TFOU Has recently announced that season six of miraculous will be releasing soon on their channel, but they don’t air episodes out of order so people are speculating the episode one is probably ready but the issue is we don’t know for sure if episode one is actually episode one because so far the order of episodes aren’t really matching up. Today, we’ll talk about some mistakes in episodes 604 "Daddycop" and 605 "Werepapas".
604 "Daddycop"
1. To transform back into Ladybug, Cosmobug says a completely new word, "Retrogradation", which had never been used before. In the episode "Ephemeral", when Cosmobug transformed back into Ladybug, she simply said "Detransformation" in the French dub and "Spots off" in the English dub.
2. In the English dub, instead of saying "No more evil doing for you, ultra-akuma!", Ladybug says, "No more evil doing for you, little akuma!".
605 "Werepapas"
This episode contains animation mistakes caused by the new studio’s unfamiliarity with the show’s previous seasons.
1. In the flashback, we see a young Adrien in front of a portrait of adult Adrien and gray-haired Gabriel dressed in mourning clothes. This portrait was clearly painted after Emilie’s "death", but at the time of the flashback, Emilie is still alive, and Gabriel isn’t gray-haired.
2. On the cover of the photo album that young Adrien is looking through with Emilie, there’s a family picture of the Agrestes where Adrien is noticeably older.
3. Emilie’s eyes in the flashback are gray. We might explain this with a "retro filter", but Adrien’s eyes remain green, and Nathalie’s eyes stay blue, just slightly darker.
Sabine’s eye color has also changed from gray to violet.
Now let’s continue the topic of the writers’ knowledge of the canon, which we discussed in the previous post about the mistakes in episode 602. In three of the first four episodes of season 6 (602–604), Marinette's surprisingly cringy behavior doesn't align with what we saw in season 5 and the London special. And here's what's interesting: alongside T. Astruc and S. Thibodeau, these three episodes were written by new writers: Caroline Torelli (602), Jean-Rémi Perrin (603), and Pierre Doublier (604).
The script for episode 605 "Werepapas" was written only by T. Astruc and S. Thibodeau. And here we see that in episode 605, Marinette behaves exactly as expected after season 5 and the London special—she’s confident, takes charge when it comes to Adrien, and no longer has meltdowns or runs across ceilings.
Meanwhile, episode 604 feels dull, consisting mostly of static dialogues with the constant repetition of the phrase "This is a disaster!", which might seem funny only to those who haven't seen anything beyond season 1. Episode 605, on the other hand, turned out to be genuinely engaging. It’s written completely differently from the previous three episodes, and it feels like classic Miraculous in the spirit of seasons 3–4 (though the resolution of the grandfathers' conflict might seem a bit too childish, but it seems the entire season 6 was made more child-friendly compared to season 5). The plot was so engaging that it even made the new animation style less noticeable.
All in all, we see this as further confirmation that T. Astruc delegated some episodes of the new season to new writers, giving them only a basic plot outline. This explains the cringe and the inconsistencies in character behavior. In episodes without new writers, these problems don’t occur.
And once again, we’re reminded that T. Astruc doesn’t seem to review finished episodes for quality control—just like before. Otherwise, he probably wouldn't have missed that portrait of Adrien and Gabriel, which the lazy animators from Dwarf mindlessly reused from the earlier seasons.

Cristina Vee: We've only done a few episodes so far. I'm not sure how many we've completed, but I really enjoyed seeing the new characters. One of them is named Sublime she's in the first episode. I'm always very excited to hear and see how she's going to shake up the friend group and the love square. Also, watching the new animation was really amazing.
