🇺🇸 The U.S. government has received permission to sell 69,370 BTC (worth $4.4 billion) associated with the Silk Road marketplace.

Battle Born Investments also claimed the coins, having previously filed a lawsuit against Silk Road, asserting their right to the BTC.

A court ruling dismissed Battle Born Investments' claims, and the government has officially obtained the right to manage the assets.

🐸 HBO revealed the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, claiming it to be Peter Todd, a former Bitcoin Core developer. Peter Todd has already denied this. Currently, the legend is involved in shilling memes on Solana.

👀 HBO's Arguments:

1️⃣In 2010, Todd responded to Satoshi on the Bitcointalk forum from a new account — he accidentally finished Satoshi's post from his own account. Both accounts went silent simultaneously.
2️⃣ Later, Todd implemented the "replace-by-fee" (RBF) concept, which was discussed in a forum thread. Todd used the pseudonym "John Dillon" to promote RBF.
3️⃣ Satoshi posted on a schedule that matched a student's routine, with more posts on weekends. During that time, Todd was a student.
4️⃣ Both used British/Canadian spelling.
5️⃣ Once, Todd discussed a "donation" of BTC — it is believed this referred to the destruction of Satoshi's coins.
