First, what is decentralized computing? Traditionally, you’d rely on a central server or data center for computing resources. With decentralized computing, resources are shared across many devices—laptops, servers, and even smart gadgets—around the world.
Think of decentralized computing like Uber. Just as Uber connects drivers with riders, decentralized computing connects people needing computing power with those who have some to share. It’s all about a flexible, shared network of resources!
Next up, orchestration. In computing, orchestration is the way we manage these resources—ensuring devices work smoothly together, like assigning tasks to the right devices at the right time.

It’s a way to organize jobs where each task can have smaller tasks within it, creating a hierarchy. This helps manage complex jobs in decentralized systems.
🛠️ What We’re Doing
We’re refining the structure so each job includes an “orchestrator” to manage the whole workflow. This makes sure everything runs smoothly across machines.
🔑 Why It Matters
It allows more complex job setups, making NuNet even more powerful and scalable for decentralized computing.

Soon, this feature will bring better orchestration for workflows—paving the way for advanced job handling in our decentralized ecosystem.

Easily onboard your devices to the decentralized network. Test how your device can participate in job execution, helping us build a stronger and more versatile computing platform.

Since tokenomics and crypto payments are not yet available in this version, job deployment is limited to Device Management Services (DMSs) that users either control or have access to, as granted by the device owners.
🎯 Why This Matters By controlling the deployment environment, we ensure secure and reliable job orchestration. Users can confidently deploy jobs on DMSs within their control, providing enhanced security and better management of decentralized job execution—without opening it to the public network. This sets the foundation for a more secure and efficient decentralized ecosystem.
⚙️ How It Works The orchestrator receives a job request, processes bids, and allocates resources based on network constraints. If needed, the orchestrator reassigns allocations, ensuring smooth job execution and network stability.
📊 Provider Considerations Providers must track and ensure reserved resources are available and not overcommitted. Accurately tracking in-use resources allows providers to respond to bid requests efficiently and optimizes overall resource allocation.
🔍 Looking Ahead While Controlled Job Deployment is the focus of v0.5, intermediate releases, such as RC1, RC2, and RC3, will introduce tokenomics support, though crypto payments are out of scope for now. Stay tuned for these updates as we push toward Release Candidate 1 and beyond!
