Hello to everyone,
1. Whatever FIIs have been throwing away (as per the expensive valuation narrative) has been absorbed by DIIs to a large extent.
2. DIIs are sitting on a large cash pile, some 2 lakh crore to counter any large volume. So, even if one replicates to some extent a fund house, they can make money.
3. Option chain is useful to find supports and resistance but as supports and resistances work on charts, similarly they work here. I don't read into them at all for they aren't much useful to me. My job is to make a solid core portfolio and rotate with little riskier bets around it. I, however, don't compromise on financial strength.
4. I always sit on cash as well, so am deploying every 5-10% downmove. Don't mind being fully invested if I can get dirt cheap valuations. I remember entering China around a single digit PE, India is 2.5 times (in terms of PE) but it is fine to some extent in a growing economy since we would also have a higher growth rate. Fun fact, US is at a similar valuation as well, so it holds true and is also a narrative to some extent.
P.s. you can read into PEG ratio which is a modified version of PE and if you have grasped the concept of PE.
