Here are some common Q&A that we had during SLF!

1)
Q: I have close to zero knowledge in cybersecurity. Can I join?
A: Yes, you can! What is more important is your drive to explore more about cybersecurity and desire to contribute back to the CCA. Not to worry, our current members will also be guiding you through our own series of internal training workshops!

2)
Q: Must I be a CS or InfoSec major?
A: Nope! We also have students from FASS and Engineering among us too!

3)
Q: What is the difference between a member and a non-member from the general NUS student population?
A: Non-members are only invited to join us in SecWeds and public events like GreyCTF Summit. Members do have a priority when it comes to events with limited vacancy. On top of that, members are only invited for our own internal training workshops.

4)
Q: What is the commitment like for a member?
A: Besides the weekly 7-9pm Wednesday session, members are also expected to help in at least one of our committees to support our events such as GreyCTF and HackBash.

5):
Q: I cannot make it for the welcome tea. Does this mean I cannot sign up for NUS Greyhats?
A: Not to worry! We will be sending out the sign-up forms as well. If you have questions, feel free to DM our Instagram account or share your questions in our NUS Greyhats discord server.

6)
Q: Does my WelcomeCTF performance affect my chances to join the CCA?
A: Nope! However, it does show your willingness to learn and explore in this field!
