Good evening everyone
When a picture is shown to you, moreover a particular scene is shown then it is not necessary to find out a problem in that scene. Try to place yourself in that picture and think what you would be doing . In case you see a river then it doesn’t mean you have to create a problem and then find its solution.
Think- when and why you go to riverside???
You definitely can write problems but only when you can give appropriate solutions to that. You must know how that problem can be solved and what your hero is supposed to do for that.

Also you can write stories with problems when you yourself or someone known to you has solved that problem.

Try to write stories which can project you and your ideas.

Good luck

TIPS FOR WRITING TAT STORY

While writing TAT story, the most important thing is to keep your mind relaxed as it will help you in observing picture carefully. Various steps while writing story are :

# STORY SHOULD BE WRITTEN IN SIMPLE PAST TENSE
.

1. OBSERVATION: The candidate is required is to observe the picture carefully which means, carefully watch whether it is rural background or urban, some family background or professional, persons, objects, or both. Check gender of the persons shown in the picture. Are they sitting or standing or discussing or enjoying. These observations will help you in constructing a story based on the picture rather than pre- conceived stories.

2. CONSTRUCTION OF THE STORY:
The story should contain three parts which are , Introduction, Action and Conclusion.
Introduction of the story should be minimal, it shouldn't be more than 2-3 lines, 3 lines are maximum for it. For example if the hero of your story is Sarpanch of the village then instead of writing- Sandeep was the Sarpanch of the abc village, you should write - Being a sarpanch, Sandeep decided to ......then continue your story.
This will help you in increasing your action part and minimise the intro and also save your time.
Give designation to your hero only if your story required otherwise if your story based on some personal incident then do not give any designation, simple start with the incident.

3. ACTION : The most important part of the story is your action, this shows the truly you and approach. The assessor is only concerned with the action part of the story , on the basis of which he assess whether you have OLQs or not.
Therefore, try to write more n more actions in your story.
Action is what hero does, if he got stuck in a problem, how he solved it or the steps he took while solving it. If preparing for some competition then how did he prepared, each n everything he did to achieve his/ her goal. If went to some place for picnic then steps he took for the planning, how he planned, how he executed and in last how he felt. Write all your feelings in this part , be it happiness, sadness, amazing, excited, use all these words.

4. Conclusion : In last, just conclude your story, he felt __ and continued his work for the betterment or simply enjoyed with his friends. The hero should be satisfied with his/her actions, this is the main crux . Whether hero is satisfied with the actions he did ,this shows confidence in his/her decision making power.

I hope I tried to explain it but in case anyone wants then can mail me for sample stories and I will help in story improvements.

Good morning everyone
I hope you all are preparing for your SSBs well.

INTERVIEW TIP: ROLE OF READING INSPIRATIONAL BOOKS

As I have started this channel to help students for their SSB preparations.
Especially for interview you really need to have a positive attitude and that will not only reflect from your body language but also from the answers which you are supposed to give.
You can prepare GK and your subject related questions but when there’s questions regarding societal development and your views on different national & international issues you must take a balanced approach and must take approach for the greater good.
How can you sound mature and wise while answering???
Well what I used to do is to read books- inspirational & motivational books which helps in complete transformation of thought process and after reading those books you will feel change in your thinking and you start seeing world with a different perspective. It will help you in your interview answers- be it your personality related questions or societal based questions.
After all they are assessing your approach towards different things and IO will check it by creating some situations and then he will check how you are going to handle those.
You will be able to answer with logical and practical points as we need to give answers not only to the questions asked but also we need to tell why we think that this is the answer- give reason for your answers as to why I consider this as a solution to a particular situation or problem.
Therefore, start reading books to enhance your personality and think with a wider interpretation .

RECOMMENDATION UPDATE:

I am so glad to inform you that my student Kultaz who contacted me via email after reading my answers on Quora. He used to send me his stories and other answers on email and I replied there. He got recommended for AFCAT but got merited out, he joined good company and got great salary package. But he was always keen to join forces and remained in contact. He only suggested me to start helping students on Telegram and helped me starting this. I am late while sharing this great news due to some personal reasons.

But yes, finally he got recommended again for Tech entry and will be joining academy soon .

His dedication and passion for forces shows that if you can dream it, you can definitely achieve it.

All the very best to him and I will always be thankful to him .
