, even achieve greater feats than those in civil services. It may so happen we will see you telling the world how years back you couldn't clear civil services despite exhausting all your attempts. And you may acknowledge that the perceived failure was infact the best thing that happened to you, because you were destined for something better & bigger.

When we were children and didn't know the complexities of life, we always prioritised Happiness. Nothing could come in between. When we couldn't get a toy, we used  to cry for a day. But the next morning we used to forget the toy we had wanted the day before. Old things never held us back during childhood days. We lived in the present with a spirit of pure innocence and we looked for new things to be happy.

Perhaps it's time to be a child again & forget the toy we wanted yesterday. It's time for a deep sleep & complete reset. It's time to look for new things.. We can try to believe that good things can happen in life. And the toy we are leaving behind isn't the only good thing in the world..

No matter what others may tell you, I believe with all my heart that you are God's child.  You have come here with a profound mission. You are worthy and you are very very precious. With or without the trophy of a rank - you are irreplaceable. Nothing, absolutely nothing can replace your inner worth.

I have learnt that happiness doesn't depend on the work we do, it depends with what kind of heart we do it. I am confident that there are infinite other things that you are capable of doing beautifully and it will bring you true joy in life.

An unhappy person on the highest position is far worse than a happy soul doing whatever to earn his living.

People working in other fields than civil services have achieved greater feats and have given back to society immensely. With faith, one can alter her/his destiny. Please believe me when I am saying this.

Human potential is not so limited that it can only bloom in one field named civil services. And blooming has no age. Some people flower in their late fifties, so if you are in your late thirties, you should know that you are young. It's never ever too late..

This message is getting longer, but I feel I have much more to say. If you ever need any support, feel free to reach out, I will respond on priority.

Lastly I want to tell those who are moving away from their cherished dream of civil services towards a new future - "This is just the beginning."

All the best my friend. Take care & God bless.

Once the results are published many of you will experience a great shift in the trajectory of your lives. All of a sudden your unique stories, your relentless struggles will come to light. With the publication of results there will be euphoria, celebrations will naturally erupt and the heart of your closed one's will swell with pride.

News channels, youtubers and institutions will get busy in capturing the initial reactions of your victories. The Google data centers in California will experience a few terabytes of data upload from Bhubaneswar as your mock interviews will be released by institutes. After watching your words and success stories , many aspiring youths will find in you their role models.

On the other hand, there will be equal number of aspirants who will be left with a post dated cheque, only with a signature of uncertainty. They will search their names 2-3 times but won't find themselves in the long list of declared winners. Their hearts will be filled with pain & disbelief as they will reach the end of the results pdf. Their dreams will be shattered. All their hardwork & their stories will be burried unnoticed & unheard. No one will care to know how many sleepless nights they spent reading those bulky books, what sacrifices they made & how they gave up their little joys to achieve their goals. The world won't try to know how good they were in crafting answers or how many times they had revised their optionals.

People will brand them as failures. With a defeat that is so heavy to accept, their dreams will postpone for atleast one more year. They will remain puzzled and won't be able to reconcile with the results. Without knowing what went wrong, they will continue to suffer silently. And in just a week, they will have to sit for another preliminary exam. I am loss of words to describe how gruelling it can be. Being forced to get into another exam cycle without finding a moment to solace themselves will badly grind their spirits.

Today, no one of you, who have appeared the interview knows which side is yours. You dont know you are winning or losing. So you may understand the meaning behind this message. But when results are out, you will know your side & this message may not make much sense to those who are achievers.

Once the notice is out, there will be a stark difference. You may declare before the media that you were sure of a rank. But today all of us are on the same page. No matter what happens tomorrow, all of you are carrying the same anxiety & anticipation now.

"Today both victory and defeat are in disguise. They are concealed. And no matter which side you belong, today all of you stand on the same crossroads."

Sometimes the crossroads & the final hours can awaken us to amazing truths of life. Today you are exactly standing there.

Please don't forget your anxiety and uncertainty of today, when ur victory or defeat were unrecognisable, when you didn't know which side will be yours.

May this moment become the moment of your true awakening. May this fresh departure keeps you unchanged irrespective of the results. May you gather yourself with utmost tenderness if you lose and may you not become arrogant if you win.

Our society celebrates success, glorifies winners and honours them on a pedestal. The same society forgets failures as nobodies. Today you are at the hour before your dawn. If you succeed, may you not forget to acknowledge that you shared the same page with those who couldn't make it. It was never about absolute victory or defeat, it was about few marks that made all the difference.

May you continue to look back and recognise those who need you. It may not be easy to look back when life changes for better, that's a part of human nature. But may you become an anti-thesis and prove this wrong. May you lend your ears if anyone reaches out to your newfound self for any kind of help.

Finally, wishing you all the very best for whatever is in store. Hopefully this year we will witness yet another amazing batch of dynamic and briliant officers.

Day before yesterday I visited an Educational Institution that comes under my Tahasil Jurisdiction.

