Final result for 2024 was declared few days ago…

Few things we all can learn from some of selected candidates

1. Perseverance: AIR 1 Sagar has appeared for 3 UPSC Geoscientist Interview. Apart from this he has also appeared for UPSC CSE interview as well. Every time he missed the race by very few inches.Even after so many failures he also stand up and come back with even more motivation. Whenever people feel defeated after one or two prelims or mains can learn from him. Not all toppers are born genius. They are also among us and it is the hardships which everyone needs to overcome, you can crib or overcome , sometimes it’s your choice.

2. Managing time: AIR 9 Ramneet has also appeared 2-3 times for Geoscientist interview. She took a break and started with some job and gave again and was finally recommended…

There might be numerous stories, each candidate is a story in itself you can take motivation from. They have gone through the same difficulties which you feel you are going through and also the same unanswered questions which are haunting you.

This incompleteness is the life and learning is a journey. It is never complete and never ending process.
In the end this is just an exam and not the life. And there is list of recommended and there are not recommended candidates. There is nothing like successful or failed candidates. If you learn and grow, you’re successful. It does not matter if you’re recommended or not.

Life always gives you many chances and many opportunities.

βœ… What should you do before UPSC Geoscientist Prelims exam ?

🟒 Revise Previous Year Question Papers.
🟒 Glance once again through the repeated question areas.
🟒 Revise important formulas in physical, Exception’s from Inorganic chemistry.
🟒 Revise important areas for GS Paper 1.
🟒 Try to attempt Full length mock test for practice and time management.
🟒 Most important thing is that Trust you and Trust your preparation.
🟒 Self-confidence is the key; not knowledge!
In the exam hall what matters most is your calmness, composure, smart-thinking, and sharpness of mind. Knowledge is important, but that is only secondary.
Whatever knowledge you have acquired, if you over-stress and panic at the exam hall, you are likely to make mistakes. That may even cost you a year.
