Our junior Model African Union (MAU) representatives of bright young minds, guided and mentored by our senior Model United Nations (MUN) club members, began a remarkable journey to Greece Community School for their first-ever Model African Union event.

With an atmosphere of curiosity and collaboration, our junior delegates joined peers across Addis Ababa to discuss pressing global issues, focusing on African challenges. The day was filled with spirited debates, insightful discussions, and valuable learning experiences that inspired and empowered our students.

Our junior youths continued a heartfelt mission to Beshale Primary School. With a spirit of generosity, they brought sanitary materials to support students who could not afford them and to minimize girls' absenteeism.

It wasn’t just a simple donation—our students took the time to share an important lesson on puberty and how to use the items properly, ensuring the students understood their significance.

It was a day filled with compassion and learning as our junior youths demonstrated the power of kindness and care for others.

In celebration of the virtue of Caring, our primary students at One Planet International School had the opportunity to share this value with the Neighbouring Beshale Primary School.

The students brought along potted plants, each labelled with a different virtue, symbolizing growth and nurturing through care.

They also presented a beautiful painting that they created, expressing their vision of what Caring looks like.

To further spread the message, they sang a heartfelt song and shared their reflections on the importance of caring for others and the environment.

"Life Skill Lesson: Caring for Our Teeth"

Dear Parents / Guardians,

Our Year 1 and 2 students had a special visitor at One Planet International School! A dental surgeon from Royal Dental Clinic came to give an engaging life skills lesson on how to take care of their teeth.

The students eagerly gathered, listening closely as the surgeon shared simple, practical tips on brushing and the importance of regular check-ups.

With bright smiles and plenty of questions, the students learned the importance of dental hygiene in a fun and interactive way. It was a delightful experience, and we are confident that they will be bringing home some valuable tips on how to take care of their teeth!
