I just helped another referral of mine this morning to log back into her Pi account successfully through this same process. Her Pi connection to Facebook was "expired".

Go to your Facebook app. Go to your settings. Locate "apps and websites". Check whether your Pi app connection status says "Active" or "Expired". If it has expired, click on it and click on renew to make it active again before attempting to use the "Continue with Facebook" method to log back into your Pi account.

Your Pi account may be lost if this is not observed and Facebook is the only access you have to your Pi account.

RESET YOUR PASSWORD NOW VIA EMAIL.

We’ve all waited for this day to come so here it is, with the multiple challenges faced by thousands of not millions of pioneers trying to recover their #piaccounts via resetting their passwords using phone numbers which was a huge barrier for certain pioneers.

Some pioneers probably due to allegedly MTN network issues couldn’t reset their passwords as when asked to send code to designated Foreign number provided, it almost never 👎 work or didn’t go through to many while some it’ll go through and they’ll get charged financially for it but they won’t get the option to reset since the application will keep loading and loading like forever.

This E-Mail update is a game changer as #openmainnet approaches and i think it’s a great strategy by the #picoreteam for inclusivity as they’ve always talked about since this update alone will give thousands if not millions of #piuser back their accounts which they’ve been battling to regain access to for weeks,months and years.

Lets do it:

Current migrated wallets: 6.9 million, 7 million rounded.
Total migrated to blockchain is 4.5B,
Locked: 3.2B
Available: 1.3B

If there is 10 million migrated people at the launch, as per the current statistics, more or less 1.5 to 1.8 Billion Tokens will be available in circulation.

Current Market cap shows the circulating market cap is $4.54B.

Then if Pi CT restricts the available supply to 1,445,000,000 (1.45B) at the launch:

🚨 Pioneers, the new update about spending Pi to update your name for KYC doesn't mean you can go update your name and pay Pi without submitting a KYC application.

This update is for pioneers whose KYC were rejected due to name differences. After such rejection, a pioneer can then choose to update their Pi account name to match their KYC document name. This process will cause you to forfeit some Pi as a penalty.

This is what the PCT means by spending Pi to update your name.

So stop worrying about how to update your name if your KYC has not been rejected.

If you have not submitted KYC and your account name does match your KYC name, you should go ahead to apply for KYC like that, whenever you are able to. When your KYC is rejected, you can then spend Pi to update your name.

📍A lot of misinformation have been circulating amongst the pi ecosystem from elonmusk subscribing to PiNewsMedia to #Kosashi who’s allegedly is a Picoreteam member, not withstanding the #github GCV saga where pioneers misinterpret GCV price code written by common coders to that of PiCoreTeam accepting GCV 😅

📍Nonetheless,we’ve had some growth so far in the #picommunity where by I’d like to say I’ve finally received my pi app update on IOS after a long wait like by brother WoodyLightyearx 😅

📍Also, I’m pleased to confirm the #picoreteam are now officially reaching to #Pioneers via mail to those who’s submitted an appeal or reached out to them for probably one of many reasons.

📍In addition, there’s been an update in the #piapp stating two things to be done to be done so as to help unlock 🔓 #kyc action if executed;

🎯 Pioneers who were rejected due to differences in their Pi account name and their real name in ID documents should either spend Pi to update their name or appeal to resubmit their KYC application.

🎯 Second, Pioneers can edit small typos (up to 2 digits) in their account phone number if it’s not verified. Applicable Pioneers should edit this through their profile settings in the Pi mining app now, especially if they have a tentative KYC status and need to use their correct number to reset their password and verify their account.

📍And lastly, how’s it possible that #scam ads are been displayed in the #piapp who’s meant to be the safest environment for pioneers, how did the PiCoreTeam let this happen ?

🚨 SMS Verification Issue on Pi Network. MTN

Since the PCT pushed a fix for pioneers unable to recover their accounts through SMS verification, many pioneers still have not been able to verify and get back their accounts.

This problem has been noted among MTN users. So far, I have not seen an MTN user successfully go through the SMS verification process. But other users are verifying and recovering successfully.

So my dear pioneers, if you wait for MTN to fix your problem, I am quite certain that you will lose your Pi by January 31st. Therefore, if you know your Pi is important to you, use other network.

