“Strive to distance yourself from anything that brings worry, sorrow, or distress so that you may always remain at ease, with a content and open heart, focused on ALLAH, His worship, and your worldly and spiritual affairs.

If you practice this, you will find relief. However, if you burden yourself with regret over the past or excessive concern for the future in a way not sanctioned by Islamic teachings, know that you will exhaust yourself and miss out on much goodness.”

People will praise or misunderstand you, but neither defines who you are. Know yourself beyond the screen.

Every Good Deed A Righteous Child Does, There Is A Share In that for his/her Father & Mother

A child is an extension of their parents’ legacy, and every righteous deed they perform continues to elevate the status of their parents with Allāh.

Reflect on this deeply:
Our prayers, acts of worship, and service to others are not just personal gains but gifts that transcend our individual lives, flowing back to those who gave us life.

A truly beneficial son or daughter is one who recognizes this profound connection and strives tirelessly to please Allāh, knowing their every act of goodness is a sadaqah jariyah for their parents.

What greater honour could we offer them than to be the reason they find shade under Allāh’s mercy?

Let us not waste the chance to be a source of goodness for them, for this is the ultimate expression of love and devotion.

MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!

Ibn Qayyim رحمه الله stated:

"The Prophet (ﷺ) gathered all aspects of piety in one statement. He (ﷺ) said:

'From the goodness of one's Islām is that he leaves alone that which doesn't concern him.'

This entails leaving off that which doesn't concern (the person)
from speech,
the things one looks at,
the things one listens to,
the things one touches,
the things one walks towards,
the thoughts (of the mind) and
the rest of the outward and inward movements.

This statement (of the Prophet) is remedial and sufficient (being all-inclusive) regarding the (aspects) of piety."

Perfection In A Wife?

Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Al-Uthaymeen [رحمه الله] said:

“Indeed many husbands want their wives to be perfect. This matter is not possible, so due to that husbands fall into worry and concern and are incapable of enjoyment and delight with their wives, and perhaps this could lead to divorce.

Just like the Messenger [ﷺ] said:

«وإن ذهبت تقيمها كسرتها وكسرها طلاقها.»

'If you tried to straighten her you would break her, and breaking her is divorcing her.'

Therefore, it is necessary for the husband to be easy going and overlook everything that a wife does as long as it does not contradict the Deen or nobility.”

The Wisdom Behind Why Singling Out The Month Of Rajab With Fasting Is Makrūh (Disliked)

Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said:

"Exalting 'Ashura' by singling it out was disliked since the People of the Book (i.e. Jews) exalted it; and singling out Rajab is also disliked since the mushrikūn exalted it.

He also said:
"The sunnah has established that singling out Rajab and also singling out the day of Jumu'ah with fasting is disliked. And it has been transmitted by way of the Salaf what indicates to the fact that fasting on the 'Eids of the kuffār - even though fasting is a good deed in itself - is disliked, as precaution not to resemble them and to exalt something that is not permissible to be exalted."

Salaat Ar-Raghi’ib—Bid'ah Alert 🚫

This prayer is offered between Maghrib and ’Isha on the first Friday night in Rajab, and is preceded by fasting on the first Thursday of Rajab.

An-Nawawi -𝗆𝖺𝗒 𝖠𝗅𝗅𝖺𝗁 𝗁𝖺𝗏𝖾 𝗆𝖾𝗋𝖼𝗒 𝗎𝗉𝗈𝗇 𝗁𝗂𝗆- 𝗌𝖺𝗂𝖽:

“The prayer which is known as Salaat Ar-Ragha'ib, which is twelve rakahs that are offered between Maghrib and ‘Isha’ on the night of the first Friday in Rajab, and praying one hundred rakahs on the night of Nusf Shabaan (halfway through Islamic month Sha'aban) are both reprehensible innovations.

No one should be deceived by the fact that they are mentioned in Qoot al-Quloob and Ihya’ ‘Uloom al-Deen, or by the hadeeth which is quoted in these two books, because all of that is false.
No one should be deceived by some of those Imaams who were confused about the ruling on these prayers and wrote essays stating that they are mustahabb (recommended), for they are mistaken in that.
Imaam Abu Muhammad ‘Abd al-Rahmaan ibn Isma’eel al-Maqdisi wrote a valuable book showing that they are false, and he did well in that, may Allah have mercy on him”.

