If you do your research, you will find that this is the practice globally. If your accounts or assets are frozen and you are asked to pay a bond, you aren't given the freedom/chance to make any financial reference or recourse to those same frozen assets. I can point you to Donald Trump's case with the state of New York (AG Letitia James) as an example of the generality of this practice.

Secondly, appealing to revoke a bond/fine payment is only possible after you have actually paid it. Not before.

So please, don't feel as if Mr Khan ignored you. It just wasn't a productive conversation. These guys are working tooth and nail to try and secure the needed funds to clear this fine. Thanks for at least making some form of effort.

I'm trying on my end. PFC is trying. I know the efforts they're also putting in. You guys also need to make your own efforts if truly you want us to overcome this obstacle, and not just complain all day or be asking for updates.

We understand there is a misconception that PFC is intentionally seeking to burden our Nigerian investors by requesting loans to pay the £8,500 fine imposed as a result of an immigration compliance issue involving Mr. Joshua Osifo, who is of Nigerian origin. We would like to clarify that this interpretation is unfounded.

To provide context, Mr. Osifo was recruited by PFC UK Ltd. for his specialized expertise, including his role as a liaison for our Nigerian investors. Due to the value he brought to our operations and with the aim of establishing stronger support for investors, PFC made a decision to expedite his involvement despite being aware that his immigration status was temporary. This decision was not taken lightly, but in our view, it was a calculated business choice to serve our investors, though it was in technical violation of UK immigration laws.

Unfortunately, a recent unrelated legal matter involving Mr. Osifo led to an investigation that revealed his immigration status, resulting in PFC being penalized with a substantial fine.
