FOR THE SHAREHOLDERS OF RECENTLY LISTED IPO OF VISHAL MEGA MART
Vishal Mega Mart shares emerge as a Mutual Fund favourite post listing.
Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs), at the end of the December quarter, had a 6.47% stake in Vishal Mega Mart. Prominent among the FPI names was the Government of Singapore, which had a 1.67% stake.
According to a note from Nuvama Alternative and Quantitative Research, Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund purchased Vishal Mega Mart shares worth ₹250 crore in December, while Axis Mutual Fund bought shares worth ₹380 crore.

-Initially in Sept 2024, Price Band was expected around ₹ 25-30. GMP was more than 100% at that time.
-In October, news came of ₹ 40-50 price band. Demand remained same.
-In November, it came to know that Price Band may come around ₹ 120-125. All GMP vanished.
-Finally IPO Price came at ₹ 108. And there is hardly any interest.
This is the story of much awaited IPO of NTPC Green Energy for which most of the IPO Investors added 1 share of parent company for eligibility in Shareholder's Quota.
A perfect example that how steep pricing can kill all the enthusiasm.

Swiggy is internally aiming for a company valuation of $12.5 billion-13.5 billion for its upcoming IPO, cutting its target by 10-16% due to market volatility, two people with direct knowledge said on Thursday.
The two sources said Swiggy is expected to list on 13th Nov on Mumbai bourses, and open the IPO for subscriptions in the week before that, though the date could change slightly.
