1) FELINE TREASURY UPDATE: New method added to convert the USDT from PETE into more PETE-tokens for the treasury.

RESULT: 101 PETE added to the treasury.

2) FELINE REBIRTH UPDATE: 50% of the rebirth price will be send to the treasury (according to the 45,45,10 rule). 25% will be send to the budget wallet and the last 25% will flow straight into the treasury. As a cherry on top, the rebirth price has changed to 16 PETE instead of 25.

3) MARKETPLACE UPDATE: A new method was added to automatically buy eggs with the marketplace-fees and do instant burns.

💥 All these spooky activities have drawn the attention of a new freaky species... THE MUTANTS HAVE ARRIVED! 🔥

Mutants will be launched on Thursday the 14th at approx. 17h00 CET (UTC+01:00).

The first generation of mutants are created by breeding Obstinate Ducks and Obstinate Turtles. The farming rewards of both animals will be combined earning so Mutants will earn $EGG + vEGG and $SPICE + FEED-items when placed on a Mutarium.

Since mutants are currently the highest and rarest class of creatures in our Arkimals Metaverse, you'll be taking a risk by hatching a mutant.

☠️ There is a small chance that the mutant receives 8 genes from one single parent. In this case it will die. ☠️

Beware: The background-color of the Mutants might still be changed over time.

Even though "WAVES" has improved their security, we are still constantly monitoring the status of our game and servers. Currently there are no signs of any hackers or malicious software in our game or servers. However it is best to stay alert, always double check the transaction you sign.

📣 ARKIMALS STATUS UPDATE 🤪


A few days ago our Arkimals-webpage was breached by a hacker. He managed to sent transactions to our players to "set a script" on their account, those that signed this transaction (only two know victims so far) would permanently lose access to their account.

At this moment everything appears to be sealed / fixed. But it's very important that everyone keeps checking all the transaction that they sign! We are doing everything we can to find out how this happened and how we can 100% prevent this.

The reason we restarted the website already is because we can only run a vulnerability scan when the website is online. The scan can take up to 48 hours, hopefully we have more / good news after this scan.

Stay vigilant when signing transactions... and when in doubt, halt everything until our team can verify that you are save.

PS: Our devs have been using this down-time to create some nice features like batch-claiming farm rewards and so on... stay tuned!😉

Our team has been working hard to get the game up and running again. We would like to share our progress with our players:

(dApps) Completely fine: Turtles, Felines, Canines, Pools, Wearables.
(dApps) Still ongoing: Legacy Duck Farming, Duck Farming, Marketplace.
(dApps) Needs to be "rebuild": Xmas Stables, Duck Houses, Buyback Wallet.
(dApps) Will be removed: Duck Renting.

DuckWars is not operational at this moment.
Playing Hunt is possible the rewards just won't be paid yet.
Canine, Feline, Turtles kept farming so those rewards can now be claimed.

We want to thank everyone for the trust in our team. There will be another status report soon so stay tuned. 🍿

☄️ AMA SUMMARY ☄️

How did this happen:
- Clicking one button in the IDE would upload all the data in the IDE to an external server.

Damage report:
- We reacted pretty fast but chain was forked so that delayed us.
- Most core dApps are un affected.
- The affected dApps are: renting dApp, ducks dApp, buyback wallet few 100 waves, duck house dApp.
- Canine and Feline classes are completely unaffected. this means our previous statement about this was wrong.
- We will investigate how many NFTs are affected and how to deal with it. we will try to resolve it with the duck-owners and issue new exact 'copies' of the lost ducks.
- Add blacklist dApp to make sure the old ducks are useless when the new are issued.
- Renting damage might be shutdown because it's not popular, losses are minimal.
- They gained about 2-3k egg-tokens and took control of a lot of staging-dApps and testnet-dapps.

Solution to prevent this in the future:
- Setting up a new local IDE.
- 2FA on every dApp.
- Kill switch will be build in in the dApp -> Will instant lock down when it detects an intruder.

Final words:
- Halloween event will most likely be postponed, but we will not cancel it.
- It should be doable to restart the game within a few weeks from now.