After the scheduled meeting with the principal & teaching staff was over, I went into a classroom. After few minutes of interaction I decided to engage the students for the entire period & discuss a very significant topic.

The discussion started with a simple question - "what you wish to do in life ?" The answers were interesting. Many didn't know what they wish, a few said with clear voice what they will do. And the rest remained silent even after asking them twice. Their faces were down as if they have committed a mistake by not knowing what they wish to do in the future.

This reminded me of my timid young self. I couldn't say anything when bombarded with multiple questions during my elementary school days. I used to look down cutting a sorry face. Because I had a feeling that I have let down my teacher by failing to answer a question.

Immediately to relax the atmosphere, I told them "there is nothing to worry, I never knew I would do this job in my life. My dream was different, but I ended up being in service. There is nothing to worry if you haven't decided or unable to answer my question. If you are someone who don't know how life will be like after a few years then we have something in common. I too didn't know this when I was your age."

They smiled. Those who couldn't say anything felt relaxed. Now they could relate & felt I m not different from them. The atmosphere turned more lively as I declared, "let's then do one thing, I m going to talk about 'dreams' today. We will know the importance of cherishing dreams in life. And if you all understand what I will say in the next few minutes, then we will discuss a little more and talk about having big dreams. If you are willing , shall we discuss ??"

They all instantly nodded in unison - "Yes Sir !"
I saw the young eyes literally sparkling infront of me in curiosity. They sat up straight & looked as if they can't wait more. Now I could sense that the atmosphere is ready for a meaningful conversation.

Two of them requested if we can switch off the fans so that they can listen to me clearly. We did that. The room was silent, our conversation was ready to begin..

I waited for a few seconds and asked the students to open the windows that were towards the forest side. The gentle breeze coming from the thick forests of Similipal continued to blow through the open windows. The air was cool & fresh. Touching the mountains & thousands of trees, perhaps the breeze carried with itself the fragrance of the forest. This added more to the classroom.

That's how our session on "Cherishing Big Dreams in Life" unfolded day before yesterday. We all enjoyed a joyful exchange that lasted for around 60 minutes..

"Dreams are like the maps of our future." - I started
..
..
"Efforts are bridges between our realities & our dreams"
...
...

"We have to know the width of the river, decide & plan the construction of a bridge and we have to do it by ourselves." The conversation continued touching many aspects of a young life. I listened to what they had to say & responded whatever they asked.

I wrote many things on the board and asked them to take down anything that they feel important.
Time flew by. And after 60 minutes I wrapped up the session with a promise to meet them again before the end of this year..

We took a commemorative photograph to remember the occasion & I told them to visit my office if ever they feel down or overwhelmed.

While returning the sky turned a bit clearer, the paddy fields stretched endlessly like a green canvas until it touched the foot of the mountains.. It was second day of Navratri and I felt waves of positive energy surging in the entire atmosphere around.

"These students will be waiting. We will come to meet them again before this year ends."

"Definitely Sir" , My driver affirmed.

The most subtle forms of violence are negative self talk, neglecting self care, hurtful  communication and any act of harming oneself & others.

Then comes two evil acts.  Jealousy & unhealthy comparison -  these are acts of violence in disguise. You can't see those envying demons, but they exist. Interestingly such people affect themselves more than the person they are envying..

In other words violence is being indifferent, unkind & cold. simply put its the lack of compassion & empathy.

Bullets, missiles & warfare come later in the list.. I don't  want to get into that..

If we truly want non violence to prevail, we will have to start with non violent communication. Most of us don't know how badly we affect other people through our reckless & mindless use of words. We fail to fathom the filth on our tounge & the poison that we spit around us just by using  harsh & hurtful words..

Non-violence is born from a culture of respect for the inherent dignity of life. We need to cultivate this spirit through our voices. Voice of respect that doesn't insult, voice of kindness that doesn't hurt, voices of hope that inspire & voices of courage that encourage..  Our conversations are the most fundamental expressions of our inner world. Non violent communication is the most direct way to establish a culture & society in which non-violence genuinely thrives..

Are we truly non violent ? Let's introspect..

Wishing you all a Happy International Day of Non-violence.

I hope you are doing well. And I truly wish you are being kind to your own self. You have been toiling very hard, you have been trying your best. You have been braving all odds and you have undergone everything with so much perseverance.

Please don't bash yourself ever. Please don't tell yourself hard things that may crack your self belief, don't shrink yourself by doing negative self talk & please never doubt your worth no matter what happens.

When in doubt, remember that there is someone who believe in your eventual rise. When in darkness remember that there is someone in the world who is certain about your inevitable dawn, crimson golden dawn. Do count me as that one person if you find no one during your difficult times.

I firmly believe that your present situation doesn't define the outcome of your life & you are much more capable than you can ever imagine. You will have to wait to see that day. You are worthy, you are on your way, you will make it eventually & you will witness yourself doing great things in life.

Keep your heads up & never allow that bright smile to fade from your face.

Take good care. I will continue to keep you in my prayers..
