ભગવાનના નામનો જાપ કરવાથી તમામ દુર્ગુણો દૂર થાય છે અને દયા, ક્ષમા, નિઃસ્વાર્થતા વગેરે જેવા દૈવી ગુણો પ્રગટ થાય છે. મંત્રનો જાપ કરવાથી જૂના વિકારો દૂર થાય છે, જાપ કરનાર કોમળ બને છે અને તેની આધ્યાત્મિક શક્તિ વધે છે. મંત્ર જાપ કરવાથી મન શુદ્ધ બને છે. શરીર ના દરેક કણો શુદ્ધ થવા લાગે છે.
મનુષ્ય આધ્યાત્મિકતા તરફ વાળવા લાગે છે.
