There has been an increase in bush fires over the last week and we have been notified that there were three small fires that appear to have been started intentionally along Seaview Road yesterday.
We advise anyone who sees a bush fire to immediately report it and provide an accurate location as to where you are. You can contact the fire department on 041 585 1555

At the moment there is an overturned vehicle in the middle island on the N2 between Bluewater Bay and The M4 freeway.
There are a few potholes opening up around town due to the rain. Please drive with caution and report the big ones so we can send out a list of bad potholes to avoid.

3rd Avenue Dip is still open and there is still some water flowing over the road.
Kruisrivier Bridge from Uitenhage to Rocklands is still closed. We are receiving many questions about the road everyday. Please assume it is closed until we send an update saying otherwise as it needs repair work.
