Transrail Lighting: It has won new orders worth Rs 2,752 crore, primarily from the transmission and distribution segment. Year-to-date order inflows have now surpassed Rs 7,400 crore.

Tata Power: TP Solar Ltd., the solar manufacturing arm of Tata Power Co., has secured a contract worth approximately Rs 632 crore from Solar Energy Corp.

PNC Infratech: Hardoi Highways, a subsidiary of the company, has completed a Rs 864-crore road project in Uttar Pradesh. As a result, the company is eligible for an early completion bonus of Rs 14.2 crore from the National Highways Authority of India.

LIC: It has received a demand order for goods and services tax, interest and penalty amounting to Rs 480 crore from the Maharashtra tax authority for financial year 2020–21.

RVNL: The company has received a letter of acceptance from Central Railway to construct a new power station aimed at enabling trains to carry heavier loads (3,000 tonnes) on the Bhusaval-Khandwa line. This project is valued at Rs 136 crore.

Coal India: The company will impose an additional charge of Rs 300 per tonne on top of the notified price across all mines of NCL starting May 1. This charge is expected to generate additional revenue of Rs 3,877.5 crore.

Kernex Microsystems (India): It received a letter of acceptance for a project worth Rs 325.3 crore from the Southeastern Railway. The contract includes "supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Kavach on GD and GQ routes" along with associated works on the section of Kharagpur and Chakradharpur division.

GE Power India: It received an order for an additional 320MW vertical Francis pump turbine unit from Greenko KA01 IREP Pvt., increasing the total contract value by Rs 273.5 crore.

Jindal Stainless: The company has acquired a 100% equity stake in AGH Dreams Pvt. and Utkrisht Dream Ventures Pvt.

Chemplast Sanmar: The company, along with its subsidiary Chemplast Cuddalore Vinyls, has entered into a power purchase agreement with JSW Green Energy Nine. They have also agreed to acquire equity shares in JSW Green Energy Nine through a separate agreement with JSW Neo Energy.

Tata Steel:
The company acquired stake for the value of Rs 2,603 crore in Singapore-based arm T Steel Holdings Pvt. The firm had acquired a stake worth Rs 2,348 crore in T Steel Holdings on Aug. 28, 2024.

Ceigall India: The firm completed financing Rs 2,499 crore for road projects.

Mahindra & Mahindra: The board gave their approval to M&M Financial in order to raise up to Rs 3,000 crore via rights issue and Mahindra Lifespace Developers to raise up to Rs 1,500 crore via rights issue.

NTPC Green Energy: The firm signed a memorandum of understanding with Bharat Light and Power in order to achieve a carbon neutral economy. They plan to jointly explore the offtake of green hydrogen and its derivatives.

Vedanta: The Vedanta Group is seeking bids from global firms for building five gigawatts of nuclear power capacity in India, which the mining conglomerate plans to use for meeting energy needs at its facilities according to Bloomberg.

Religare Enterprises: The Burman Group acquired control of Religare Enterprises, following a prolonged tussle that involved the financial services firm's ousted chairperson Rashmi Saluja and the US-based investor Danny Gaekwad.

Cipla: The company received approval from the US Food And Drug Administration for New Drug Application submitted for Nilotinib capsules. Nilotinib is used in the treatment of Philadelphia Chromosome positive chronic myeloid leukemia.

Action Construction Equipment: The firm received an order worth Rs 420 crore from Defence Ministry.

Narayana Hrudayalaya: The company is set to invest Rs 900 crore in the first phase for a hospital in Kolkata. It plans to add 1,100 beds in Kolkata hospital.

RVNL: The company has signed Project Implementation Agency Agreement with Bharat Sanchar Nigam in consortium with HFCL.

Hero MotoCorp: The firm announced a record interim dividend of Rs 100 per share, having nominal value of Rs 2 each, for the fiscal 2024-25. Its standalone net profit rose 12.1% year-on-year to Rs 1,203 crore in the three months ended Dec. 31, 2024, and revenue increased 5% to Rs 10,211 crore.

Zomato: The company approved a name change to Eternal Ltd. Chief Executive Officer Deepinder Goyal told shareholders that the change applies only to the company, not the brand or application. The stock ticker will change from ZOMATO to ETERNAL.Zomato

ITC: The firm has declared an interim dividend of Rs 6.5 per equity share having a face value of Rs 10 each for the fiscal ending March 31, 2025. The company also posted a marginal rise of 1.18% in the standalone net profit in the December quarter of the current financial year.

Bharti Airtel: Bharti Airtel will transfer around 12,700 towers for up to Rs 2,174.6 crore, to Indus Towers. The company also announced its consolidated net profit which surged over fourfold sequentially in the third quarter of the current financial year, beating analysts' estimates.

Bharti Hexacom: Bharti Hexacom will sell approximately 3,400 towers for up to Rs 1,134.1 crore to Indus Towers.

Indus Towers: The company's board approved the acquisition of telecom towers from Bharti Airtel & Bharti Hexacom through slump sale for an aggregate of Rs 3,309 crore.

Bajaj Finserv: Bajaj Allianz's subsidiary, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co., reported a general insurance premium of Rs 1,331 crore for the month, while another subsidiary, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co., recorded a total life insurance premium of Rs 1,055 crore.

Vedanta: To consider issuance of non-convertible debentures on private placement basis on Feb. 11.

Britannia Industries:
The company's consolidated net profit grew 4.6% in the third quarter of the current financial year, beating analysts' estimates.The biscuit maker posted a profit of Rs 582 crore in the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2024.
