Job Summary:
As a Legal Associate at Qaf Legal, you will play a vital role in providing legal support and assistance to our clients and other team members. You will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting, and reviewing legal documents, and assisting in managing the legal matters from inception to completion.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct legal research on various issues and provide analysis and recommendations to QAF Legal Clients and/or internal team members.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and other legal instruments to ensure they comply with legal requirements.
• Draft (and/or assist the team in drafting) legal opinions, strategy papers, arbitration submission, briefs, discovery requests, and other arbitration-related documents.
• Review the facts of a case and prepare documentation for proceedings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure legal compliance and mitigate legal risks for the best interest of our clients.
• Communicate with clients about their case status and next steps in the legal process.
• Assist in managing and tracking legal matters, including deadlines and filings.
• Support QAF Legal management and other team members.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or JD) from an accredited institution.
• 3 – 5 years of experience as a Legal Associate or in a similar legal role.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic (we are looking for a fully bilingual colleague).
• Able to draft documents in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