In just 10 days we’ve had so much going on in the #PiNetwork environment than we’ve had in months starting from #piapp updates which has moved from V1. 38.2 to V1. 39 . Slowly unfolding from region to region as some #Pioneers have updated theirs while others are desperate awaiting theirs like me and #WoodyLightyearx 😅

But it looks like the new update came with a sudden appearance of a 21st countdown from the #PiCoreTeam ,warning us if our referrals team don’t get migrated by the end of #graceperiod which is from now till January 31st, we will not receive any #pi attributed to their contribution in our mining ⛏️ session on our second migration. Looks like the pi app update came with this countdown as a gift perhaps 😅

Then it gets even interesting afterwards as the megaminds behind this outstanding project, no one else but the #PiCoreTeam released an announcement 📣 on #Pitv 📺 (Home Screen). Calling all pioneers to take actions in completing our mainnet checklist because this could be why some of us #pioneers have been stocked in tentative KYC and haven’t received our migration for a very long time now.

Your tentative KYC status or long wait for full KYC results and migration may be caused by your need to complete actions. For example, some Pioneers need to complete additional liveness checks (make sure the video is clear with good lighting). When prompted in the mining app for such additional liveness checks, please take the liveness checks and do not close the popup.

Sign the token acknowledgment even if you are still waiting for your KYC results as it is required for anyone to migrate to Mainnet anyway.

Others must secure their account as required in the Mainnet Checklist. Check your KYC app and Mainnet Checklist today and take actions when prompted in order to receive your final KYC results and get ready for migration as soon as possible!

An initial 20 Pi apps are included, with more apps to come in the future. Pioneers can explore these Mainnet Pi apps, but exercise caution and use them at your own risk because they are not developed or endorsed by Pi Network.

As per this definition of what #bonds are, it is but normal in my opinion that those exchanges who came up and started listing #pi on their exchange in the form of #iou I believe there’s been something that transpired behind scenes we no not off before this exchange started listing #pi as IOU on their exchanges.

This alone makes us understand #pinetwork is a Bond reason why exchanges get it listed as #iou which in return raise an alarming question?

Where will they get the #pi to pay those who bought those IOU on those various exchanges?

What if #picoreteam is behind this as a fundraising strategy from all this exchanges so as to fund Pinetwork offering Pinetwork IOU to exchanges users to those who are willing to get it at the current market price and in return when pinetwork #openmainnet is here, they’ll give those various exchanges pi equivalent to the sold IOU on their exchanges?

Let’s all remember the IOU saga lasted for long before the #picoreteam came out with a public notice. But still after the notice, exchanges are still listing Pi IOU.

As per #KrisKozma PiFest 2.0 is starting next week where it's time to finally kickstart the commerce app(s) that have been been built. Map of Pi seems to be the preferred option, so if you have any business, make sure you put it on the the map. If you do not, then still check the app out, see if you find any local Pi business near you.

We're inching towards open mainnet every day, the election in the US in 10 days, if #trump wins, the bullrun likely starts getting momentum and hopefully we transition to open mainnet as the market turns optimistic. #KamalaHarris winning would be a major L and a huge stepback.

Migration numbers are climbing, although still slowly, all things considered, but at the end of the day, it is #PiCoreTeam that will make the decision to start OM.

Even if we do not hit the required numbers, due to too many people inactive for instance, @PiCoreTeam can always go ahead with the transition earlier.

Now I see some individuals on social media emphasizing they won’t accept anything below GCV price for a #pitoken coming open mainnet refusing the starting price to be $39.9 or below $100 as seen on several platforms I seat back and laugh out loud.

If and i repeat IF PI PRICE STARTS AT $39.9 it’s exceptionally GREAT because for me personally even if it starts below $5 I don’t have a problem since it’s beginning price doesn’t define its end. Given its #ecosystem utility base platform in place its price will skyrocket after a few years when these ecosystem wouldve had the time to mature.


I urge #Pioneer please let’s be realistic and real with ourselves and stop been ungrateful with high expectations, it won’t get you anywhere at all and instead of running our mouths on social media here and there about pi let’s focus that same energy in building something for ourselves on the #blockchain before it goes public so as to take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity.

📢 Notice for all Pi KYC issues

Pioneers,
Have you submitted Pi KYC but it's been more than a month and still not verified? 🤔

Don't worry, here is what you need to do:

1⃣ Go to Pi App 📱

2⃣ Find and click the three lines in the top left corner of the screen ☰

3⃣ Scroll down and click on Profile, copy your username and email address (email must be verified) ✉️✔️

4⃣ Go back and click on the three lines again ☰

5⃣ Find and click on Support Portal, it will take you to Chrome browser 🌐

6⃣ Scroll down under Suggested Forms and click on "KYC Email Request" 📨

7⃣ Fill out the form with the correct details 📝

8⃣ After filling the form carefully, submit the KYC application

👇 You are facing any problem, choose one of these options:

• Problem on first screen (consent, age, country, ID type)

• Error uploading ID document
