$ORN to $LUMIA Migration

The migration from $ORN to $LUMIA is a key step in the growth of the Lumia platform. Starting October 18, $ORN holders can easily swap their tokens for $LUMIA at a 1:1 ratio.

If you hold your $ORN tokens on Binance or crypto.com, the swap will happen automatically. However, if you use DeFi wallets like MetaMask or Trust Wallet, you’ll need to follow a few simple steps to convert your tokens.

Crypto.com is supporting $ORN to $LUMIA Mainnet Token Swap and Rebranding

Trading, deposits, and withdrawals of ORN on the ERC-20 network will be suspended from 15 October 2024 onwards.

The 1:1 reissue of $ORN to $LUMIA tokens is expected to take place at a later date to be announced. No action is required from users of the App and Exchange.

As preparations are almost complete for the token swap from $ORN to $LUMIA, we want to thank both our old and new community members for your unwavering support.

We've been heads down building and want to share an update in anticipation of our upcoming Token Swap Event.

Our new tokenomics will transition from 92,631,255 ORN to 238,888,888 LUMIA. The increase of 146,257,633 tokens will be entirely allocated to the community, with 50.21% for node rewards and 49.79% for community incentives across our L2 and Lumia Stream.

No new tokens go to the team—all will be kept in public addresses for full transparency. 50.21% of tokens are allocated to node rewards and vested over 20 years to soften the release of tokens to the market. ~70% of nodes already committed to locking for 12-24 months, surpassing expectations. Final numbers will be shared soon.

The other 49.79% is solely reserved for community airdrops, grants, and incentives. Lumia will introduce “elevated governance”, what we consider as the new paradigm in the old and boring DAO initiatives. Our first DAO proposal will be the Lumia HODLer airdrop, rewarding loyal ORN token holders. Details will soon follow.

We have also made significant progress in our tech with many incredible integrations and partnerships to be announced.

Lumia Stream has made many new partnerships that will be bringing our liquidity to over 10 million users and growing with each new partner. We have been working closely with top CEXs, DEXs, aggregators, wallets, and chains to further bolster the most robust liquidity source in all of Web3.

Lumia L2 is ahead of development schedule, as our testnet is growing immensely with our first cohort of ecosystem projects beginning to interact with our L2. We are excited to share that we have more than 10 projects already confirmed to launch on our chain, with many more in discussions.

Our first ecosystem project, Electra, is launching in the coming days. We are proud to support Electra as we provide them with the ultimate infrastructure for traditional digital asset and soon RWA perpetual future trading. More on Electra here: electra.trade

With our vision growing, our team has also grown significantly. We’ve added many seasoned professionals to our team, with a new advisory board and many familiar faces to be announced at a later date.

Our most recent strategic round with Laser Digital, DWF Labs, and TRGC has been a huge success, positioning Lumia to stand out in the RWA space.

With the above progress, it’s clear that Lumia is making large strides towards achieving our vision and others have been taking notice.
