We are excited to announce 3MTT Hackathon 2.0 tagged TechForGood!

This is the time to show off the knowledge gained over the weeks of learning, collaborate with other fellows within your State, and win awesome prizes in the 3MTT Hackathon done across every state and the FCT.

To be a part of this:

1. Form or join a team of 3 consisting of Cohort 2 fellows across any learning track.

WEEK 19 Reflection Task: Quick Impact Challenge
Deadline: Monday, 28th October - Thursday, 31st October.

Impact Challenge: This week, take a quick practical action to create an immediate impact in your work, community, or personal life. Your solution should create an impact in 24 hours.
Steps:
1. Choose a Task: Select a minor challenge (e.g., Improving engagement in your 3MTT whatsapp group).

2. Apply Solutions: Use program tools (e.g., data insights, tech skills, engaging content) to address it.

3. Track Impact: Note any measurable improvement (e.g., more engagement, webinar attendance).

4. Reflect: Write a 150-200 word piece on your task and its outcome.
5. Post on any social media tagging #My3MTT and #3MTTWeeklyReflection

Opens Tuesday (15th Oct) and will end Thursday (17th Oct)

Task: Pitch yourself in a 2-minute video to a potential employer, investor, or collaborator, showcasing your skills, most strategic 3MTT learning and how you'll use it to create an innovative solution to a real-world problem.

Instructions:
1. Identify a Problem/challenge
2. Propose a Solution: Outline how your 3MTT skills (tech, leadership, project management) can solve this problem.
3. Strategic Roadmap: Present a plan with key steps, collaborators, and resources needed for implementation.
4. Personal Brand: Highlight how your 3MTT journey makes you the ideal person to lead this project.
5. Pitch yourself to a company that you think will be willing to hire you based on your proposed solution. Ensure to tag the said company to your social media post.

Task: Create a visual roadmap of the steps needed to reach your career goals.

Instructions:
In 300-500 words, share where you see yourself in the next 5 years with the skill you’re currently learning.

*Please highlight some or all of the followings;*

• What specific job or role do you envision yourself in?
• What steps will you take to get there? Mention the projects, certifications or portfolios you will pursue(listing 3MTT as one) to achieve your career vision.
• Identify any mentors (locally or internationally) who inspire you or whose guidance you might seek to help you reach your goals.
• What challenges will you overcome, and what milestones will you achieve on this journey ?

Be creative with the format. You can draw, sketch, or even create a simple stop-motion video to illustrate your journey.

However, while updating your course of choice it's important you remember that in this current phase of the 3MTT program, we only support 12 courses, which are:
1. Cloud Computing
2. Data Analysis & Visualization
3. Data Science
4. DevOps
5. Software Development
6. UI/UX
7. Product Management
8. Game Development
9. Cyber Security
10. Quality Assurance
11. AI/ML
12. Animation

You are informed to update your course of choice to any of the above-listed courses ONLY.

Also remember that we only support limited LGAs for this cohort, and you can view the list of LGAs here.

To change your course or location, follow the following steps:
Login into your 3MTT dashboard (https://app.3mtt.training/fellow/login)
Navigate to the “Profile” section.
Update your LGA of residence or course
Save your changes
Fill out this form(https://shorturl.at/h1Z0j) to match you to the ALC in your new location or support your new course.

Remember that this opportunity closes today Wednesday, 11 September 2024. After this deadline, your ALC assignment will be finalized, and further changes will not be possible.