1. Sins carry greater weight—Be mindful of your actions.
2. Good deeds are magnified—Increase your worship and kindness.
3. Repentance is welcomed—Turn back to Allah sincerely.
4. Preparation for Ramadan begins—Use this time to build good habits.

Asking For The Duniya And The Hereafter

From Anas who said that the Prophet [ﷺ] would say this Dua’ a lot:

«اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا، آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً، وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً، وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ.»

“O Allaah our Lord give us goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter and save us from the punishment of The Fire.”

[Collected In Al-Adab Al-Mufrad | Albaani: Isnaad Saheeh, (No. 682)]

Shaykh Muhammad Bin Salih Al-Uthaymeen رحمه الله said:

“From the most comprehensive of what you can supplicate with is what is mentioned in the Hadith of Anas رضي الله عنه that the Prophet ﷺ would say this a lot in his Dua’:

«رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّار.»

Since indeed this Dua’ is the most comprehensive of all Dua’.

«رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً»

'O our Lord give us goodness in this world'

This includes all the goodness of the Duniya:

• From having a righteous spouse,
• Comfortable transport,
• Tranquil home,
• As well as other matters.

«وَفِي الآخِرَةِ  حَسَنَةً»

'Goodness in the Hereafter'

This includes all the goodness of the Hereafter:

• From an easy reckoning,
• Being given your record of deeds in the right hand,
• Easily passing over the Siraat [bridge],
• Drinking from the lake of the Messenger [ﷺ],
• Entry into Paradise,
• As well as other matters from the goodness of the Hereafter.

So this Dua is from the most comprehensive of supplications rather it is the most comprehensive because it is inclusive and complete.”

The Winters

Narrated Abu Hurairah
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

“In very hot weather delay the Dhuhr prayer till it becomes (a bit) cooler because the severity of heat is from the raging of the Hell-fire.

The Hell-fire of Hell complained to its Lord saying:
O Lord! My parts are eating (destroying) one another.

So Allaah allowed it to take two breaths, one in the winter and the other in the summer.
The breath in the summer is at the time when you feel the severest heat and the breath in the winter is at the time when you feel the severest cold.”

• Overthinking about the future causes anxiety (Hamm)

• Overthinking about the past causes sorrow (Hazn)

• Overthinking about what other people have causes grief (Ghamm)

• So, live in the present but work for the Aakhirah.

Ali Ibn Abi Talib رضي الله عنه said:

"The world is moving away from us, and the Hereafter is coming closer towards us and each one of them has sons. So, be from the sons of the Hereafter, and do not be from the sons of the world.
For today (is the time) for action and no Judgment; but tomorrow is (only) Judgment and no action."

[Sahih Al-Bukhari—Chapter: Hoping too much (for longer life)]

Both the Dunya and the Aakhirah seek and are sought after. The one who seeks the Aakhirah, the Dunya chases him till his sustenance has been given to him in complete. And as for the seeker of the Dunya, then the Aakhirah chases him till death overtakes him.
Verily! The happy is the one who chooses the everlasting bliss over the ever perishing world.

It is astonishing to see that those who recite in their prayers:
“He (Allaah) begets not, nor is He begotten”, yet they are seen wishing and celebrating with those who ascribe a son to Allaah!

✘ Do not listen to those who make excuses and say that wishing is not like celebrating.

✘ Christmas is not a part of Christianity, there is nothing in their books to support the claim. The Christians are only imitating the pagans in their rituals.
As Allah تعالى said:

Then, indeed, if you reflect upon the state of some of the enthusiastic individuals, you will find that they have many shortcomings in various matters.

In Times of Distress, Turn to Allah, Not People

Complaining to Allah is not contrary to patience; rather what is contrary to patience is complaining to people.

Complaints should be made only to Allah, this is part of being a true slave of Allah, putting one’s trust in Him alone and expressing one’s need of one’s Lord. It is part of relying on Him alone and being completely independent of people.

“I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allah, and I know from Allah that which you do not know”
[Yoosuf 12:86]

Similarly with regard to Ayyub Alyhis-salaam

“Indeed, adversity has touched me, and you are the Most Merciful of the merciful”
[al-Anbiya’ 21:83].

"When a calamity befalls you, bear it with patience, like a man of dignity, for Allah knows best about your situation.

But if you complain to the son of Adam, then you are only complaining about the Most Merciful to one who has no mercy."

'Don’t give up. Don’t say: I made du’ā, and I didn’t find eman (faith), and I didn’t find khushu’ (humility), and I didn’t find yaqeen (certainty).

