Hero of the Week: November 18, 2024: Alberta Premier Danielle Smith

Almost exactly two years ago, we chose Danielle Smith—at that time the newly elected Premier of Canada’s Alberta province—as our Hero of the Week for her public apology to individuals inappropriately discriminated against or fired because of their vaccination status. This week, we are pleased to acknowledge Premier Smith’s stand for free speech.

In a recent joint video (posted on “X”), Smith and Justice Minister Mickey Amery announced forthcoming initiatives to better protect medical and legal professionals’ freedom of speech and expression.

Though it might not seem like it, Autumn is actually a great time to harvest wild fruits and berries and whether you are in or out of the city there are a number of them you can be harvesting and enjoying right now!

Here are 9 local wild fruits and berries I’m harvesting this Autumn

🫐Lingonberries aka Wild Cranberry - FYI the leaves are also an excellent UTI treatment
🫐Saskatoon berries - find them on the bush dried like a raisin this time of year
🫐Rosehips
🫐Rowan or Mountain Ash
🫐Silverthorn Buffaloberry
🫐Wolfwillow
🫐Hawthorn
🫐Highbush cranberry
🫐Chokecherry

Are any of these on your list to pick while the weather continues to be mild and warm?
Nature is abundant and always provides!

I would include politicians on that list…

I think the biggest problem I see is that so many people DO NOT GET INVOLVED LOCALLY. No, I am not talking about voting locally (although that is better than voting for puppet presidents) but actually being an activist in your community.

Too many people are only active online. They have no involvement in their local areas and do not actually fight for change in their neighborhoods.

What does change on the local level look like?

It looks like building local community gardens, urban farms, Community Supported Agriculture, etc.

It looks like hosting documentary screenings to educate your community about the reality of our world.

It looks like hitting the streets with flyers to info-jam your community about important issues.

It looks like supporting or creating alternative currencies so you aren't dependent on the state's money.

It looks like protesting and pushing back against authoritarians when necessary.

It looks like getting organized with like minds in your areas and forming Freedom Cells (mutual aid groups) to set and accomplish them.

Most importantly, it looks like working with your activist friends to focus on the creation of parallel systems.

The internet is a tool but it is not the only way to make change. In fact, 5th generation warfare says that social media is the battlefield and most are completely unaware, and missing out on the opportunity to fight in your own backyard.

If you’ve been in the silver space for a length of time this rings hilariously and bitterly true…

“It’s the metal with the most potential yet, if it can find a way, it will always let you down….

The thing to remember about silver is, like errant girlfriends with personality disorders, if it can let you down, it will. The lovemaking will be unforgettable, you will have the time of your life, but, as sure as eggs are eggs, it will break your heart. Manage your risk.”

Some pretty good lines in this one…
😂
Most most notably the title:
Public health is to actual health what drag queens are to actually being a woman”

And:
“public health today is this weird, exaggerated, corporatized performance of things that kinda sorta sound like health by people who have no understanding of science and medicine. After years of personal observation, reflection, and engagement it seems to me that public health today is best described as a drag performance by marginalized people who allow themselves to be used by the fascist Pharma state because it makes them feel powerful.”

Banking & Debt

Financial transaction freedom is the ability to use multiple options to make contracts and effect transactions on a timely basis at reasonable cost without interference. This freedom must be protected at all costs.

‼️There are actions that can be taken to secure financial transaction freedom from an individual and family point of view, which we will explore.
