Today, my Luminous self-direct boy graded himself for his "Report Card". Jan-Dec 2024.  📝

From his 9yo-10yo perspective, these are the "subjects" that he has observed are core to life.

Just like last year - "Happiness" & "Kindness" remain his strongest subjects. 🤩

Brushing Hair is still the weakest one. 😅💈

New this year -- Roblox video games is beyond A++. It's S+! (Gen alpha lingo - S for "sigma!").

sprinkled in between various life activities...

Math is one of the extracurricular activities.

our 9yo (soon 10yo) boy completed Algebra 1 (9th grade) today.

So far, I've witnessed him doing 9 full academic years of Math - having NEVER once sat in a tiny little desk.

He enjoys math in the evenings 6-9pm.

All sprawled out on the floor - squirming all around. 🏄‍♀️🤸‍♂️⛷

Math is one of his extra-curricular activities. Like Karate and Soccer.

2x (max 3x) a week.

30-45mins at a time, in short doses when inspired and well-rested.

He squirms and sprawls out on the floor.

Takes breaks for snack, potty, or play music.

He goes upside-down in inversions.

Then sits up, gets still and rolls his eyes up to "grabs answers from space."🛸🧘‍♂️🛸

Recently, he's started writing out the steps, not just grabbing answers from space. 🛸📝

When he was 7, he thought how cool it'd be if someday, he did 12th grade math at age 12.

Then he thought how cool it'd be to do 11th grade math at age 11.

Maybe there's a slim chance of doing 10th grade math at age 10??? maybe?

Somehow, today we finished 9th grade math at age 9.

Surprises every step of the way.

I am mindblown by how much more efficient this life is - even by conventional "academics" standard?

Just by allowing natural rhythms. As a byproduct, it turns out the academics flow in exponentially more efficiently too.

Once we've experienced this life - it's nolonger possible to go back to the old conventional way.

So mindblown to be witnessing this new generation of magical Luminous Kids! 🤯🤩🥰

Luminous Kids ...

are incompatible with the conventional factory-model of schooling. 🚫🏫🙅‍♀️

They require the freedom to breathe, freedom to play, sleep, eat, drink, pee, poop, explore, learn whenever they want, however they want.

Many people wonder - but what about academics? 🤔

How will they learn to read, write, do math? Won't they just play video games all day?

In our case - YES. Our kid does play a lot of video games.

Sweet memories.

Circa 2013.

Wim came to SF Bay Area and stayed on my jenky lil pull-out couch in my tiny country cottage that week.

Together we offered this FREE community talk in SF for ~20ppl at my Chinese Medicine clinic.

I had invited thousands of people. I shared my crystal ball vision that this "iceman" and his world-changing method would take the world by storm.

People thought I was nuts.
😍

It was super early days. These 20 people who were ready for next level badassery actually came to the community talk.

Then later that weekend, about 45 courageous folks came to experience Wim Hof Method workshop.

We were "baptisted" into the ice dunk.

Back in those days, Wim worked with each of us 1-on-1. He shared with us some profoundly powerful advanced breathwork practices that he'd never share in a weekend workshop now.

Backstory:

My 9.5 (soon 10yo) boy was first trained at age 5 to see blindfolded with a trainer named Bohdan, whom I met via Caroline Cory (filmmaker featured in this video). 

Bohdan has since become my very good friend, and together we began offering this to many more families.

In 2024, Bohdan and I activated 34 kids (ages 5-11) in seeing blindfolded. In 2025 we are creating space for 80-100 kids and families. 

So if you have kids age 5-11, we invite you to join us in our upcoming Feb 2025 series.(We work with small groups max 4 kids at a time. In Feb we'll have 5 groups for total 20 max capacity - so space is quite limited, and we guarantee results.)

Note: you'll find several groups offering this; they all get results. Because this is our innate ability! However, as with anything else, please feel deeply into your resonance with the group / practitioners - feel into the high quality integrity, love, pure-heartedness and coherence. You'll naturally feel drawn to one.