Don’t give up, keep asking Allāh, indeed Allāh loves those persistent in du’ā. Maybe it is that Allāh has prevented it the first time for your own benefit, so that He knows your truthfulness and sincerity in your request, because the truthful one in his request persists, and if it (the response) is late, he perseveres, and if Allāh knows the sincerity of your intention, then He, by Allāh, is more generous than you."

A LIFE-LONG REMINDER

On the authority of Abu Abbas Abdullah bin Abbas رضي الله عنه who said: One day I was behind the Prophet [riding on the same mount] and he said,

"O young man, I shall teach you some words [of advice]: Be mindful of Allah and Allah will protect you.

Be mindful of Allah and you will find Him in front of you. If you ask, then ask Allah [alone]; and if you seek help, then seek help from Allah [alone].

And know that if the nation were to gather together to benefit you with anything, they would not benefit you except with what Allah had already prescribed for you.

And if they were to gather together to harm you with anything, they would not harm you except with what Allah had already prescribed against you.

The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried."

because they are of greater harm due to being propagators of their beliefs, unlike al-Yahud wa-Nassará (the Jews and Christians).

Do you complain of life to a servant so poor,
And forget the most High, the Almighty?

You shed your tears for other than Him,
By Allah, this is a grievous sin.

Hardships are like guests; treat them well until they depart to the land of reward, praising and not criticising or complaining

Without these hardships, we would arrive on the day of judgement empty-handed. If the curtains of the unseen were lifted for you, you would love your sorrow. If you saw how those who are patient are rewarded generously, your heart would rejoice, and you would savour every moment of pain.

Jabir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,

Whoever allows the fear of the created to overwhelm the fear of the Creator will miss out on security and will be overtaken by anxiety, and whoever allows caution to suppress initiative will fall into cowardice and reluctance.

Imitation of the Kuffar - Dangerous !

Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-Aas   رضي الله عنه  as collected by Imam al-Bayhaqi with an authentic chain when he said:

“Whosoever lives in the lands of the mushrikin and celebrates their Neyrouz and festivals and keeps imitating them until he dies in that condition, will be resurrected with them on the Day of Resurrection.”

——

It’s surprising to see Muslims celebrating Diwali and bursting crackers—what’s the joy in this for us as Muslims?

Prophet ﷺ warned us about imitating other cultures in ways that stray from our own faith when he said,

"Whoever imitates a people is one of them." [Sunan Abu Dawood, 4031]

Diwali, Birthdays, Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Valentines, and many others are other examples of impermissible celebrations.

The correct answer is "Yes"!

If two scholars are present who are upon the Qur'an and the Sunnah, then you should give precedence to taking knowledge from the one who is elder, because the Prophet said:

"Blessings are with the elders."
[Ibn Hibban 559; Sahih]

And the Prophet said:

'Let the eldest speak.'
[Bukhari 6655]

However, this is conditional, and is only acted upon if the senior scholar is more well versed and just than the younger scholar, and does not neglect the Scripture due to old age.

The Prophet said:

'It is out of glorification of Allah, Almighty, to honor the grey haired old Muslim, and the bearer of the Qur'an who neither exaggerates concerning it nor neglects it, and to honor the just ruler.'

The Truth You’re Avoiding

You're so quick to forward an Islamic quote or a hadith the second you see it. But have you stopped to ask yourself, “Am I living this? Have I even applied a fraction of it in my own life?”
You think you’re collecting rewards by spreading it around, but what good is passing on the truth when you haven’t bothered to live it? Sharing for the sake of appearances is just feeding your ego.

Stop. Reflect. Digest it.

Let it transform you before you push it onto others. Because, honestly, forwarding without action? It’s just empty.

O, Men

How can you let your wife/sister/mother go out in the world, drawing the gaze and musings of distant men?
Enforcing the proper hijab is not a harsh command but a divine obligation, for which you will answer on the Day of Judgment.

Lead your family to honor and shield them from the path that leads to hellfire!

As the keeper of your household, it is your duty to uphold these principles with a steadfast heart.

“Every one of you is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock. The leader of people is a guardian and is responsible for his subjects.
A man is the guardian of his family and he is responsible for them.
A woman is the guardian of her husband’s home and his children and she is responsible for them.
The servant of a man is a guardian of the property of his master and he is responsible for it. No doubt, every one of you is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock.”

Sins weaken the spiritual immune system. To keep the soul strong, one must consistently renew their emaan through repentance and good deeds even if they're small
