The Reactive x BRETT Campaign Is Officially Closed!

In December we launched a joint campaign with the BasedBrett team to make BRETT into the first ever Reactive Meme Coin by adding a trading leaderboard and dynamic custom PFPs for participants, with the promise of awarding the top traders of the $BRETT token with a share of a $30,000 prize pool at the end of the campaign!

Now after 30 days and over 35M in accumulated volume among participating traders, the campaign is officially over and the leaderboard has been updated for the final time! The Non-Locking FlashLoan Protocol

Created by our winner, Maniveer. His design offers an alternative to a traditional flash loan protocol by utilizing Reactive Smart Contracts to allow users to retain full control of their tokens whilst participating as a liquidity provider. By enabling simultaneous liquidity provision and asset utilization, redefining the current flash loan dynamics.

Reactive Town Hall Summary

On Thursday we joined our CEO Rong Kai and CTO Daniil to debrief on the Reactive Testnet, discuss the upcoming Mainnet launch and learn more about their plans for the PRQ > REACT swap. You can check out the whole recording here but for those who want the TLDR, here's a short summary:

Testnet

1️⃣ Improvements made across the board in many areas such as consensus and event relaying mechanisms.
2️⃣ Team has learned a lot about the challenges of building with ETH tech stack on PoS.
3️⃣ Many bugs and issues have been identified and successfully resolved with fixes which can be implemented in the first iteration of Reactive Mainnet.

Mainnet

1️⃣ Multi work streams running to prepare for mainnet launch with work taking place on validation network, nodes and hardware as well as our staking, bridging and swap mechanisms.
2️⃣ Mainnet launching initally only on EVM chains with large volume with further chains added regularly.
3️⃣ Setting up your own nodes will be possible but won't be available initially at launch to allow us to ensure stability before introducing fully decentralized validator nodes.
4️⃣ On good pace for mainnet launch, current timeframe is dictated primarily by discussions with centralized exchanges with a commitment to list REACT on at least one new exchange at launch.

PRQ ♻️ REACT Bridge

Ensuring fairness for all PRQ holders is important for us so we're introducing some important changes to the original PRQ / REACT bridge concept which means that we'll be offering long-term support for not only a PRQ > REACT bridge but a two-way bridge allowing users to swap REACT > PRQ also.

What this means is that holders of PRQ will have the guarantee of long-term support, no matter where they choose to hold their tokens and won't have to worry about missing out. We'll be offering this functionality on our own portal to ensure the smoothest experience possible for users.

Our expert judging panel are hard at work assessing all of the amazing submissions we've received from our hackathon, we had initially hoped to get all of our winners lined up tomorrow but since we've had so many promising projects submitted we wanted to ensure we give our judges enough time to work, unfortunately that means the winners announcement will be slightly delayed.

Last Wednesday saw the deadline for our Reactive Cross-Chain Lending challenge. We received several high quality submissions for the bounty, which each matched all of our requirements so picking a winner was no easy task!

Workshop

This week we'll be covering the introduction of a $35k grant for the creation of Reactive dApps and Protocols, we'll detail:

3️⃣ What we'll be expecting from participants
4️⃣ Timeframe and milestones for distribution of funds

ETH Singapore Presentation

As many of you know, Reactive Network CEO Rong Kai took to the stage at ETH Singapore again this year with some of the top builders in the Ethereum ecosystem, including Vitalik himself, who spoke shortly before Rong Kai!

He introduced Reactive Network to the crowd, explained where it fits into the EVM space and gave some insight into what's coming next.
